Wall St. Journal Urges You to Visit the Hezbollah Museum for Fun & Adventure
Why is the Wall Street Journal urging readers to have “Adventure & Travel” and “Study Middle Eastern politics . . . Bond-style” at the Hezbollah Museum in Lebanon? The Jihadi Tourism Industry is alive and well, with the help of a supposedly pro-Western, “American” newspaper. I waited to see if anyone would write a letter to the editor to complain, but not a single one has been published.
Far too many Americans have forgotten that Hezbollah murdered more than 300 U.S. Marines and Embassy Officials in Beirut in 1983, and that Hezbollah tortured and trampled to death Navy Diver Robert Dean Stethem during the Hezbollah hijacking TWA Flight 847. They have also forgotten that Hezbollah also tortured and murdered William Buckley, the Beirut CIA Station Chief, and Col. William R. “Rich” Higgins, a U.S. Marine and a U.N. Peacekeeper, and that Hezbollah aided and abetted Al-Qaeda in the murders of countless more Americans at the Khobar Towers, in bombings in Iraq, and in countless other terrorist operations. Hezbollah is not just an anti-Semitic and anti-Israel organization. It’s an anti-American one.
And, yet, on Saturday, on the Wall Street Journal’s “Adventure & Travel” page, reporter Lucy Knight, urges readers to visit the Hezbollah Museum with its many exhibits hailing the Islamic terrorist group’s acts of terrorist against America, Israel, Christians, and Jews. Ms. Knight, in an article entitled “Only In . . . Lebanon,” tells readers of “Five unique, occasionally weird things that you can do around Beirut and nowhere else.” Number three on the list is: “Study Middle Eastern politics in a Bond-style mountaintop lair.”

That “Bond-style lair” is the Hezbollah Museum, which I’ve previously written about on this site and noted that American tax dollars may have funded it. And this isn’t the first time the Wall Street Journal has sung the praises of this “museum,” though the previous occasion was a little more objective. It’s also known as the Mleeta Resistance Tourist Landmark, and Ms. Knight finds it “fascinating,” telling readers that they will, too. Even more disgusting, Ms. Knight makes up an imaginary quote for a Hezbollah Museum tour guide:
Everyone’s opinion does count, but you came here to know the truth.
In other words, this museum by terrorists and honoring terrorists who murdered hundreds to thousands of Americans has the truth. Everything else is just opinion. Sickening.
You won’t be able to “study Middle Eastern politics” at this propaganda house, contrary to Ms. Knight’s assertion. The only thing you’ll see there is the terrorist mass murderers’ point of view. And its status as “only in Lebanon” is also false as there are museums honoring terrorist scumbags in Iran, Egypt, and plenty of other places throughout the Islamic world.
The Wall Street Journal’s Lucy Knight includes not a single comment against Hezbollah or about what Hezbollah did. There’s no mention of the Americans tortured to death and/or blown up by Hezbollah. No mention of the many attacks on Israel. Not a single hint of the organization’s founding and funding by Iran. Nope. It’s just a cool “James Bond lair,” where you’d love to hang out. As you know, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal now owns almost ten percent of the Wall Street Journal and is the single largest individual shareholder in the paper after members of the Murdoch family. And while he’s a Sunni and this is a Shi’ite terrorist group’s museum, the prince and the museum have similar interests: a hatred of Israel and America.
Memo to Al-Qaeda: build your Museum of the Magnificent Hijackers and Murderers of the Evil Americans quickly. And then invite the Wall Street Journal and Lucy Knight to cover it. I’m sure they’ll say it’s very Jason Bourne-esque.
Who needs Islamic terrorism propaganda machines, when we have the Wall Street Journal Adventure & Travel page?

Curious timing for this puff-piece — right when Hezbollah apparently is seeking to obtain Russian missiles, Syrian biological weapons, etc.
Israel may have found it necessary to prevent this from happening, but of course seeing this Truthful Museum is more important than any of those things.
Just like all the tours and visits to Germany and Italy during the 30s. Same people, same puff-pieces.
