VERY COOL: My EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS of US Armed Forces Celebrating Passover
Tonight at sundown, the Jewish holiday of Passover begins, and I’ll post more on that later. But, for now, check out the photos below from my private collection of Jewish U.S. militaria. Wherever our U.S. Armed Forces are serving, Jewish-American soldiers are proudly serving among them and also celebrating Passover. The first pic features U.S. Army soldiers (including female soldiers) celebrating the Passover Seder (ceremonial dinner) in Yokohama, Japan, on April 2nd or 3rd, 1950. The second is a pic of Jewish-American soldiers serving in the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF)–the U.S. Armed Forces in World War I, as they hold their Passover Seder in France in Paris, France in April 1919. The photo was taken by U.S. Army Private L. Cohen.
