Rouhani: Remember That Obama’s “Moderate” Peace Partner Funds Hezbollah, Endorses Holocaust Denial

By Debbie Schlussel

When Hassan Rouhani was “elected” President of Iran in June, I was invited to be on some BBC show, where I said that Rouhani is far worse than his predecessor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because he puts a moderate mask on the exact same extremism. He holds the same hatred for Jews, endorses the same Holocaust denial, and has the same desire to wipe Israel and the Jews off the face of the map. And, so it goes, despite whatever phony words Rouhani utters today at the United Nations Assembly of Third World Banana Republics.

But, since he’s smart enough not to say those things explicitly–and send public Rosh HaShanah greetings to the Jews in a calculated PR move–he’s raved and gushed over as someone different. And, so, he is far more dangerous than Ahmadinejad. I, for one, was fine without Rouhani’s phony Jewish New Year wishes. I’ve gotten plenty of death, rape, and torture threats from his fellow Shi’ite co-religionists in Dearbornistan who revere him and said the stuff to me that Rouhani is actually thinking about Jews and Americans.

And, yet, this same guy, Rouhani, is still funding the Hezbollah terrorist group that murdered over 300 Americans in cold blood at the Marine barracks and U.S. Embassy in Beirut nearly thirty years ago. Rouhani, in a much-hyped recent interview with NBC’s Ann Curry, declined to disavow Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust denial. She asked him at least twice, and he refused. That means he thinks exactly as his predecessor . . . as if there was a doubt. So far, no one has actually identified any concrete differences between Rouhani and Ahmadinejad, other than a diploma from Tehran New School for Charm Offensive Planning. As I said back in June on BBC, this is just another head of the Iranian ayatollahs’ muti-headed hydra, just like Ahmadinejad was. The ayatollahs are the puppetmasters. And just because they chose a puppet with a “kinder” phony visage, doesn’t mean there is any less bent to their wishes for the death and destruction of the West (not just Israel and the Jews).

And, yet, Barack Obama and the mainstream media and the conventional wisdom elite are anointing this reprobate to the same status as an American President with Rouhani’s appearance at the United Nations today. If Obama had any self-respect–and he does not (it’s not the same as excessive self-esteem and egomania)–he would dismiss Rouhani’s comments as pap, before they happened. He would demand that Rouhani denounce Hezbollah, apologize for the mass murders of Americans by the Iran-founded-and funded terrorist group. And he would demand that Rouhani withdraw all funding and arms to Hezbollah. He would demand that Rouhani stop using our country as a base for Hezbollah funding schemes and money-laundering operations. But Obama won’t dare make such demands on Iran. Bush wouldn’t and didn’t, either.

Even Bush sent representatives to talk with the Iranians with no preconditions, something vehemently defended by hack Condi Clueless a/k/a Condoleeza Rice. It made the Iranians equals, treating them as if they deserve an equal seat at the table with America, despite what they are doing to their own people, with nukes, and with Hezbollah funding and weaponry. Then, Bush sent Iran nearly $160 million in goods, including Coca-Cola and bras, defying and undercutting the economic embargo against the country. Republicans even embraced Carly Fiorina–who traded with Iran and defied the embargo by setting up foreign subsidiaries of HP to do biz with the ayatollahs. She was never questioned about this by anyone in the GOP. They just didn’t care and made her their failed California U.S. Senate candidate. What’s a Republican moderate? One who trades with Iran and doesn’t answer for it.

Heck, the only American President in recent years who really had the guts to deal Iran some blows was, ironically, Bill Clinton. He began the economic embargo against Iran, and the country suffered. Only $8 million of goods–all of them strictly emergency goods–went from U.S. shores. He also signed a counterterrorism package that made it illegal to donate to Iran-backed Islamic terrorist groups, including Hezbollah. And he had his Justice Department go after a lot of Hezbollah financiers, backers, and money-launderers. After 9/11, that tapered off demonstrably under faux-“counter-terrorism” Prez Bush and remains at the same low level of enforcement under Obama.

And, now, Obama thinks he will entice Rouhani and Iran with kindness. But, actually, it’s the other way around.

And the consequences are fatal for the West.

Rouhani was elected because Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei – the country’s real boss – decided Ahmedinejad’s strident anti-Semitic and anti-Western rhetoric did too much damage to Iran’s international standing. In a rigged, Soviet-style election with no real choice permitted, he ensured his favored hand-picked candidate won. The only real difference between Rouhani and his predecessor is Rouhani puts a more nuanced and pliable face on Iran’s genocidal policies. And the West’s reaction of course is because it wants to be fooled. Israel is the lonely odd man out in the Rouhmania sweeping the Western World. Of course Rouhani doesn’t make the decisions in his country. Bottom line being that nothing has changed in Iran, which remains a theocratic dictatorship run by Muslim mullahs.

“Heck, the only American President in recent years who really had the guts to deal Iran some blows was, ironically, Bill Clinton.”

I had understood that the only reason Klinton even did that was because he received slush money from displaced Shah-elite Iranians hoping that economic turmoil might cause the ouster of the Ayatollah and Iran’s return to monarchy rule.

Just like they all appeased Uncle Joe during World War II, and Hitler and Mussolini, as well, in the 30s.

But appeasement’s lack of success is so obvious that I think the ‘appeasers’ really don’t see that much wrong with the mindset of Muslim fanatics, just as so many American politicians, deep down, didn’t object so much to Communism or fascism. It isn’t naiveté so much as a lack of real principles. When people are friendly to totalitarian societies, it means they wouldn’t really object to such forms of social organization here, if they thought they could get away with it. And they are certainly trying.

Little Al on September 24, 2013 at 2:14 pm

    Nicely said, Little Al.

This nation will never do the right thing regarding Islam until most people see Islam for what it is. Every year instead of getting closer, we get more far away. It’s pathetic.

Look at how dopes are fawning over Russia’s Putin? Forgetting what he’s all about and it’s hard to imagine in 2013 but Russia is 4X as corrupt as USA is.

Also, I read today that some TGL (Transgendered, Gay Lesbian…I don’t acknowledge LGBT because it’s stupid and I’m redefining things as THEY redefine things…) Human Rights Group is giving an award to Jennifer Lopez. The same Jennifer Lopez who serenaded the President of Turkmenistan for Million$ in July and had to apologize. Let’s hear it for human rights the JLo way!!! Libtard gays don’t care as long as they are being pandered to.

It’s all fraud, all the time in 2013.

Thanks, Skunky. I hope you didn’t take offense at my comment the other day. I meant it as a compliment.

No worries, Little Al. That’s how I took it & right back @ ya! 😀

The comparison of Hassan Rouhani and his ilk to Stalin is an apt one. Although Stalin was a little more forthcoming about what he was about, if you could pin Rouhani down in private, I’m sure he’d agree with Uncle Joe:

“The greatest delight is to mark one’s enemy, prepare everything, avenge oneself thoroughly, and then go to sleep.”–Joseph Stalin

Ralph Adamo on September 24, 2013 at 6:25 pm

Rouhani, just more poison fruit from the diseased roots of Islam; just another ruthless monster, worshiper of pure hatred and evil.

Like angels in hell, reasonable Muslims don’t exist except as an exception to the rule. Why, at this late date, would any sentient soul think otherwise?

lee of the lower case "l" on September 24, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Little Al’s statement . . .

“When people are friendly to totalitarian societies, it means they wouldn’t really object to such forms of social organization here, if they thought they could get away with it.”

That’s quite telling, and profound. How many times have I heard liberal intellectuals speak similar such words. If I had a penny for every time, . . .

IceNoMore on September 24, 2013 at 3:50 pm

Yup.

To show how “moderate” Rouhani is – he refused to meet Obama and shake his hands at the UN today. It appears that Iran’s “charm offensive” has its limits.

A reconciliation with the Great Satan is not on Iran’s agenda.

NormanF on September 24, 2013 at 4:21 pm

The Iranians will roll Obambi like a bowling ball – as did Putin. As for Lurch meeting with the Iranians, one need only to look at what happened when he “Negotiated” with Lavrov. Lurch is WAY out of his league…..better he stay home and inventory Teresa’s supply if Jack Daniels. As for Obama’s speech at the UN…..it was a laughable rehash of self back patting with a few sops to Islam thrown in. World leaders from Putin to the leader of Fiji look upon him as a joke. After the murderous attack by Islamic terrorists on the mall last week, Obama’s comments never used the words Islam/Muslim/Terrorism. As for his comments on the attack on Christians leaving church in Pakistan – killing eighty some odd people, I expect Obama to come out with his usual “Powerful statement,” “We mustn’t rush to judgment.”

Terrific article Debbie, ironically DS, I read one of your archives from 2009 in Iran when the Iranian/Persian people across Iran demonstrated against Ahmadinejad’s dogmatic regime by wanting him ousted as their president, to your own credit DS, you gave out exclusive information on Ahmadinejad’s opponent back in 2009 when you said that his opponent at the time was worst than Ahmadinejad, because he did tons of dealings with Islamic-terrorists groups, didn’t denounce Hezbollah terrorists and for their actions what they did to our Marines at the barracks in Beirut, Lebanon back 30 years ago, when they (Hezbollah) murdered about 300 of our guys, etc.

To be honest with you, I think this dude, Mr. Rouhani is a little worst than his predecessor Ahmadinejad, the reason, he holds and keeps his hateful and spiteful thoughts to himself and not overtly admit to the world, but walks around with a big smile on his face and says that he’s a moderate and a “middle-of-the-roader” (which the opposite is true with him). In Iran, it’s mainly the mullahs and ayatollah’s who’s doing all of the actions behind close doors and pulling the wool of people’s eyes to make everyone believe that the politicians in Iran are doing everything, and one of my Iranian/Persian friends said the exact samething to me what you’ve said in this link Debbie, that the mullahs have the politicians in Iran in their back-pockets and telling them what policies to legislate, etc.!

All the world’s a stage, and each must play their part. The leaders of the Islamic word do wonderful Shakespeare, The Good Guys, The Moderates, The Terrorists, The Quadruple Agent Arms Dealers.

And the Hollywood-ized, glitzed out, celebrity driven American culture sits, watches, oohs, ahhs, and blissfully munches away on decadent treats, planted firmly in their seats, delighted and amazed by the show. Until the bad guys slaughter the theatergoers, who will exclaim how they paid good money for their tickets (aid and comfort, plus arms and humanitarian aid), but it will not matter.

American slaughter, tens of, or a couple hundred million, and a smoking hole in the ground. Believe it. It could happen here. We’re ready for it.

Clinton was probably just trying to get in with the Saudis.
One of the biggest scum bag presidents in American history who helped set the present day trajectory make no mistake having lowered the “bar” literally for everyone that followed him.

He missed on Bin Laden why?

Many things are more clear (because they are so rotted and diseased) in 2013 than ever before and this article hi-lights one of the most important things today that is dressed up by dopes. That’s what this site does.

Again, you don’t have to know all DS knows about Islam but if you know her bottom line, it will lead you to the truth (Islam!) and that’s all you need to know (but learning others things is only beneficial…) about this canny fraud Rouhani.

How many idiots have you heard (and I am speaking on the so-called “Conservative” side…I don’t listen to Libtards in 2013…) who HOPE that Rouhani *may* be a good guy? Plenty. And they let their ignorance show when they do.

Just as many STILL believe the “Arab Spring” may still work out for Egypt (especially now that they axed Morsi and banned the MB…as if that means anything in Islamic hell-holes…) because of the “REAL” reformers. As I said, when I hear that sh** I know I’m listening to a real retard.

This country is in so much trouble. People are just now seeing how dangerously weak (and maybe 2x as duplicitous…) the Republican congress is and almost nobody is gonna do what they should do with that fraud Obama-Putin. It’s amazingly disgusting to behold.

Now, it’s like I am watching the world be duped on many levels at the same time bad guys are winning all around the world. I’ve never seen so many stupid and hapless people in all my life.

Skunky on September 24, 2013 at 5:30 pm

Egypt has a very tough road ahead. I heard recently that the administration is covertly blocking aid which is what I was afraid of and should tell you everything you need to know.

Egypt is moving in the right direction which means it’s going to get difficult.
    My hopes are with them.

Other than that I’m feeling everything you’re saying Skunky.

Frankz on September 24, 2013 at 7:49 pm

The administration would not have blocked aid to Morsi no matter what he had done.

Putin has made a horse’s ass out of Obama over Syria.
However when you believe the world revolves around your very own personal media circus it means you always get to be the happy clown. The whole world (especially the 80% that play hard ball) is laughing at him and the US.

So in fairness to Putin he does not deserve to lumped together with idiotic Muslim Brotherhood dupe. Not that Putin isn’t playing his own games with Muslim extremists and I wouldn’t count China out of the equation. Not at all.

Frankz on September 24, 2013 at 8:00 pm

skunky: ” I’ve never seen so many stupid and hapless people in all my life.”

Indeed.

My theory is that the core people are of the same ilk as they always were, but that the last three generations have either been or conditioned by the hippie leftists and their socio-political agenda.

DS_ROCKS! on September 24, 2013 at 7:44 pm

Having religious leaders make policy and laws in your country does not lead to Theocracy. It leads to fascism. That is exactly what Iran’s so called “democracy” is headed towards, if they are not there already
The mullahs obviously do not care about there people because the sanctions have led to extremely high unemployment and unrest.
I am curious what is nuclear Iran ( I am being serious) going to change?
I mean any action at all would assure there complete destruction. Perhaps people feel that they would share this technology with terrorists. Do not want a nuclear iran but just wondering what is the specific threat to the United States. Pakistan already has the bomb. They are as radical if not more than Iran. Just wondering

sanjay on September 24, 2013 at 9:07 pm

President Obama does not care about substance, but merely a temporary appearance in terms of public policy. We can see that with The Affordable Care Act.

WEll said and well done. I am sick and tired of the institutionalized hypocrisy of political correctness. I t is about time to dump political correctness in the garbage can and start to talk truth.

Look sister; they encouraged Tunisian girls to be a part of sex Jihad. SEx Jihad to entertain Jihad fighters is nothing but sanctioned prostitution nothing in its worst form. Girls as young as 14 years old are encouraged to participate in this brothel. One girl tried to escape they killed her for that.

Now Tunisian Girls are going back home pregnant and this is not the worst part of it. They go back with HIV infection. Hopefully the disease will take care of the Jihadists. 14 years old girls forced to participate in the sexual Jihad. WOW.

@Sanjay – Have not given it much though but you have a point. Pakistan was one of thr first countries in the world to aquire nuclear weapons. Living with over 2 million of them, and in a majority Pakistani area, they are fundamentalist. I would say a good 80%, of the terrorist organisations and madrassas in the UK are lead by or founded by Pakistanis, probably much more. The USA has repeatedly accused them of funding and “exporting” terrorism.
@Franz – I do not get the comments about Putin. He probably does have his own agenda with the muslim world, but looking at Russia’s huge history with these nations and the Chechen war, I firmly believe that Putin knows what he is doing. On a separate subject, he is the only man in the west to takes concrete steps to protecting children from adoption by same -sex couples, and to prohibit the promotion, advertising and education of homosexuality, particulary to children. By refusing to support a strike on Syria, he has also prevented the British and American troops from being sent to their deaths in another Islamic terror hole. Critics must give him credit for that.
For me, Islamic nations are like sleeping dogs, leave them alone, or fraternise when necessary and you can have the relation you require if necessary. Interfere and antagonise and you are pouring oil on a very unpredictable fire. Our real problem lies at home with our government forced mass muslim immigration, multiculturalism and Islamization. Not is some desert hell hole which most Americans and Brits couldn’t point to on a map, yet seem to think we are there to “fight for our country”, crap!

Robert England on September 28, 2013 at 2:36 pm

    Robert,
    1) “he is the only man in the west”, Putin is not a Western leader Rob.

    2) “I firmly believe that Putin knows what he is doing” – Putin may know what he’s doing but you don’t what that is or what he wants to do Robert.

    3) When you say he “prevented the British and American troops from being sent to their deaths in another Islamic terror hole”.
Putin’s doing what he believes is the interest of Russia, There’s no reason he to believe he wouldn’t be thrilled to see the US mired in another Afghanistan if it served his purpose like any other self respecting KGB operative.

    4) There’s evidence that a lot of the anti West propaganda that is now so prevalent in the Arab world was spread by the Russians. They may even have spread the “Protocols of Zion” at one point.

    5) Putin has said for record that anything that weakens the West strengthens his position so it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t have our interests at heart.

Very narrow minded and superficial understanding of events, luckily people who hold these views are not in power, because if they are they will destroy America.
