DISGUSTING: Florida Atlantic U Class Ordered Students to “Stomp” on Jesus; Prof is Dem Party Vice Chair; Student Suspended for Refusing
Florida Atlantic University student Ryan Rotela says his instructor, Dr. Deandre J. Poole, ordered him and other classmates to write the name “JESUS” in bold letters on a sheet of paper and stomp on it. This was for an “intercultural communications course,” whatever the heck that means. (Is this how one “interculturally communicates”: “No, you di’in’t” and “You know datz right”? Just askin’.) When Rotela, a Mormon refused, he was suspended from the class. Yup, ladies and gentleman, this is what your $30,000 a year Kollidg Edjakayshun gets you, these days.
Deandre Poole, Ph.D. in Jesus-Stomping & Intolerance for Christianity & Dem Party Official
Oh, and did I mention that Dr. Poole, who has a Ph.D. from Howard University (where you can apparently get a meaningless doctorate in Jesus-Stompin’) is also the Vice-Chairman of the Palm Beach County Democratic Party, a fact noted by reader Duane, but not noted in a single press report. Hmmm . . . . Watch the video.
Reader Duane:
Would FAU defend the decision if he had them draw a picture of Mohammed and stomp on it? Of course not. That would have been a hate-crime that required not only his being fired, and banished forever from teaching.
SPOT ON. Only Christianity and Judaism are openly mocked and attacked in these ivory-towered havens of “free expression of ideas.”
By the way, if you want to contact professor Poole and let him know what you think of his “tolerance” for Christians, his e-mail address is: dpoole3@fau.edu or deandrepoole@yahoo.com. I hope that Ryan Rotela sues FAU and Poole. There are several blatant First Amendment violations here.
Here is Prof. Poole’s bio, which reads like he’s a scholar in race merchantry and victimhood–and check out that book he’s writing:
PhD, Howard University
Areas of Specialization: Intercultural Communication, Leadership and Communication, Political Communication
Deandre Poole teaches courses in intercultural communication, ethnicity and communication, leadership and communication, and organizational communication. His research focuses on the role mediated messages play in shaping individual attitudes and beliefs concerning issues of justice and inequality, and examines how leaders, organizations, and other influential authorities dominate and oppress marginalized groups of people. Currently, he is authoring the book, Obamamania: The Rise of a Mythical Hero, to be published by the Edwin Mellen Press. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Poole is actively engaged in various community service projects throughout Palm Beach County.
Hmmm . . . I wonder what his religion is.

He’d have ordered Jewish students to stomp on a Torah scroll, too.
The only thing I’m sure of he would never do is order Muslim students to burn a Koran.
PC nutcases in our universities are sniveling cowards who seek out safe targets to ridicule.
College tuition, adjusted for inflation, doesn’t buy a lot these days.
