Quote of the Day: Ariel Sharon’s Son Said What?

By Debbie Schlussel

We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.

Gilad Sharon

As I’ve said repeatedly on this site during each of Israel’s major responses to HAMAS terrorism–in 2006, 2008/9, and so on, it’s a waste of time, unless Israel finally flattens the terrorists of Gaza. And, I mean, really flattens them by destroying most, if not all, of the place. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of time, because they will refresh, regroup, reload, and continue their non-stop rocketing of missiles on Israel, as they’ve done every single day for years, but the media don’t report about it. And I have a feeling that this time won’t be different. There will ultimately be a ceasefire, and HAMAS will live for yet another of many days to keep attacking Israel.

Unlike his own ultimately peacenik father, Ariel Sharon’s son, Gilad Sharon, agrees with me. He has it right. If only his father hadn’t abandoned Gaza to the Palestinians, this problem wouldn’t be happening in the first place. More from the Sharon son:

The desire to prevent harm to innocent civilians in Gaza will ultimately lead to harming the truly innocent: the residents of southern Israel. The residents of Gaza are not innocent, they elected Hamas. The Gazans aren’t hostages; they chose this freely, and must live with the consequences.

The Gaza Strip functions as a state – it has a government and conducts foreign relations, there are schools, medical facilities, there are armed forces and all the other trappings of statehood. We have no territorial conflict with “Gaza State,” and it is not under Israeli siege – it shares a border with Egypt. Despite this, it fires on our citizens without restraint.

Why do our citizens have to live with rocket fire from Gaza while we fight with our hands tied? Why are the citizens of Gaza immune? If the Syrians were to open fire on our towns, would we not attack Damascus? If the Cubans were to fire at Miami, wouldn’t Havana suffer the consequences? That’s what’s called “deterrence” – if you shoot at me, I’ll shoot at you. There is no justification for the State of Gaza being able to shoot at our towns with impunity. We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.

There should be no electricity in Gaza, no gasoline or moving vehicles, nothing. Then they’d really call for a ceasefire.

Were this to happen, the images from Gaza might be unpleasant – but victory would be swift, and the lives of our soldiers and civilians spared.

IF THE government isn’t prepared to go all the way on this, it will mean reoccupying the entire Gaza Strip. Not a few neighborhoods in the suburbs, as with Cast Lead, but the entire Strip, like in Defensive Shield, so that rockets can no longer be fired.

There is no middle path here – either the Gazans and their infrastructure are made to pay the price, or we reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip. Otherwise there will be no decisive victory. And we’re running out of time – we must achieve victory quickly. The Netanyahu government is on a short international leash. Soon the pressure will start – and a million civilians can’t live under fire for long. This needs to end quickly – with a bang, not a whimper.

As I said and have said over and over, Israel will stop short of this. And HAMAS will merely reload for another day, while it rains rockets on Israel, daily. The only way to stop this once and for all is to turn Gaza into a parking lot. And Israel will never do that. It doesn’t have the guts. And even if it did, America and the rest of the world would never allow Israel to do it to their precious HAMAS Nazis.

Again, if Gilad Sharon’s father hadn’t turned Gaza over to the Palestinians, this problem wouldn’t exist–or, at least, would be much, much smaller–today.

If Israel doesn’t flatten Gaza, the problem will last forever. . . or until all the Jews and Christians are gone from Israel.

It boggles the mind that Gilad Sharon wrote this. He, together with his father’s Rasputin, Duby Weisglass, was the mastermind behind the whole disengagement. He’s the one who convinced his ultimately jelly-spined father to carry out the disengagement in the first place. A recent book by two highly reputed journalists in Israel shows that Sharon was weak willed and easily swayed by his lawyer, Weisglass, and his son Gilad.

Ruchie Avital on November 21, 2012 at 2:32 am

wow, great to know sharon had a proper-thinking grandson.

leveling gaza… cleaning it out completely and announcing to the world it’s been taken in war and is now the sovereign territory of israel is the only way to stop the rockets. it will signal to the world the new, and just, minimum standard of safety from israel. on the heels of this, warn egypt to crack down in the sinai – pronto – and give them a specific definition of what this demand is (no AQ training camps, no smuggling tunnels and an egyptian security force dedicated to keeping it this way) and a deadline to complete it. if not, israel retakes the sinai since the treaty was broken and it again becomes a legitimate spoil of war.

kirche on November 19, 2012 at 1:50 pm

He’s absolutely correct on this. The same should have been said/done with Iraq, Afghanistan, and the list goes on. Look at all the billions wasted trying to save poor Iraq and now they want to hold us hostage to their oil? WTF! Allowing them to remain around is tantamount to allowing a wound to fester….it just becomes bigger and deadlier.

Deb, you’re spot on in assessing that the U.S. and other nations won’t allow for it to happen for fear of inciting the poor misunderstood jihadists.

IceNoMore on November 19, 2012 at 1:56 pm

This man should be Prime Minister of Israel AND President of the United States.

In the last 70 years, the United States has only won WWII and Granada (We did not win the wars for Kuwait, Kosovo, Bosnia etc because we were on the wrong side, and we did not win Afghanistan or Iraq; we merely toppled a government in Iraq with something worse, and Afghanistan will be run by the Taliban).

Israel last won a war in 1967 and in 1973, although Kissinger stopped Israel from winning a total victory in 1973. Since then.

Neither the US nor Israel fights to win a war any more for fear of offending the enemy, and consequently Israel finds itself always on the brink of extinction, and the US finds itself on the brink of economic disaster due to moneys wasted.

World opinion never stopped a terrorist bomb or a missile from killing Jews, nor has winning hearts and minds ever softened the resolve of the enemy; in fact, the opposite is true.

Jonathan E. Grant on November 19, 2012 at 1:59 pm

    Jon,

Debbie is right the world is protecting the Hamas Nazis because it hates the Jews, pure and simple.

Jews are also squeamish about using force. If the Jews were like the Russians and didn’t possess false moral hangups about killing their enemy, Gaza would have been flattened years ago!

You saw what the Russians to Grozny. They razed it and ended the Islamic threat in Chechenya. Israel is not like Russia and due to the feeble-mindedness and cowardice of its leaders, it will be stuck with Hamas always within reach of its carotid artery.

Welcome to the reality of Jewish life in the 21st Century.

er, DS, et all: Gilad is Ariel Sharon’s son, not grandson..
that said, what DS and Gilad say it’s true but it won’t happen in a 100 yrs as Israel’s leadership is made up mostly of spineless spin doctors who care about their careers and $$ and not the jewish people…

Y: Oops. Thanks for the correction. Fixed. DS

Thank G-d someone else is saying this. I’m so tired of hearing ALL the morons on TV and the radio who keep saying “this is SO bad – civilians are getting killed. Violence is so bad. Can’t they just stop?” The only way to end this is for Israel to WIN and utterly destroy the enemy. I’m with Gilad Sharon.

David on November 19, 2012 at 2:17 pm

I’ve always said a ground invasion isn’t even necessary! A couple of neutron bombs would permanently solve the problem of Gaza’s Islamic terrorist hellhole.

The only country in the world that practices a Christian “turn the other cheek” philosophy towards war is… the Jewish State of Israel.

Israel has elected to “mow the grass” because quite simply, that is the most the world will allow Israel to do and Israel will have to do it again in another couple of years.

You heard it here first.

Look at a map, Norman. When the prevailing WEST winds come off the Mediterranean, where does all that radiation from Gaza go? Jewish settlements in the Negev, Beersheva and Arad. Thanks for nothing. Not an option.
Flatten Gaza with conventional bombs, worked in Dresden and we can rebuild. We don’t need their cursed buildings that are uninhabitable after we get them. We also need good crop land and to reclaim the farms we lost in Gush Katif, not glow in the dark dirt.

There are a couple of things I must comment on. Gilad is not Ariel Sharon’s grandson, but his youngest son. He’s the brother of Omri Sharon and the half brother of the late Gur Sharon. That really isn’t that important a detail, but my next point is.

Gilad Sharon was the one whose idea it was to pull out of Gaza in the first place!
He encouraged his father to betray the nation and the people that he had once so fought for with such passion.

I agree with his current words, but I am outraged that he has the nerve to show his face in public or even discuss the matter when he is largely responsible for the disaster that Israel has befallen Israel due to the pullout.

I don’t know if anyone remembers, but before the withdrawal there was almost no trouble from Gaza, at least not for decades. Israel’s presence and the large wall around it kept things quiet. It was the pullout that gave the Hamas terrorists the opportunity to build, hide and fire barrages of rockets into Israel.

Here is the article where he admits that the Gaza pull out was his idea. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4137243,00.html

Erica on November 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm

This does not apply to the wars Israel faces. It applies to all wars civilized people fight against these wild animal barbarians.

We don’t even need Hiroshima and Nagasaki as examples. Dresden was turned into a parking lot without an atom bomb.

We lost the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (And you can toss in Vietnam) because we would not fight those wars to win.

How do we fight a war to win? The way we fought World War 2. As I have been saying for a long time any war that will not be fought to win is not worth fighting at all.

I_AM_ME on November 19, 2012 at 2:32 pm

I agree with Norman F about using the neutron bomb. Anyone with any sense knows that as soon as Iran or others in the area get nukes they will use them on Israel. Israel may just have the excuse it thinks it needs when the first chemical warheads land in Israel.

It is something that needed to be said. Other countries insist that Israel observe constraints that no other nation or people would tolerate from a neighboring country. Frankly, it is time to just point in the direction of Sinah, and order them to go. Also, since Iran is fomenting this, it is time that their leadership start paying a real price. There should be clandestine sabotage of Iran’s infrastructure and petroleum industry.

Worry01 on November 19, 2012 at 2:37 pm

In the past centuries, no one would have blinked twice at the notion of exterminating barbarians. That was the duty of a civilized people.

Our world today politically correct and celebrates the most evil people imaginable. I’m for an extreme solution because there is an extreme problem. You cannot co-exist with evil.

Israel’s elites still haven’t figured it out yet and continue to indulge in the romantic illusion Hamas can be tamed. Good luck with it. Its like trying to turn a virulent pathogen into a beneficial prebiotic.

Peace between Israel and Hamas is as likely to happen as the kid lying down with the wolf.

I agree with Gilad Sharon, hamas needs to be eradicated from society, there one of the main problems in the middle east (along with hezbollah, PLO, PFLP and further into the ME, the taliban and al-qeada), NOT the Palestinian people in general. The problem with the Palestinian civilians in that half of the world is that their “brainwashed” into pro-arab and pro-islam propaganda on hating the jews and Israel (I’d beg to differ from Norman’s comment by saying that Israel is a jewish state, Israel is a secular state, and about half of the population in Israel are atheists, agnostics, theists, etc., the other percentage in Israel are jews, christians, & muslims) by the arab regime’s and the arab media in the middle east, and I only pity them instead of loathing them (and I’m not anti-Palestinian people).

Israel’s government is already discussing a cease-fire.

That’s not talk you hear from a victor.

The Islamic terrorist Khaled Meshaal is probably right and Netanyahu is the one who is probably lying – Israel probably did initiate the cease-fire talks.

In the end the Hamas Islamic terrorists are laughing at Israel’s government over its pusillanimity and cowardice.

NormanF on November 19, 2012 at 3:32 pm

If Gaza is flattened, the leftwing nutjobs and their muzzie comrades will cry genocide. Just like the retarded pony-tailed smelly hippy at little green footballs.

If Gaza is flattened, Israel will be targeted by Iranian proxies and there will not be ONE second of peace. Rockets will fly day and night, ruining Israel’s economy.

If Gaza is flattened, the EU will have a shit fit calling Israel’s response disproportionate. Jews will be worse off in the EU than they are now.

If Mitt Romney was elected, Israel wouldn’t have to worry about any of these issues, because there would be a U.S. president that really would care about the Jews. But I guess, Flip Flopney wasn’t good enough for some of you supposed supporters of the Jewish State. I’m looking at you NormanF.

FrenchKiss on November 19, 2012 at 3:41 pm

FK,

Mitt Happens policies on the Middle East were to the LEFT of Obama’s. He supported a Palestinian Arab state. Romney backed the Al Qaeda Islamic takeover of Libya. He thought the only thing wrong with the “Arab Spring” was that we didn’t push Mubarak out faster than even Obama wanted! And he wanted the US to side with the Islamic terrorist side in the Syrian civil war.

Those are among the reasons that he lost! Facts are stubborn things and you don’t want to face the facts that Romney offered nothing on foreign policy that Obama isn’t already doing. He offered the voters no compelling reason to pick him for four years in the White House.

NormanF on November 19, 2012 at 3:48 pm

Unlike father, like son…..you are correct NormanF. The last debate is quite telling. Romney just sat there for 90 minutes agreeing with Pres. Obama. Why show up to debate someone when you are going to agree with everything they say.

No real answer Kay, or is it really Khalid? Have you decided to follow in the footsteps of Chaz Bono perhaps? You spout a juvenile threat rather than addressing the actual topic. Also, Hamas rockets are about as accurate as a drunk driver trying to change lanes on a freeway. Is that a situation that you are familiar with perhaps. Hamas is not up to a genuine military engagement, so they shoot wildly inaccurate rockets intended t to inflict harm on civilians. As for Gilad having no intelligence, that is quite a laughable claim coming from the likes of you. You are too dense to realize that you just reaffirmed Gilad Sharon’s remarks by your reflexively homicidal remarks.

Flatten it. And let Allah sort ’em ALL out.

I know this will never happen because @ the gym I saw all the USA Liberal propaganda on MSNBC and CNN (those here know PAWNN is a fraud but PAWNN is NEVER shown in Massa(hole)chusetts in a public venue). The pictures of the women and children of Gaza. The kyrons of MSNBC saying that “Some are saying Gaza should be flattened”. All of this is sympathetic junk food for the ignorant freaks who know nothing about the conflict, Islam or Jihad. So they (with no research or truth) think “Oh my, it must be stopped NOW. Help those poor people NOW”.

Those of us who know the first rule know better than this. But that sorta propaganda is effective and will continue to be because most peeps seeing it are uninformed and emotions and feelings will rule their arrogant ignorance.

Thank Obama-Putin. All these things avalanching after November 6th are NOT coinkydinks. And if you think so, you’re not paying attention and are easily led. And I was upset to see some on my twitter feed mimic that what Israel is doing is “disproportionate”. That tells me they are clueless to reality. It pissed me off something fierce.

Erica notes (Erica on November 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm) that the expulsion was Gilad Sharon’s idea in the first place. We can’t know that for sure–and I certainly would not believe him–but it doesn’t matter.

Allow me to parse G. Sharon’s latest: “I, G. Sharon, want to get into politics in big way.” That’s what GS is attempting now. None of it is sincere.

Anyway, it was common knowledge that the expulsion of Jews from GK was largely motivated by a threat to launch an investigation into Sharon family corruption. Of course, in Israel, corruption is a way of life. See Ayn Rand for details.

skzion on November 19, 2012 at 7:21 pm

I must object, on the most strongest grounds, the use of U.S. made aircraft in bombing Gaza. There is no excuse for this. Israel’s aircraft are for defending the skies over Israel; not bombing defenseless, innocent civilians in Gaza.

HAMAS has defined the rules of war: firing ground-based artillery indiscriminately at Israel’s civilians. With the rules of war defined, I believe it best that Israel respond-in-kind using ground-based artillery. Aircraft can be used as forward observers thus reducing the exposure of being shot down. Upon finding a “bad guy” targeted for assassination, a rocket site, a munitions dump etc., Israel should used ground based artillery to eliminate it. If necessary, fire 4 salvos to insure a hit on a “bad-guy”.

If there’s collateral damage the rules of war were defined by HAMAS. They are not discriminating between civilian and military targets. Unlike warplanes, artillery pieces in the IDF can be purchased from anywhere; even home-made.

I believe the use of Israel’s artillery will provide an inexpensive solution to deter HAMAS artillery attacks. Using the air force as forward observers keeps Israel’s most expensive assets (U.S. made warplanes) in low risk combat roles. Few could complain that “U.S. made weapons are being used to bomb innocent civilians in Gaza”. Using IDF artillery to deliver munitions is consistent with HAMAS rules of war and offers more ordinance for the dollar without utilizing U.S. made warplanes.

Using IDF artillery causes more collateral damage. This might be a drawback for some but I believe that is debatable. Causing more collateral damage might give Gaza civilians reason to restrain their leaders in pursuing a war that brings more devastation on them than they can possibly inflict on their enemy.

But hey! Nobody listens to little old me.

“HAMAS has defined the rules of war”?

    That’s kind of comical, . . . and wrong.

HAMAS the miscreant has defined something logical?

No, . . . rather, Hamas has simply opened the engagement to war; and I would say, the only considerable criteria have to do with Israel finishing it so expeditiously and permanently as may be possible, . . .

PhillipGaley on November 20, 2012 at 11:42 am

Unlike most here I, occasionally, get to wear the IDF uniform… And I live there… Not because I have to but because I want to… But, if I had to live there as things were in the 50’s or 60’s I would reconsider that…

The thing is that Israel is strong as long as its people have a life… That means have an economy that allows them to have a good standard of living… I.e. they can afford to provide for their own needs as well as the occasional luxury…

Another thing to remember is that following WWII the nations of the world instituted the Fourth Geneva Convention (Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War) in order to curb Nazi like activities… The problem is that they didn’t envision a situation wherein one side completely disregards the convention (and the world lets it get away with it)…

Hiroshima, Nagasaki & Dresden would all, under current international law, be considered war crimes… The same goes for many of the suggestions thrown about around here…

Yes, it’s ludicrous that Israel continues to supply Gaza with essentials like water, electricity and other supplies… However, Israel can’t afford to become the pariah of the world… Shut down the export and knowledge based Israeli economy and Israel will crumble… Very soon all those that can leave Israel will do so… That’s the whole point behind BDS!…

As long as the world is willing to accept the behavior of the Palestinians these are the facts and that’s that… And, as long as the world is made up of countries like Russia, China, OIC, Africa, Europe that won’t change…

So yes, occasionally the Israelis will have to “mow the lawn”… “Paving the lawn” is simply not an option… To pretend otherwise is silly…

Hans on November 20, 2012 at 1:29 am

    Dear Hans:

Thank you for sharing that with us. I understand this argument. It is the central thesis behind Israeli policy.

I also understand that HAMAS has defined the rules of war by firing artillery at any civilian target they can reach. This includes targets where U.S. and other foreign corporations have massive investments.

I maintain that Israel is now similarly licensed to respond in kind; using artillery instead of the air force. I realize artillery is less accurate and offers collateral damage hitherto unrealized in Gaza. However, this is the weapon HAMAS has chosen and Israel should respond in kind. Maybe all those world powers you’re so worried about, will force HAMAS to cease and desist. Getting Israel to cease firing never seems to be a problem.

The wonderful world media has already focused on Gaza’s casualties while ignoring Israelis killed by HAMAS artillery. I hear what you’re saying but playing nice isn’t going to subdue HAMAS; nor will the world powers portray Israel any better for exercising restraint. Artillery is far less expensive than using air power and sophisticated guided ordinance on soft targets. Few can complain that
“their technology” was used to kill Gazans when artillery is employed.

Decades ago, Israel used to hit back so hard that terrorist attacks ceased for months; even years. Now, it’s all about targeting this individual or that little arms cache. I’m not one to say “Israel should” but if this policy doesn’t stop rocket attacks from HAMAS, don’t expect me to express surprise.

    Sincerely,

There is NO Santa Claus (aka TINSC)

Gilad Sharon has hit the nail on the head. But the sad thing about this whole sordid affair is that people have forgotten about leadership and resolve. And in the worst possible way.

The true objective in fighting a war – any war – is victory. No conditions. no ifs ands or buts. Crush your enemies. See them driven from you and hear the lamentations of the masses.

Thanks to a certain Mr AH, a whole whack of Western Rulers prefer to walk on eggshells when it comes to modern warfare and “collateral damages”. Simple solution for the masses on the receiving end: you don’t want to get killed? GTFO!

You don’t want poor little kiddies killed? Pack them the eff up and GTFO!

Don’t want to be permanent part of the scenery? GTFO, MF!

But people love a martyr. The more the merrier. And HAMAS will be willing to sacrifice the innocent and ignorant to gain more sympathy. They will lie using new blood-and-rape libels to make the Jewish State even more evil than what most of the world perceive.

But even if you turn Gaza into a desert, the evil will sprout somewhere else on a greener pasture. So sadly, they should all be exterminated.

If the Romans were to behave the way the current Israeli (or Western) leadership does when it comes to modern war, let’s say that things would be a little bit different – we wouldn’t be using this alphabet to post insane things like this.

S— is about to get nasty. Hang on to your f—in’ hats.

Or, just simply, GTFO.

Norm, I have always been skeptical about claims that Israeli Arabs are pro-Israel, rather than pro Arab. As we’ve seen in the past, there have been Israeli Arab legislators openly supporting Hamas and Fatah (I forget the MK)

Yeah, Israeli Arabs do enjoy living in Israel, b’cos they know that life is exponentially better there, than it is in Hamastan. But that’s where their support starts & ends, and many Israelis seem to mistake that for genuine, rather than opportunistic support. It’s not like Israeli Arabs would fight to defend the rights of Jews or Christians – already in Nazareth, which is not in Hamastan or Fatahstan but in Israel, Muslims have made life a living hell for local Christians there – it’s not that much better than Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron or Nablus. So if the Arabs did hypothetically overrun Israel, they’d happily embrace the result, and only partially oppose it for the fact that life would get worse.

As for the allegations of racism, aren’t both Israelis and Arabs Semites? If within a race, one subset hates the other, how is it racist? Bigoted, yeah, but racist? And as has been pointed out on numerous occasions all over the place, it’s Muslims who hate the Jews more than vice versa, so who are the real bigots here?

Wow. Just wow. I hollered out loud Yes Yes Yes.

You don’t negotiate with mad dogs, charging rhinos or disease infected swarms of zombies. You eliminate the threat.

In fact, a lot of the Law and Prophets is chock full of exactly that.

I repeat that Gilad Sharon’s latest was an example of how Israeli elites operate. This is how they begin a bid for power in a party.

G. Sharon should not be PM.

They’ve killed 19 civilians in Gaza that should actually be the number left!!!

KC on November 20, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Hey, Debbie, let’s not forget that it was probably Bush’s or Condi’s idea to force Sharon to evacuate Gaza. The US is complicit in this situation.

its a shame that the generations of Jews who survived the terrible doings of Hitler and nazi are now completely bent on exterminating the Palestians as if they are nothing more than flies.

Dear Anonymous – You should try living as an Israeli at the RECEIVING END of these rocket attacks.

Or do you think that these were just more Jewish hoaxes like pogroms and holocausts?

As I mentioned before: GTFO, MF!

    Love, Jacques.

Rev, this is why I like you. 🙂

CEASEFIRE DELAYED TILL TOMORROW Hamas said the deal agreed by Egyptian mediators, which was due to start at 10pm, had been put back after the Israeli government failed to respond to proposals.‘The Israeli side has not responded yet, so we will not hold a conference this evening and must wait until tomorrow,’ said Ezzat al-Rishq, a senior Hamas leader. ‘The truce is now held up because we are waiting for the Israeli side to respond.’

Good for Gilad Sharon and great for you, Debbie for sharing this. Thanks.

Naomi R on November 20, 2012 at 11:44 pm

I agree with Mr. Sharon, but my solution is napalm the whole place, turning the Arab cockroaches into crispy critters. The only way to get peace is thru superior fire power and NOT be afraid to use it!

enubus on November 21, 2012 at 12:26 pm

I am more of the killem all let allah sortem out type of guy. Islamaniacs understand and respect one thing, the mailed fist and I say deliver it in spades and use whatever firepower you have in your arsenal. As for the bedwetting, dogooder, leftist tell them to go fuck themselves. No islamic problem that can’t be cured with a splash of napalm followed up by a healthy rolling artillery barrage, at the end of the day the only words out of our mouths should be, fuck them and love ours.

“As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.”

Wake up, G-d is our only hope, our alliances and weapons are as nothing. Repent because we have no future relying on our own “might.” The right arm of G-d has become our salvation and for His name sake He will bring us redemption.

Hear, O Israel The LORD our G-d, the LORD is one.
