Muslim Lawyer Dumbed Down Already Dumbed-Down NFL; Says IQ Test for Morons “Racist”

By Debbie Schlussel

Is the IQ test used by the National Football League (NFL)–to gauge NFL draftees’ intelligence–racist? A Muslim left-wing lawyer thinks so. And he, sadly, has a lotta pull with the league and has gotten NFL teams to use his dumbed downed test.

Lawyer Cyrus Mehri Dumbs Down the Already Quite Dumb NFL

If you’re a football fan, then you know that tonight is the start of the 2013 National Football League (NFL) draft, or as I like to call it, “Beauty Pageant for America’s Next Top Bankrupt Multi-BabyDaddy Crack Dealer.” And whether or not you’re a football–or even a sports fan at all, you may have heard of the Wonderlic test, which is given to prospective NFL draft picks to test their intelligence (or, rather, lack thereof). I call it the NFL’s Idiocy Litmus Test. The Wonderlic test is a sort of IQ test for morons, in which the questions are so easy, you really, really have to be an imbecile not to score well. And, yet, the NFL and its draft are so full of such utter dummies that many score very low. I mean these future millionaire/current multi-babydaddies can’t even count how many kids they’ve fathered or how many chicks they’ve fathered them with, so it’s no surprise. Questions on the Wonderlic are something like this: If your first name is David, what’s your first name? Or, if your first name is David, what letter does your first name begin with? Okay, so they’re not that easy, but pretty close. Here’s a real “challenging” Wonderlic question I’ve posted on this site in the past:

Which number in the following group of numbers represents the smallest amount?: 7, .8, 31, .33, or 2.

Wow, you gotta be a rocket surgeon to answer that . . . or is that, a brain scientist? And, yet, the NFL is chock full of geniuses who get questions like that wrong (and are bankrupt with 11 illegit kids by 20 women to support, three years later–yes, I know you can’t have 11 kids with 20 women, but shhhhh!, don’t spoil their pride in big numbers).

Now, a far-left Iranian Muslim lawyer, Cyrus Mehri, has convinced many NFL teams that the test is too hard and too “raaaaciiiiist!” So he developed a new test that has nothing to do with intelligence. Yup, a typical liberal who believes that Blacks are dummies, so we need to get rid of any standardized tests for IQ:

There’s a new test in town that promises to improve the focus of the NFL microscope on draft prospects, while possibly giving more players at fair chance a sound evaluation [DS: sic]. But don’t think the NFL’s Player Assessment Tool (PAT) will predict whether a first-round D-tackle will wind up wrecking the buffet during a brawl at the Midnight Lounge. The PAT is not designed for that.

Yet the customized test, which will be administered to prospects at the NFL’s scouting combine this week in Indianapolis, is supposed to provide teams with an idea of whether a player will get along with teammates, make it to meetings on time and put in the effort to take his skills from good to great. Just as significantly, the PAT will provide an indication of how the player will best pick up the playbook — whether it’s with a visual aid, in writing, or with an on-the-field demonstration (sans yelling, please).

At least that’s the hope. If this tool proves to be as viable as promised, it has been a long time coming as an added evaluation component in the NFL draft process. “These guys are making these multi-million dollar decisions, and in some regards it’s like they are walking into a dark room with a flashlight,” Cyrus Mehri, the attorney who proposed the PAT idea to the NFL, told USA TODAY Sports. . . . More than two years ago, Mehri began collaborating with an industrial psychology expert, Henry Goldstein, a professor at Baruch College, City University of New York, to develop a test for NFL players.

For decades, prospects at the combine have taken the Wonderlic exam to measure aptitude, but there has long been a sentiment by many in the league that the IQ test was an irrelevant measure for evaluating football players. As with other forms of standardized testing, some critics have contended there is a bias against test-takers from lower socio-economic backgrounds. . . .

“This kind of levels the playing field from a socio-economic point of view,” Mehri contends. “A lot of guys may be very intelligent, but are not as book-smart as others. Someone may not be the best reader, but they can still be very smart in picking up things.”

Mehri was behind the NFL’s “Rooney Rule,” the silly affirmative action quota pursuant to which the NFL requires its teams to interview at least one Black candidate for every head coaching position or be fined several hundred thousand dollars. The rule is a joke because it forces NFL teams who already have a chosen head coaching candidate to fly in a Black guy they likely have no intention of hiring, just so they can go through the motions and avoid the fine. It does the Black candidate no good, because he’s being used and teased. It’s a typical empty sop to liberalism and pretense at being “down with the struggle” of the race merchants. And, yes, there is no White Rooney Rule for playing positions on the NFL field, where in excess of 70% of positions are filled by Blacks. Nor is there a White Rooney Rule for Tyler Perry studios. Just sayin’.

Cyrus Mehri is a former associate of the late race-baiter and O.J. Simpson lawyer, Johnny Cochran. He has also made hundreds of millions of dollars in shakedown lawsuits against Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, and other big corporations alleging “raaacism.” Hey, it’s halal money, right? The Cyrus Mehri Global Pluralism Fellowship he sponsors at Hartwick College gave out money for the promotion of Islam and Islamic “fashion” for women. Guys, I’ll bet you can’t wait ’til he extends “Islamic fashion for women” to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the Cincinnati Ben-Gals, and the Buffalo Jills.

For 2009-10, Hira Siddiqui ’10 explored Misconceptions of Islam through a roundtable discussion about Islam; a guest lecturer on Islamic law, the Qur’an, and roles of women in Islam; and a cultural fashion show with a discussion of dress codes in different countries.

So, when the new NFL season begins in the fall, don’t be surprised if you see even dumber players than the already major morons you see in pro football right now.

And you can thank Cyrus Mehri for that. He’s laughing at you, the NFL, and Black people (who he thinks are all stupid–as most liberals and affirmative action supporters think) . . . all the way to the bank.

Here is what the NFL is looking for..players that can remember and work the plays.

Now, if they want to dumb down the test, fine. It will look like the Three Stooges have taken the field with a ghetto flair. (Anyone remember the Three Stooges short, “Three Little Pigskins,” with a small part for an unknown actress named Lucille Ball)?

“Hey (Black) Curly, throw the ball.”

“What Ball?”

“You dumb motherf’er. The Ball in your hand.”

“Hey, watch it, or I’ll cap you.”

“Pick two.”

“One, Two.”

“Bang, Bang!” “There, I gave you two with a .44).

Curly is carried off the field, bleeding.

Moe to Black Larry, “Hey, the play’s over. Why are you running so fast.”

“I just got me this television during halftime for a five finger discount, and now the cops are after me.”

I understand that teachers and students acrost (since I’m discussing teachers and students I might as well write like them) the country are striking against standardized tests (in comparison to their usual hard work.)

The stupidity of the students and incompetence of the teachers cannot be revealed! Down with the tests! And goodness! What if the teachers ever had to take the tests???

One of the dumbest arguments I’ve ever heard against the use of standardized tests is that teachers would have to ‘teach to the tests.’ Given the wackiness of education acrost the country, I can think of worse things to teach to. Especially since the tests measure general educational competence, and show the US following behind more and more other countries.

Of course, since AFT President Randi Weingarten cannot add 1/3 and 1/4 in her head, perhaps there is an element of self-preservation of National AFT leadership as well.

I do remember a test I took many years ago for the Army. One question in particular that still stands out.
AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, WATER IS AN EXAMPLE OF:
A). A solid
B). A gas
C). A liquid
D). Endoplasmic reticulum

The suspense is killing me! Which one is it?

    Mr X on April 25, 2013 at 10:50 pm

So the NFL is supposed to dumb down a standard IQ test for people who should really have no problems with basic aptitude/IQ tests?

Stop! Let me repeat that:

So Leftist “intellectuals” want us to believe that very basic IQ tests are just too hard for people who were supposed to have graduated college or, at the very least, should have had a good understanding of standardized testing in order to stay eligible and even go to college in the first place? I know we’re not talking about guys here who are going be splitting atoms, but to dumb down these kind of tests is just a testament to how progressively stupid society has become in the vacuum of equality.

Mr X on April 25, 2013 at 10:15 pm

Just watch any TV quiz show from the 1950’s. Contestants are asked questions they would never ask today. They might know the name of Paris Hilton’s dog but they would never know the names of rivers or mountain ranges…..The vacuum of equality indeed…

It appears to be a banner day of libs expressing the soft bigotry of low expectations (a phrase coined by Michael Gerson as the chief speechwriter for G.W. Bush). It was revealed today by Michael Graham on The New England Talk Network (radio)that an official of Worcester, the second largest city in Massachusetts, came out against the implementation of slot machines there, because it would negatively impact black people.

Nighthawk on April 26, 2013 at 12:09 am

Debbie I don’t think here’s any point in giving these tests to football players other than so the team knows how dumb their new players are. They’re going to take a player regardless but they like knowing if their rookies can read a contract before making an offer.

A1 on April 26, 2013 at 1:26 am

Dey aint got to read no contrak, dats fo dem lawyers to do….

This is just more pop culture bullshit, just like the “music” industry, the movies and all the Kardashians, Beibers, Honey Boo Boo, Jersey Shore, Lindsay Lohan and all the other whores and bullshit that the retards have thier minds on. This kind of shit is almost beneath notice, except you have to keep an eye on what the sheeple are doing because large numbers of stupid bastards can be dangerous. When the ancient Romans selected their entertainers for the arena, they probably weren’t looking for quality human beings, either. Just cannon fodder to use up for the entertainment of the cannon fodder in the stands, who were also eventually used up. Unless you have money invested in this shit, it is almost beneath your notice.

I just read that the CUD (Criminals’ Union of Detroit) is planning a protest demonstration because the laws are too favorable towards non-criminals.

Has everyone forgotten that these morons attended college?

Prometheus on April 26, 2013 at 8:41 am

I suggest that the NFL intelligence test be made mandatory for all prospective political office seekers. I wonder how many would pass?

Jerry G on April 26, 2013 at 9:13 am

@Jerry G–

As a resident of the DC area, I frequently hear from first-time visitors, who go see their representatives. Inevitably, their main impression is how stupid these people are.

Prometheus on April 26, 2013 at 9:20 am

I hear you loud and clear. EXACTLY my experience.

jack on April 26, 2013 at 11:16 am

i could care less how smart or dumb NFL players are… i’m shocked they even bother testing them. hell, they made it through college football programs- proving they can learn and remember the plays- what else do they need?

if the NFL really wanted to protect players’ from making bad life/financial decisions, maybe they would require players contribute a significant portion of their pay be put in a trust fund that they could begin drawing on, at predertimed levels, once they retire from playing.

again, not that i care if the players wind up broke or not…

kirche on April 26, 2013 at 9:44 am

Ahhhhhhh yes, the old The Deck Is Stacked So We Must Unstack It solution. Yes, all the INHERENT inequalities STILL in “the system” against the upward mobility of “minorities” (which now includes “the LGBT community”) can be fixed by a never ending series of societal manipulations.

Yes, we are A People Well Prepared For Slavery, as I’ve been saying for quite a while, and here we are!!! Another stellar example of how the left seeks to categorize and “corporatize” everything. I thought they hated corporations? Yet here they are using all sorts of similar criteria that corporations use in their hiring practices, and more, to socially engineer a GAME.

Yes, pro football is duly noted to be a business, but this is beyond ridiculous, as so much of our society has become. A beyond ridiculous political realm, professional realm, and culture. What’s left so save? This nation’s culture and practices of dealing with one another in business and socially have become a total toilet.

The posters who pointed out how stupid the whole culture and so many individuals have become is all too true. REMEMBER, WHERE ELSE could you hear The Speaker of The House, THIRD IN LINE, second after Vice President to succeed The President Of The United States, utter the words “we have to pass the bill, so we can know what’s in it.” Where else? Why, only in America.

And that’s the problem. We have become a caricature of ourselves, a laughing stock, and a nation not deserving of respect. THIS is the nation that is supposed to be the world leader??!!!?? Leader of what?!!!??? HYPOCRITES!!! And that is why this is The End of The Age. Because when The DisUnited Snakes of Amerika is carried out and laid to rest, the world will come unwraveled.

And every day, one of the best places to see it raw, the bare truth about what a bunch of immoral, dumb fucks we have become, is right here at Debbie’s web site. Is it any wonder we have no great leaders? FROM WHERE?!?!??!! The Hiltons, the Kardashians, The Smiths, The Joneses, name it. Where would they come from, these great leaders?

So, here we are every day, getting our collective American neck further and further through the noose that our own “leaders” are putting around our necks. And this article is a great example of the incessant march of multiculturalism.

Is it any wonder? I’ve been listening to the stuff in Debbie’s article since I was a kid growing up in the 60’s. And here those fucks are, finally running the show. The Fifth Column won, people, they won, just like Rush said. If you were alive during the 60’s, you can see it has really come true.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on April 26, 2013 at 10:25 am

What does this have to do with the NFL?

AR on April 28, 2013 at 1:11 pm

Infection. Debbie’s headline was about a Muslim attorney and the word “racist.” This is part of how the left has subverted our culture, divided and conquered us. I was just trying to point to how the general infection has hit all aspects of our culture, to the point where we can see it in the one thing truly as “American as apple pie,” NFL football.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on April 28, 2013 at 8:57 pm

I would like to see management and coaches tested. Have you seen some of the previous draft choices and play calling by coaches lately? Why don’t they test executives for banned substances and some of the other people in the front office that are there solely because they are in big daddy’s pocket or knows someone.

It is easy to see why 70% of NFL players are in financial distress when they leave. Most of them never have worked a day in their live and when they get to the league, they have no money management skills. If you cannot manage money when you are poor, then being wealthy will not change things. Factor in a percentage to an agent, unpaid capital gains taxes, helping out too many family members and friends, continual shopping sprees for luxury cars, jewelry, homes in gated communities, frivolous spending, buying worthless businesses, getting ripped off by financial planners, paying an entourage, legal fees for criminal defense and bearing 14 children for 14 different women, usually white women, because they are easily pimped, e.g, the Kardashians, then it is easy to see why they go broke. Also see Vince Young and Jamarcus Russel, which is arguably the worse player ever to dawn an NFL uniform, both signed for 63 million in ’07, both were cut in ’10 now both are broke. Young would spend 6 thousand a week at TGI Fridays. Jamarcus Russel would consume large quantities of “Purple Drank.” That is cough syrup with codiene. His Bay Area mansion foreclosed and hereportedly owens the franchise tax board over 200 (k). Why his was in the NFL is a mystery. This evidence why coaches and executives should likewise be tested.

As far as the Wonderlick, I took it two weeks ago. It is more difficult that you think. It had college level math, English and deductive reasoning.

AR on April 27, 2013 at 9:21 pm

Well, JaMarcus Russell reputedly could throw the ball 80 yards in the air. Yeah, that’s the ticket, LOL!!!

Speaking of deductive reasoning, excellent summary of the life of many young athletes, not just pro football guys, especially rip offs by financial planners and paying an entourage. Talk about frivolous spending!!! And whatever happened to the financial planning classes the NFL supposedly instituted when all the things pointed out by AR started being pointed out ohhhhhhhhhhh, 15 years ago?????????

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on April 28, 2013 at 9:25 am

Oh yeah, what game was this? He never did it at LSU or the Raiders. Go on Youtube and see Jamarcus Sacks Himself. Funnies damn thing in the world.

AR on April 28, 2013 at 7:43 pm

They do have classes. Washington had one, as I read, I believe in Sports Illustrated, and only 15 players showed up As Bill Parcells once put it, players always get into trouble in night clubs. See Ray Lewis and Plaxico Burris. I was watching an old video of Parcells, this was before they had the financial planning classes, and he would tell his players, “Simply put all of your earnings in the bank and do not touch it. Forget about investing. Simply sock it away in the bank and live off your signing bonus.”

Really, all they have to do is to set up some type of an annuity and then put some more money in safe investments, but the problem is that they buy mansions. When their career is over, their income, if they even have one if they have one, cannot support the life style, property taxes, maids, gardeners, people detailing their fleet of luxury cars, and doing dumb stuff like tipping 200 bucks to a bell hop.

Jim Otto, Raiders in the 60s-70s, bought a number of Burger Kings. A sound investment, that you have to work daily, but it is a steady stream of income post NFL.

Just thinking of past players, William Perry for example, he was one of the highest paid players of his era. He pretty much pissed and squandered his money as well. At the time, he had a very nice house in an exclusive neighborhood, I think N. Carolina, but through out the years, of being a lazy fat ass, he did not work and in a few years his money was gone. He house as well his health deteriorated. He cannot walk without the aid of someone or a walker. When they showed his house, the exterior looked like the front yard on Sanford and Son.

Another person that comes to mind is Dexter Mann of The Washington Redskins. I cannot say what his net worth is or is not, but I can tell you he is working in the same industry as I am, Marketing and lives somewhere near Silicon Valley.

Although Mike Webster, the longtime center for Pittsburg and KC, was one of the most decent players of all time, as a player and person, he ran into a set of circumstances that is truly sad. He suffered debilitating injuries, which the NFL does nothing medically after five years, and became addicted to pain killers for injuries caused while playing games for the NFL. He eventually lost his home and was literally on the streets and died at a very young age. His family was able to get mo. pension payments but it was too little, too late. The NFL has billions in its pension fund. They need to do more for players like Mike Webster. I am not putting him in the same category as others but it is just to show that it could go bad for good people.

It is good to know that a lot of them are dirt bags pre and post NFL. In fact many of them were on crime sprees before they even hit a college campus. The fact that they were lucky enough to hit the lottery will not change the fact that when they are released from a team, they will crash and burn hard from all the years of their stupidity.

AR on April 28, 2013 at 11:27 am

Yup, all too true, know all those stories and many others, some personally.

This is why the left is constantly wrong about every aspect of their ideology, and their blind spot with Islam, in particular. You CANNOT plug the human race in to some intellectually designed perfect “system of government” and expect better results than all the other systems which have failed, especially when that elusive attempt at “true socialism” has somehow always managed to go wrong.

HUMAN NATURE will ALWAYS emerge at some point, corruption at all levels of society. But they would rather bring society down, than admit they are wrong.
