VIDEO: Arab on Camel Wins Coke Chase After All – Neat “Bait & Switch” Trick
Over the last few days, we’ve been following complaints by those in the pro-HAMAS/Hezbollah Arab and Muslim victimhood outfits over the Coke Super Bowl ad featuring an Arab on a Camel in the desert. They complained that not only was the Arab a “negative stereotype” but that Coke didn’t allow viewers to vote for the Arab to win the desert race to get a Coca-Cola to drink. But, then, after whining by these groups, Coke caved and said it was giving the Arab a bigger role that had yet to be unveiled. Well, it was all a bait and switch, a big trick. You see, while Coke viewers voted among Cowboys, Showgirls, and “Badlanders”–and the Showgirls ostensibly won the Super Bowl viewer vote–the Arab (whom Coke has named “Kalaharian”) was the winner all along. He has a Coke in an ice chest. And while the others race past him and his camel, he has “The Last Laugh” in this video that Coke showed to the Arab victimhood pimps and which ran during the Super Bowl and was unveiled on YouTube the day before.
Hey, this is kind of like the Iranian elections. People vote for the other choices, and the ayatollahs’ choice gets “elected” anyway. Same deal in Egypt, where the Christians’ votes just aren’t counted by the Brotherhood.
So, now, that the Arab on the camel has beaten American cowboys and showgirls, should we whine that Coke is “raaaacist!” against White, non-Arabs and that the soft drink company has portrayed us as fools who can’t win even when we win because we’re beaten even before we start by far more clever Arabs in the desert? Should we demand an “ongoing dialogue” with Coke execs and shake Coca-Cola down? After all, everyone in the ad is an indecent trickster, and the Arab is the only honest, decent, smart guy in the bunch. . . in The World According to Coke.
Well, most Americans aren’t in the whining and shakedown industries and don’t want to add to the cost of a Coke.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t point out what utter dhimmis those who head Coca-Cola are. All you need is to watch “The Last Laugh” video above. And you get the point. It’s not that Coke is “racist” against Arabs, as the whiners alleged. (In fact, in these ads, Coke ultimately elevates them above everyone else, including the evil, great Satan: American cowboys.)
It’s that Coke is a corporation that worships at the altar of profits above all. And the growing profits it sees come out of dhimmi behavior toward the Middle East and most of its occupants and emigrants to America.
One other thing: note that this video is on YouTube and ran during the Super Bowl, but NOT on the CokeCase.com website, where a video asking “Who Won the Race?” is posted. It appears that Coke is trying to have it both ways and trick everyone.
What ever happened to the good old days when Coke ads were cute scenarios, like Mean Joe Green giving his jersey to a young fan who gave Green his Coke?
Those days are sadly gone.
Mean Joe Green, OUT. Arabian Nights fantasy, IN!
Watch the original Coke Chase ad that teased and tricked:
Watch the Coke Chase ad revealing the “winner”:

It’s been years since I’ve seen it but in the Mean Joe Green ad so maybe I’m wrong- wasn’t the kid giving Joe his Coke to cheer him up because Joe was injured (or lost the game) and Joe gives the kid his jersey as a thanks?
I really thought the showgirls on the bus was a take on “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.” But then again, they were real women, not men in drag. Now THAT would have been a funny commercial. 🙂
J: Yup, your memory is far better than my own. Fixed. And, yes, it was a take on the “Priscilla” movie. DS
