Drug abuse, promiscuous sex and crime is fun are the “new” norms being pushed out in the pop culture to tween and teen girls.

That’s Hollywood’s take on adolescent character these days. No Islamic terrorist could damage us as much we damage ourselves.

And in the Islamic World, they look on this stuff as proof of our cultural and moral decline. More proof if you needed it, the America we all used to know died last November and isn’t coming back.

More to the point, conservatives have lost the culture wars and a country full of broken homes, absent fathers and damaged kids are now the future. Gay marriage and what not is just the cherry on the cake.

With “Seventeen” who needs Islamic terrorists?

Well, per one of the articles listed on the cover of the magazine, my periods are freaky!

We have all seen Vanessa Hudgens goodies, and now that Selena Gomez is “getting neked” we get to see what Justin Bieber was pretending to see.

What is it with all of these Disney kids? They all grow up to be obsessed with sex, or they go crazy (You go, Britney!), or they have legal problems of some sort or another.

Of course, Old Man Disney was an anti-Semite, and admirer of Hitler, and for breakfast he used to dunk his donuts into a coffee cup filled with whiskey.

That reminds me of a Gilbert Gotfried joke. Mickey Mouse is talking to his psychiatrist and says, “No, doctor, I didn’t say Minnie was crazy. I said she was f.cking Goofy!!”

No offense to Norman F, but let’s not blame gay marriage for the moral decline. In my opinion, worse things are to blame.

I’ve seen the red-band trailer an I’m surprised that it hasn’t been rated NC-17. Of course, if cuts were made to earn this flick an “R”, I’d sure as f*** would not want to know what was excised.

To take the “devil’s advocate” position, this movie is a re-boot of all those grindhouse/exploitation features that were shown in the 60s and 70s – “Faster Pussycat… Kill Kill” and “Valley of the Dolls” were prime examples of the genre. Of course, given the lowering of standards and the pornographication of entertainment, throwing youngsters into the mix appeared to be the next step.

What’s next for Seventeen? I don’t even bother reading the rag, let alone check what’s up. Maybe become Cosmo for tweens? Yuck.

For all his moral lapses, Old Man Disney promoted safe family fun and clean wholesome entertainment. That was in Disney’s Golden Age when you knew exactly what to expect.

Nowadays Disney is simply a training ground for hot n heavy adult fun.

The Old Man is rolling over in his grave. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy can never look on life with complete innocence again!

My daughter used to watch Hannah Montana years ago and I told my wife we she shouldn’t allow her to watch. So she asked my why and I predicted that as soon as Cyrus grows up her whole act would become sexually charged. It’s become so predictable for these young actresses. There are exceptions, but that’s the current trend. Now my daughter is 11 and THANK G-D we don’t have TV and she doesn’t watch any of that trash. She barely knows about the trash and isn’t interested.

The Disney Channel shows are tame – I have cable here. As long you know these young actors aren’t role models for kids, you know Disney is selling them a fantasy world.

One that increasingly has nothing in common with real-life America.

“Fantasia” seems so far away now when you put it like that!

It was far and away the finest Disney animated length feature I’ve ever seen and the classical music score is simply out of this world.

From beautiful music to sluts and I don’t think our culture is more evolved than it was in the 1940s.

Decency, it seems, is too demanding a standard for young people to live up to in our time.

I hope this glorified porn film tanks and becomes the “Showgirls” of the talentless “Disney” retreads starring in it. I hope it ends the talentless careers of the hopelessly banal and plain Selena Gomez and the annoying and no-talent bag of crap known as Vanessa Hudgens. They both were Disney stars for a reason. Have you ever tortured yourself with the horrendous overacting anything “Disney” has to offer? DS calls her Miley Virus for a very good reason…

The filming of this disgusting film as been chronicled from the get-go for some insane reason and you have to have had half of your small brain chomped on by Zombies to think this film is “edgy” when it’s been nothing but a glorified smut exercise from day one. I already thought it had come and gone by now because I heard so many pompous pukings on how fricken’ “edgy” it is. Keep peeing on my leg and telling me it’s raining, Hollywood whores.

I know Steubenville is back in the news and a piece of sh** film like this will only prime the pump for more silly girls letting themselves get absolute blotto so they can feel “loved” by a bunch of animal “boys” who don’t even respect them (or themselves) and use them as a cheap, sexual release to be used and destroyed. That’s teen life in 2013. It’s absolute PITCH!

I am so nauseous! I wish assholes like Mayor Bloomberg would use his time to speak out against trash like this instead of trying to ban large cups of soda. Same goes for those in government that want to ban people’s right to protect themselves with fire arms. It is the Hollywood violence and porn that is bringing our country down, more than anything else. Shame on Selena Gomez and all those other slutty actresses. Shame on Hollywood. Shame on our leaders who look the other way!

This movie is a parody of the Sluts Gone Wild video genre.

Its not like Hollywood has any interesting fare to offer but a rip off of equally trashy spring break videos of young women cavorting naked on the beach, lots of drinking and slutty fun.

There’s a market for this kinda stuff and its a reflection on the country’s IQ or rather the lack of it.

I can’t bear to read more than your headline Debbie – and please be careful about what you let inside your head – it all makes connections, and strengthens existing ones. But, from the headline, this is something else that spits right in the face of the moral values taught in the Inspired Scriptures.

Who, therefore, is behind it? Who is pulling the strings?

Who was it who wanted us to rebel against God’s moral standards in Eden?

And, to save Moishe having to email, I clearly do not mean “the Jews”. Why would “the Jews” be promoting something that attacked the moral values of the Hebrew Scriptures?!

I mean the powers clearly identified in Ephesians 6:11,12, “the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places”.

We need to understand who really rules the world, because otherwise we – the children of Adam – turn on each other.

Let’s not forget that this type of trash, whyen influencing young minds that it’s “O.K.” to have sex, booze, drugs, repulsive language, etc. “Everyone does it.” I’m sure the planned parenthood people look upon these kids – pre-teen and ‘tween – as “Pre-abortion. The market for the abortion industry is being created for them, and they don’t have to spend a dime on advertising. aelcome to the New World Order where the “Haves” are forced to support the “Have nots,” in the name of “Fairness.” My kids will be supporting this trash in a few years. ………and what happens when the “Haves” run out of “Have?” The sheeple better wake up to what is happening in our country. Between a dumbing down of the quality our politicians, (Franken, Wasserman/Schultz, Boxer, etc) a state run media, the creation of a permanent underclass, government/union schools inhabited by kids who don’t want to learn and “Teachers” who are not capable of teaching, our military being slowly decimated, the continual dumbing down of society by the media, etc. Everyone should just read – and understand – the Ten Commandments. That is, the minority of us who can read.

Wow, really good article. I’d never have come across this filth without reading this article. Sickening, and further proof of what my own son has said about his generation of 18-25 year olds. They are wastes of time and space. Too many cable t.v. shows, single moms, and irresponsible male examples. But the media is also out for blood with their future. It’s something that happened to the romans toward the end, super.

When I was 17, back in 1964, SEVENTEEN really was for the 17-21 year readership. They did a College issue every September and chose 10 nice, wholesome girls, who were starting colleges all over the country and featured them. What a difference between those covers and this one.

I couldn’t find the Sept. ’64 issue but here’s Nov. This is not to defend the mag. not in the least but to bring home how things have changed.

In our celebrity obsessed culture is it any wonder that these so called good girls become slutty as they get older. As the father of a young daughter I find this trash outrageous!! I want my daughter to have respect for herself and show it inside and out. Young girls need to be taught that they don’t need to bare all and act like trash in order to get attention and that when they do some of the attention they will receive will be negative.

The people at Disney are morally bankrupt like the rest of Hollywood and somehow think their “bottom line” (pun intended) is improved if nobody has any morals, no matter how young you are, or respect for themselves, their parents and their futures.
Somebody wrote this crap and then were able to find producers to flesh out a whole useless movie for the masses. It’s really a mirror of their own filthy useless mind. Somehow something APPROPRIATE and CREATIVE isn’t worth the investment? How depressing!

While it is clear everyone who has responded to this article is enraged about the lack of morals surrounding the movie of discussion, I was more disgusted with the comment about Selena Gomez’ mother. “Star Selena Gomez … was born to her single mother when her mother was just 15 years old. And apparently her mother never learned to be anything more than a womb donor and a “best friend” to her meal-ticket spawn. Now her daughter wants to promote the same kind of behavior to the rest of America through this very apparently crappy movie.” Umm.. excuse me? I thought this was a movie review, not a direct attack against a single mother. I believe the fact that Selena Gomez was born to a single mother at a young age (may I add, this is a situation you know nothing about) is not the reason for moral decline. In fact, those of you preaching for a better nation or for more God need to look at your own hands. “A meal-ticket spawn” is that the way you would describe an infant born to a struggling young mother? That reminds me of a story actually… check Luke 1:26. I don’t think you would use that phrase if you stepped off your high horse and had grace for a single mother. And also in the comment you added she never amounted more than to being Selena’s “best friend.” I’m sorry, but what is wrong with that exactly? There is something wrong with you if you don’t believe having a good relationship with your children is healthy. While there lies a line between parenting and maintaining a close relationship with your child, the latter should not be ignored. I encourage everyone to spend time with your children and shape them into well-adjusted moral people and not waste your time entertaining yourself with this trash. And instead of hiding this “culture” from your children, expose them to it and teach them right and wrong. They can’t be hidden from it forever, and once they are out on their own and discover this lifestyle, it will never be more appealing.
