OUTRAGE: Jihadist Who Went Overseas to Help Terrorists Wage Jihad Gets $100 Fine, Probation
The Obama Administration has a message for Americans who want to travel overseas to become jihadists and homicide bombers: if you’re caught, we’ll set you free and give you a $100 fine.
It’s truly an outrage that less than two weeks before American jihadists helped murder 72 people at a Nairobi, Kenya mall, another American-born Islamic terrorist was set free by the Obama “Justice” Department and given a small fine. Eric Harroun, a U.S. Army veteran of Arab descent, traveled to Syria, where he fought alongside Al-Qaeda-connected Free Syrian Army and Al-Nusra terrorists and engaged in jihad. He was finally arrested and returned here, reportedly by the Jordanians, and was indicted on federal criminal charges. But in the end, he was given a mere three years probation and a $100 fine. Yup, what a great message to send to American Islamic terrorists: you keep doing what you’re doing. We’ll look the other way.
Oh, and by the way, one of the two people who signed affidavits assuring America that Harroun wasn’t a terrorist was Elizabeth O’Bagy, who was recently exposed as a fake and a liar, and who is known to be associated with Al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria, herself. It’s based on her false information that John McCain and Barack Obama were ready to send more weapons and help to the Syrians and go to war with them. For that reason AND because of her lying about having a Ph.D. from Georgetown (she claimed she had one; she didn’t), O’Bagy was recently fired by the Institute for the Study of War. But, hey, this known serial liar is “reliable” enough to help a terrorist go free.
I guess it has something to do with the fact that–despite the deal with the Russians regarding alleged Syrian WMD–Obama and McCain still very badly want U.S. arms and funds to go to the same Al-Qaedaniks with whom Eric Harroun was in jihadi partnership. So, the Obama Justice Department can’t say they are terrorists when Obama, himself, John Kerry, and McCain keep telling us they are not terrorists. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that this dung heap, Harroun, is a big “Palestine” activist (I wonder if the feds looked into whether he has HAMAS connections and/or has “fought” with that terrorist group).
Last week, 30-year-old Phoenix native Eric Harroun faced a possible sentence of life in prison after the Justice Department accused him of fighting in Syria on behalf of Al-Qaeda. . . . Harroun suddenly agreed to a plea deal yesterday, and his sentence is quite a bit shorter than life in prison — he’ll be released from jail, be placed on probation for three years, and has to pay a $100 fine. . . .
According to federal prosecutors, media outlets started talking about Harroun, and in one interview, Harroun described a battle in which he had been separated from his rebel group — many of whom were killed in action — and was picked up by another group, which he believed was Jabhat al-Nusra.
Although Jabhat al-Nusra also is fighting the Syrian regime, the U.S. government considers it a terrorist organization, due to its ties to al-Qaeda.
It’s amazing to me: people in America caught drunk driving, even if they didn’t injure or kill anyone, are sentenced to many more years than this Islamic terrorist who now roams America’s streets.
Only in America (and Canada and the UK and France and Switzerland and Dar Al-Scandinavia and all the other idiotic Western countries with zero common sense).

So, al Qaeda linked terrorists are slapped on the wrist but TEA Party groups in the USA are harassed by the IRS and American Patriots are considered extremists by DHS.
