Merry Christmas From Bentley: Luxe Carmaker Fires Christian Chaplain b/c He Might Offend Muslims

By Debbie Schlussel

Some of the biggest customers of luxury automaker Bentley are Muslim sheikhs and oil barons. Now, apparently, many of Bentley’s workers are Muslim, too. And the company decided to fire its longtime Christian chaplain because he might offend Muslims by his very existence. Think this can’t or won’t happen here in the United States? Think again. It already has. And here’s a preview of more to come from the United Kingdom (of Islamistan). The article doesn’t mention the religion question, but despite the obvious tiptoeing around, we know exactly which religion it is:

Bentley: Official Luxury Car of the Jihad

Every week for ten years the Rev Francis Cooke visited the shop floor at Bentley, offering counselling and advice to the luxury car maker’s workers.

But only days before Christmas he has been made redundant because the company says he might offend non-Christians.

Fired Bentley Chaplain Rev. Francis Cooke, Terminated b/f Christmas b/c he Might Offend Muslims

It said there were too many religions represented among the 4,000-strong workforce at its factory to warrant a Christian chaplain.

Mr Cooke called the decision ‘ridiculous’ and said he spoke to workers of all faiths.

Staff have started a campaign to reinstate the vicar, who they said was an ‘important figure’ who had even helped one employee who had been on the brink of suicide.

Mr Cooke was directly employed by Bentley – it would pay the Diocese of Chester, which would then transfer the funds to the chaplain.

He had outside roles, but this was his only paid work.

He said: ‘It is just beyond belief. The reason I have been given is that there are too many people of different faiths to warrant a Christian chaplain. Everyone thinks it is quite ridiculous. There have been no complaints against me and my position is to help people and not just those who are Christians.’

He said he had been told to leave immediately after bosses said they needed to take a ‘multi-faith outlook’.

Yay! Let’s hear it for multi-culturalism. How’s that workin’ for ya?

He would visit the factory in Crewe, Cheshire, once a week for six hours, and also ran Christian courses and wrote a message in the firm’s newsletters.

‘It is not just about offering religious services,’ he said. ‘I provide counselling to workers who have stresses at home such as broken marriages. I would spend a few minutes with each person which would be enough to help them feel better.

‘I feel that there is something else behind this.’

Yup, that “something else” is called Islam.

A Bentley Motors spokesman said: ‘We have a wide range of faiths and want to take a multi-faith outlook. It would be very difficult to have somebody from each faith.

‘This now gives us the opportunity to look at this and recognise the range of faiths we have here.’

Translation: We’ve capitulated to Islam. Christians need not apply.

Merry Christmas, Love, Bentley.

Thanks to reader Peter for the tip.

My question is has this guy contacted the “American Humanists Association” or any secular group about this issue of him being quasi persecuted from his job because he might offend non-christians employees (ie, muslim employees)?

This is just wrong, this man can sue this organization for violating his own civil rights, had this been the other way around, where a muslim was fired from his or her because it might offend non-muslims, all of the arab and muslim lobbying groups in this country would be all over the story like flies on a dead carcass!

The Bentley plant must have been a real “class act” at one time to have had a chaplain. I worked for Buick in Flint and we didn’t have one. Looking back on those days, I think we could have used one. I wonder what the Bentley “community”, those who drive (and can afford) Bentleys would think of this? I’ve never ridden in one, the only places I have ever seen them were the Detroit auto show and, believe it or not, someone had on parked in front of the post office in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They are quite impressive, a work of art. But, when the rest of our civilization is gone, they will be gone, too. Right down the drain, along with the chaplain.

As goes, so goes... on December 24, 2012 at 3:50 pm

This should also tell anyone thinking of buying a new car. Just like people should generally avoid Muslim doctors…

Little Al on December 24, 2012 at 4:04 pm

The Bentley is a beautiful car, but I don’t know what to make of this. I gather Henry Ford did not much care for Jews and my in-laws (old Detroit Jews) would never drive a Ford, not any of their friends. This has indeed become perverse…..

#1 Vato, I highly recommend that you review the story about the Ford Motor Company in the Dec. 4, 2012 edition of the JTA. In that publication, it points out that since 1977, Ford has especially reached out to the Jewish community. In fact, the heir apparent to the current Chairman of Ford, Allan Mulally, is Mark Field. F.Y.I., Mr. Field is Jewish.

A good ole boy pickup with a rack full of rifles sounds good to me. Throw in some Berettas too.

Confederate South on December 24, 2012 at 5:00 pm

Excellent idea for all! I highly recommend the new Beretta 9mm Nano – with the extended magazine which holds eight rounds (+ one in the pipe.) The extended mag also gives a better grip – even with my small hand. The standard six round mag leaves your pinkie floating in the air. Beretta recommends 124 grain ammo……good quality ammo. I spoke to Beretta since there is a debate on the internet over 115 grain vs. 124 grain. Bottom line from Beretta……the Nano is built for 124 grain. The Nano is great for daily carry. A happy and healthy New Year to all!

Britain – the country that destroyed itself.

Nir Leiu on December 24, 2012 at 5:18 pm

DS, you coined another great one…the UK of Islamistan! Love it and I will use it too (with credit to you).

The UK is becoming a disgusting pile of Islamo-pandering crap. I can barely stand it anymore. I never want to go there and I will never have an affinity for it again.

If we weren’t doing the same crap (at a slower speed) I’d delight in the just desserts coming up for those insane Poms. Yucko!

Skunky on December 24, 2012 at 6:08 pm

Many famous black celebrities/sports athletes drive Bentleys.

How ironic.

Skunky on December 24, 2012 at 6:10 pm

Yeah Skunky a great deal of them do drive Bentleys. This is just another reason why most of the black celebs/athletes are brain dead morons.

    Ken b on December 24, 2012 at 10:18 pm

Yes Skunky. The best way to show diversity is to boot out the chaplain. Also, we do not wish to offend. Yes, it seems that they only care about not offending one group. If Bently is unionized, the members should be able to file a grievance. Also, it might be time to see a solicitor who specializes in civil rights cases. Let Bently feel some real pressure. If you want to suck up to Islam and penalize others, it is time that you start paying for it.

I really like the Bentley Continental GT but now that I know this, I will never purchase one of their products. BethesdaDog on December 24, 2012 at 8:56 pm

OK. Bentley, a traditional British firm, just fired its Church of England pastor who functioned largely as an EAP (Employee Assistance Program), and was basically an old school “Jeeves and Wooster” type of guy.

England does have an “Established Church,” right? Archbishop of Canterbury and all that? I mean, our “Establishment” clause was not meant to make the public square atheistic, but to prevent “Established” churches, right? So, what the..?

The more I read of England, the more I think of 1984 and the “Thought Police” agent telling Winston and Julia, “You are the Dead.” Dead men walking.

      No doubt, squire.

Every day, I think about my medical school at Galveston, and its port, with its Mickey Mouse Security, and Texas City, across Galveston Bay, and its vulnerable refineries. And then I think about where the worst man-made and natural disasters in the US occurred before Katrina and 9/11. And then I think about the traitor in the White House, the SECOND one in US history, and I worry. (Carter was an incompetent, but became a traitor after the White House. The man who no doubt was a traitor through and through was John Tyler. A Democrat.)

Bentley had a Christian chaplain on their payroll? I’d live to see what other nonsense this company is spending its money on. Now I know why these beautiful cars are so damn expensive. Sure my taxes would go up regardless of Obama or Boehner’s plan, but spending $300k+ on a ride seems outrageous to me! I guess I’ll have to stick to my Bavarian engineered car for the time being!

Little Al on December 25, 2012 at 7:27 am

Even if I had the money I wouldn’t purchase a Bentley. Maybe I’d get a custom made Gremlin but whatever. This is just company that I give two shi’ites about capitulating to the wonderful religion of Islam. The firing of Reverend Cooke is a shameful disgrace and he should press forward with some sort of legal action. Suing this stupid company should shine more light on their idiocy. And as for the dopey muslims who were offended by this chaplan being there. You thinned skin jackenapes can all piss off.

Ken b on December 24, 2012 at 10:35 pm

Given that the Bentley is more of a status symbol car which can only be afforded by the sheikhs, it’s probably inevitable that this should have happened. The company should follow its logical progression and move to Dubai or the neighborhood.

Debbie, I use UK to stand for ‘Ummah Kaliphate’, given stories like this, and another about a council deciding that all tombstones are to face Mecca, while commodes cannot. That country is lost to bilad ul Kafir (lands of infidels)

Infidel on December 24, 2012 at 10:58 pm

And the idea of boycotting Bentley is not just because of their kowtowing to Muslims. That is why I brought up the Muslim doctors. We know that such doctors often don’t give ideal medical care, and that this well can be intentional, especially in the case of Jewish patients, as has been written about on this blog.

Similarly, I was suggesting that Muslims at Bentley could sabotage the cars. Don’t unions do the same thing sometimes?

Little Al on December 25, 2012 at 2:22 am

DS:

You continue to demonstrate how the clueless gentiles keep striving to ingratiate themselves with the sleazy, deceitful, and murderous thugs called Muslims.

Images of Muslims vendors and hoteliers gleefully reaping the economic benefits of Christmas in West Bank’s Bethlehem prove conclusively that Muslims are not offended neither by Christianity, nor by Christmas.

Despite Pope Benedict’s shamelessly siding with the Muslim savages in Gaza, the Muslims are not cutting Christians any slack: persecution and intimidation of Christians, raping and conversion of Christian women, and destruction of Churches continues unabated throughout the Islamic world.

The problem seems to be that large amounts of fecal matter have been mysteriously lodged deeply in the brains of gentiles. How else would you account for their lunacy?

It is indeed going to get worse, because the Christian church refuses to take a stand. More to come from the post-Christian post-modern world.

Well, its Christmas, er uh, sorry, I meant Winter Holiday. Let the anti-Christian festivities begin. Muslims, atheists, Hollywood, MSM, ACLU, SPL, and other assorted Leftist pigs… hit the blogosphere with your vile comments. Keep pretending Christians are and were Nazis. Keep it comin’ @ssholes keep it comin’ for one day revenge will pay you a visit. Keep assaulting traditional American values and customs showing yourselves to be the real aliens and enemies within. Someday we’ll return your acts of kindness and unleash a hell on you that you wont forget. So keep it up pigs. Its Christmas.

Oh, and be sure to rush out to see Dejango Unleashed today. A Christmas gift from the demonically twisted mind of Quentin Terantino. Courtesy of your anti-Christ friends in Hollywood. Take the kids. Enjoy.

traditional American on December 25, 2012 at 1:06 pm

    Hey traditional American,
I’d rather watch a movie like “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” than any garbage from the overrated Quentin Tarantino.

    Ken b on December 25, 2012 at 2:47 pm

T.A., Thank you for your nauseating antisemitism. It is because of the likes of you that the United States is falling apart. You are no better than Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan in terms of your values and beliefs. White supremacist groups tend to be rather friendly towards Islam and Muslims, since they share their profound dislike of Blacks and loathing of Jews.

You are indeed nothing more than social refuse. As for being a traditional American, you would know nothing about such things. Finally, any adult who would take their child to such a movie(they could not enter on their own), is quite worthless.

If you have ever visited this blog more than once, Debbie has consistently disparaged the worst that Hollywood has put out. What you should ask is how are the Gentiles who watch movies like Dejango any better than the Jews who might have financed or produced it? You position is quite like a John who has a superiority complex over the prostitute he purchased for an evening. He is no better than she is, and is perhaps quite a bit worse. Try Stormfront next time.

This is the wailing and gnashing of teeth as spoken of in Hell. However, one doesn’t have to go to Hell. Here it is, at Bentley. Capitalism at its most egg-suckingly vile. Before they know it they will learn that EVERYONE at Bentley offends Muslims and they will be extinct. The company might go on, owned and run by Muslims. Won’t that be peachy?
Muslims are a joke.
Islam is poison.

Pray Hard on December 25, 2012 at 5:49 pm

New UK demographic stats were just released: the Muslim population there almost doubled from 1.5 to 2.7 million from 2001 to 2011. That represents 4.8% of the population, up from 3% in 2001 (and that’s not counting illegals, of course).

http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/3511/britain-muslim-population-doubles

We can safely assume that the UK has or will soon pass the 5% Muslim threshold. In the US, that would be the equivalent of 16 or 17 million rather than the 3 to 4 million currently here.

Not hard to predict that by 2020, the UK Muslim population will be in the range of 7%.

They don’t run the place, yet, but they will certainly begin to influence the outcome of elections, social policy, law, etc.

adam on December 25, 2012 at 6:48 pm

I’m curious as to whether it is customary in the UK to have chaplains in business environments. In the U.S. it is common for a company to provide employee assistance programs (EAP) where the company’s insurer pays for a limited number of visits with pre-approved psychologists, but I don’t know of any business that employs a chaplain (and I’m not talking about the military). While I disagree with firing a chaplain of long standing to capitulate to Muslims, unless having a company chaplain is customary and common in the U.K. I don’t see this as being such a big deal. That said, if it IS a common practice in the U.K., it will be interesting to see how other companies react to this. Perhaps this is just one more front in the Islamic War on the West.

Overall, it frightens me to see how the Muslims are infiltrating Western society and how the Christians, Jews and atheists among us are just bending over for them.
