Kuwait Develops Medical Test to Detect, Keep Out Gay Travelers (Will They Try It Out on Obama?)

By Debbie Schlussel

File Under: “Will They Try This on Obama?”

The Islamic emirate of Kuwait claims to be developing a medical test to detect and keep out gay travelers. Not sure how a medical test can determine whether or not someone is gay, since scientists still haven’t found a “gay gene” or any factors that will, for certain, determine who is gay. And when you think of “world’s top scientists,” you don’t exactly think of Kuwait (or any Arabs or Muslims for that matter). You think of Israel, America, Jews, and Christians, who make the top scientific discoveries. (Frankly, given where it’s coming from, I think the “medical test” is a series of questions: are you an a male flight attendant, makeup artist, or hairstylist? And so on.)

New Kuwaiti Medical Test Will Figure Out These Are Gay . . .

But don’t expect gays to protest outside the Kuwaiti Embassy or make a fuss the way they do over Russia or the way they did over the Mormon Church’s financing of California’s Proposition 8. Gays don’t get upset when Muslims discriminate against them with deadly consequences. They just hate Christians and Jews.

A medical test being developed by Kuwait will be used to ‘detect’ homosexuals and prevent them from entering the country – or any of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC), according to a Kuwaiti government official. GCC member countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates – already deem homosexual acts unlawful. This controversial stance is being toughened, with members of the LGBT community stopped at the border and banned from entering the country, according to Yousouf Mindkar, the director of public health at the Kuwaiti health ministry.

He told Kuwait newspaper Al Rai: ‘Health centres conduct the routine medical check to assess the health of the expatriates when they come into the GCC countries. However, we will take stricter measures that will help us detect gays who will be then barred from entering Kuwait or any of the GCC member states.’ Those taking part in homosexual acts in Kuwait, if they’re under 21, can receive a jail sentence of up to 10 years. Earlier this month Oman newspaper The Week was suspended over an article that was deemed to be sympathetic to homosexuals, according to the BBC.

It’s illegal to be gay in 78 countries, with lesbianism banned in 49. Five countries mete out the death penalty to gay people – Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen and Mauritania.

Hey, you know what those countries have in common? Here’s a hint: ISLAM.

Uh-huh. And, yet, despite the fact that the only Middle Eastern country where gays can live free is in Israel, the Purple Jihad continues with gays in Muslim countries still hating the Jews more than their fellow co-religionists who would execute them.

Again, no word on whether this magical (and likely completely fictional) gay test will be tried on Barack Obama if he travels to Kuwait.

Left wing gays taking part in the International gay parades in Israel demonstrate “against the occupation.” Speaking of occupation, in the entire Middle East, Israel is the only country where gays can legally occupy another man’s anus.

I don’t blame all gays, just the professional contingent that are a far left wing of the Democratic Party.

And yes, in Afghanistan, the Taliban and the non-allies for whom we fought for love to keep and have sex with little boys. This is what we are fighting for.

Jonathan E. Grant on October 7, 2013 at 2:33 pm

    Jon – yup.

And not just with little boys!

They’re hypocrites – they expect us to be pure-minded while behind closed doors they can do whatever they want.

NormanF on October 7, 2013 at 3:30 pm

Will they test the test on their countries own “leaders”?

Frak on October 7, 2013 at 2:36 pm

Well, I was just reading about a ‘test’ that can give false pregnancy results. It is being sold on eBay, and seems like a good way for unethical women to trick men, and get money from them. So maybe that test gave Kuwait the idea of the ‘gayness’ test. If you can produce whatever pregnancy results you want on a test, why not try it with homosexuality?

And all of this is within the broader tradition of the discrediting of tests in general, and using tests to produce whatever results the politically correct (or incorrect in this case) want.

Apparently, this is “science” in the Persisn Gulf. No wonder there is no Nobel Medicine Prize coming out of any Gulf Cooperation Council.

Rodrigo Veleda on October 7, 2013 at 3:00 pm

Okay, so they won’t be getting any Nobel prizes.

But, according to Al Jazeera’s Science Department, thanks to the Saudi investments of hundreds of mllions of dollars, scientists at the University of Abu Dhabi have succeded in developing a device that measures and isolates the magnetic waves that may ultimately enable the operator to assess the level of concentration of gayness through analysis of an individual’s magnetic wavelength frequency.

By 2017, the scientists believe that gaydar will become a reality.

Professor Mohamed Jah Massaquoi at the University of Abu Dhabi had this to say about recent developments:

“This is the first prototype of a gaydar mechanism in existence. By separating the theta magnetic waves from the lambda-alpha waves into subionic clusters, we believe that we will ultimately be able to measure a subject’s gayness.”

Ralph Adamo on October 7, 2013 at 3:47 pm

The gay vice is an open secret in the Arab World.

Muslim Arabs see nothing wrong with homosexuality; just don’t “out” yourself in a Muslim country.

I wonder when they will invent the “Jew Test” next. Stay tuned.

Fine article DS and also interesting, why am I not surprised that Kuwait and a few other Arab-Islamic nations in the middle east are doing such fascistic crap of persecuting against the LGBT community in their country of depriving them of taking a medical test, vice versa. However DS, I’ve been reading tons of sources about whether not folks where born homosexual or not, it’s very debatable, and at the end of the day, I could careless if someone was born LGBT or not.

“since scientists still haven’t found a “gay gene” or any factors that will,”

As I’ve said, I’ve been doing a lot of reading of researches whether nor not, scientists, anthropologists, biologists, etc. have found a “gay-gene” within someone who’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. And some folks have claimed that they were born gay and that there doctors found a gene in them, as I said, it really doesn’t matter to me how any individual was born.

http://jan.ucc.nau.edu/~bio372-c/class/behavior/apbg.htm

“you think of Israel, America, Jews and Christians, who make the top scientific discoveries,”

I agree with you in that statement til a certain extent Debbie, you forgot to mention also the top scientific discoveries and researchers are Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, etc., and they’re other top scientists in other western nations, not just here in the US.

“But don’t expect gays to protest outside the Kuwait Embassy or make a fuss the way they do over Russia”

To me Debbie and everybody else here, the LGBT establishment are hypocrites and phonies, my question is, why haven’t the LGBT cabal demonstrated against Islam and muslims, the only ones who’re doing so, are the average individual in the LGBT community, and not there leaders. Regarding Russia, the reason why they’ve protested was because Putin was being a fascist by putting religion (mainly Christianity) over common-thought and passing dogma fascist legislative discriminatory laws against the LGBT community, for instance, LGBT couples in Russia are forbid to adopt children, etc.!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Will the test detect the tops? I’ve been told that it’s only the bottoms that are “homosexual” in the Dar al-Islam.

The fagometer…LOL

Habib Akbarovich on October 7, 2013 at 4:33 pm

If this dodgy test worked (and it’s prolly all stupid-ass Moooooooslim nonsense) I’d assume they’d have to dispel more than half their population knowing how pervo and secretive (because of Islam…) Mooooooslims have to be when in the 1st world we accept the peripheral lifestyle choices of others.

And let me bonk the lefty gays with the Homie The Clown sock after I bonk the dreaded Mooooslims on the head…no, they won’t protest.

Those annoying creeps just gave Jennifer “JLo” a HUMANITARIAN award for being so pro-gay. They didn’t give a eff she took over a million dollars to sing Crappy Birthday to the Turkmen President. Gays like that should be ashamed.

And I have never heard her crap on about her fag-hag love of gays. I’m not against the love just the fact that they chose someone who isn’t excessively verbal about it (like other frauds they usually pic like Madonna and Lady Junk-Junk…at least they gave it ample lip-service) and someone who doesn’t give a sh** about human rights in one of the most repressive regimes (and cult of personality like) in the world with a barbarian dictator. Nice, lefty gays. Real effin’ nice you frauds.

Skunky on October 7, 2013 at 5:39 pm

The few times the LGBT lobby has acknowledged the persecution of gays in the Muslim world, including hangings, stonings, executions etc., it was little more than an excuse to morally equivocate Islam with Christianity and c*** on religion in general.

Meanwhile, the LGBT lobby has been using a spike in anti-gay attacks in New York City (not even approaching the level of what goes on in the Muslim world) to push to effectively criminalize Christianity and criminalize any and all criticism of the homosexual lifestyle, and to push to make NYC an even more homocentric society rooted entirely in Greenwich Village/San Francisco values (with no place whatsoever for Judeo-Christian morality). Never mind that, with the rise in the Muslim population in NYC (never mind the whole of America), such attacks stand to increase exponentially from here on out.

But on topic, how long will it be before Obama goes after Kuwait for such “scientific” findings, in much the same manner as he’s been ganging up on Russia?

ConcernedPatriot on October 7, 2013 at 6:08 pm

“Meanwhile, the LGBT lobby has been using a spike in anti-gay attacks in New York City…”

CP, I’m wondering if this spike has anything to do with the “coincidental” spike in the number of Mooooslims there.

Miss Schlussel, Et Alii:

There is indeed a medical test for determing homosexuality.

I don’t know how it works, but doctors were using it in Portland, Oregon at the Armed Forces Entrance and Examination Station on Thursday 07 December 1967 when I was being processed into the United States Army.

From what little I saw, and from what I overheard other guys discussing, they had a bunch of guys in a darkened room, all naked, standing in a circle, jumping up and down, and then doctors would shine a light in their eyes.

I only very briefly glimpsed the mysterious activity when the door was momentarily opened.

During my own processing, they didn’t have me go into that room, so I’m guessing they were probably only testing guys who claimed to be homosexual, in order to determine if those guys were genuinely homosexual, or merely lying about it in an effort to avoid military service.

Remember, this was during the war in Viet Nam, which was very unpopular and controversial, and lots of guys were doing all sorts of stuff to avoid being drafted, including burning their draft card, fleeing to Canada, or, if already in military service, deserting the ranks to seek asylum in Sweden.

That reminds me of a joke I heard in the Army.

A draftee in Basic Training, hoping to be immediately sent home, told the Drill Sergeant that he was a homosexual.

“Oh, yeah?”, replied the Drill Sergeant.

Whereupon the Drill Sergeant proceeded to unbutton his fly, hurling his challenge at the draftee, “PROVE IT!”

When I was at Fort Gordon, Georgia, a lieutenant propositioned a private in the barracks.

That lieutenant was out of the Army within forty-eight (48) hours.

A similar incident occurred when I was in Germany, with a similar result.

Back in those days, when it came to issues of sexual misconduct, the Army didn’t fool around.

Thank you.

“Gays don’t get upset when Muslims discriminate against them with deadly consequences.”

False.

I saw this story posted on one of the widest-read gay blogs and the comments range from “effed-up countries” to “dirty minds of sick people” to “Islam is our main enemy” to “we keep inviting these people in, too.”

The far left gays, Debbie, are the loudest, but not the most numerous.

@skzion,
that was from Towleroad (http://www.towleroad.com/2013/10/persian-gulf-countries-may-use-medical-exams-to-detect-gay-visitors.html#comments).
Commentators from another popular gay blog, qweerty (http://www.queerty.com/kuwait-to-perform-medical-tests-to-keep-lgbts-out-of-country-20131007/), as asking for Kuwaitis to be deported from the US in response and are calling Kuwaitis hypocrites for accepting western help to be freed from Saddam but then demanding that they keep western gays out.

Are there far leftist loonies amongst the gays? Yes. Beyond Arab and other Muslim gays, though, I find little mainstream gay support for any policy (especially the anti-gay policies) emanating from these countries. On the contrary, a sizable number of my gay friends (even those in Europe) have visited Israel and couldn’t stop glowing about it. Again, don’t expect much support from Arab, Muslim, or far-leftist gays, but they don’t come close to a majority of gays. (and I even have some gay, secular Turkish friends, nominally Muslims, who openly respect Israel more than their own ruling Islamist party).

samurai on October 8, 2013 at 12:25 am

This is a provcotive and silly sentence: “Gays don’t get upset when Muslims discriminate against them with deadly consequences. They just hate Christians and Jews.”

First up: Many gays are Christian, Jewish or Muslim as well as Bhuddist, Hindu and of nor religion
Secondly: I dont know gay people who would profess hate for Christians or Jews—–they are not thrilled to be discriminated against by anyone
3. We know what happens to gays when they protest in Kuwait. We have seen what has happened in Russia and in parts of Africa. People die. To say gay people are selective about where and how they protest is true. They want to live. I imagine that there will be inernational protests. Hopefully, we will all declare this discrimination to be an abomination.

Also, while nothing has been found that would declare someone has a “gay gene”, there are a cluster of findings that show a strong correlation with a genetic origin. I agree with teh writer above that it is not really important how someone becomes gay. Its just a reality isnt it?

Aus Truth on October 8, 2013 at 2:21 am

Aus Truth, it’s sounds like you’re big-noting but you are devoid of facts. Emotional know-nothings are like that. We’ll point you out because dopes like you should be exposed.

The whole crux of most gay anger (especially in Libtard Activist Gays) IS because they feel religion de-legitimizes them. You know that. You’re just suspending the obvious truth as you go around the world in lieu of walking thru the door in FRONT of you. Boring and stupid.

Did you not read what I wrote about “JLo”? A Gay group gave her a Humanitarian Award even thou’ she sang for a Million dollars for a very INHUMANE Despot from Turkmenistan. DUH!!!!

They didn’t judge her on Humanity across the board, just “Well, she’s nice to us so we love her anyway”. Truthful people see that as evil AND opportunist…because when you disregard the truth like that, the Monster WILL come back to bite you.

Think about something before you crap on about it. You don’t know what you’re talking about and made a complete fool of yourself.

Skunky on October 8, 2013 at 11:34 am

      Skunky,

      My old friend….
You never said what group gave her an award or when, but I guess that doesn’t really matter dose it, because one gay group speaks for them all, right? But I would agree with you in that after that any group giving her Humanitarian award is goofy.

“The whole crux of most gay anger (especially in Libtard Activist Gays) IS because they feel religion de-legitimizes them. ” Hummm, sounds like some one has more than skeletons in their closet.

Aus Truth’s point is that is quite frankly, retarded to try to paint all gays as Christian haters. I’m not really sure what that had to do with JL0 but way to go on the non sequitur, it was aces.

pete on October 8, 2013 at 4:35 pm

Cockroach, you prove my very point by coming out from under your skeevy Frigidaire to stick up for the group you belong to…Libtard Gays. Thanks for that! 😛

Even if I were an annoying Lesbo, what the hell would you care? You’re a gay male and we’d have NOTHING in common. In fact, you won’t even be candid and admit how annoying Lezzers are. I don’t need anything in my closet because just like you, I’ve known from a young age what my sexual orientation is. Isn’t that right, Cocky Roach?

And you only said that ‘cuz you know I’m right. Gays really hate religion because it’s the one organization and belief system that can point out certain ways of life are wrong and sinful. Gays are humans like we all are and wanna be accepted so they really hate when the Holy Rollers come around and point out that God has a STRONG point of view on the topic. No man is a Roach Motel, Cockroach.

I’m upgrading to Ortho Home Defense. My can of Black Flag does keep your annoying ass at bay but I need something more potent to kill you DEAD.

Skunky on October 8, 2013 at 5:39 pm

I don’t disagree that about wanted to be like and so forth. My point was that simply painting all gays as Christian hater is simply not accurate and you know this.

So your a lezze? Your right I don’t care.

And what was that award J-Lo got? Oh, you just made that up to prove your point. Though as much.

pete on October 9, 2013 at 7:52 am

I wouldn’t be a Lezzer with your wee penis, Cockroach. What would you care anyway? If I were I’d have triple the testosterone that you have, little girl.

And I know it gets dark under the icebox but go on your little Cockroach computer and google JLo & her faggy Humanitarian award. You’re a lazy, lazy Cockroach…I refuse to do your roachy work for you, Petunia.

When gays stop lumping everybody who disagrees with their choice of night club decorations as homophobic Neanderthal bigots and Bill Maher stops trying to nail sexual innuendo phrases on every conservative group or individual that doesn’t flagellate itself before his honorary perfunctory political correctness maybe you will have something to say to skunky.
Until that day keep it zipped my “friend”.

Frankz on October 8, 2013 at 6:33 pm

I personally have absolutely nothing against gays and I believe that who you love, live with and sleep with is your business–no one elses.

However a fact that the LGBT community will never admit is that it is the open PROMOTION of the LGBT lifestyle that frightens so many in these countries. When they see “gay rights” parades with people dressed in BDSM gear and beating each other, to a devout religious person what do you think that they think about that ??

When now every TV show has openly gay characters on them and show graphic gay love scenes–what do you think that these people think ??

It doesn’t make their prejudice against gay people right but it is understandable that seeing this behavior disgusts and frightens them thus these they create draconian anti-gay laws.

jimmyPx on October 8, 2013 at 1:46 pm

They will be the typical hypocrits as others are. The mu-slimes religion has a basis that is built on homosexuality. Not really talked about in the media. yes-sir air-is-fat, was a queer. And if they did have a “test”, it would prove that obama couldn’t or could pass the test, depending on how you look at it, he is one. he is a horned owl worshiper.

Frankz on October 8, 2013 at 6:15 pm

This is why most people in the world find all those Islamic countries and their religion so frightening and horrible. They don’t respect other people’s freedom. How can they have the legal right to take a person’s life if they’re homosexual? It just seems so primitive and ignorant. I suppose that’s what they’re all best known for… their barbaric and irrational nature. I for one cannot believe that such retrograde societies still exist in our time. I feel so horrified for all those poor people that are gay and were born in those horrible countries and have to keep it completely secret just to stay alive.

Karma is unavoidable. In the end those people will get what they deserve. Just as love is rewarded with love, Hate is punished with hate.

If you were a Lezzer you wouldn’t want to have a penis. Maybe you should make sure you really are so sure about your sexual orientation.
