Women who were watching the second presidential debate would have seen the face of an irritated scowling Obama. He was scary looking and frightened the bravest of the ladies. His trust was lost and a returning smile would not be enough to get him a kiss on the cheek.

I’ve managed to catch a fraction of the debate. While I’m not that impressed by the proceedings (Canadian election debates are a little more spirited by pitting candidates directly against each other), I was very amused by Rom-bama’s “Fast and Furious” statement. He should cut down on the Diesel if he wants to be the CinC.

My opinion. That’s all.

Debbie, I didn’t watch the waste of time debate last night, I knew it’ll be a waste of time and it’ll be fixed. Think about it, Candy Crowley of CNN the moderator, hello, this woman is apart of the left wing cabal and works for the “Government-Media-Complex” something Michael Savage warned all of us many years ago.

I was too busy watching an NCAA Football game between Louisiana-Lafayette @ North Texas (North Texas won 30-23), that game was 100 times more exciting and entertaining than the so-called debate.

And some stupid liberals are in glee and claiming that Obama won, same reaction that some silly conservatives had a few weeks ago when Romney allegedly won the debate. Whoever won the debate overnight, I doubt it’ll change the country, because whoever wins the election a few weeks from now, it’ll more likely be more of the same policies that’s been going on for the last few decades!

I noticed the crowd swirl around Obama, as well.

The general impressions was that Romney handled himself fairly well in a setting where the deck was most definitely stacked against him. Did Obama’s advisers really tell him, a rather large black man, to assume an aggressive (almost menacing) posture. Doesn’t he risk scaring the white house wives out there in suburban Cleveland?

In terms of swaying votes, and affecting the polls, Obama won strongly, with some help from his friends in the media.

First, there’s Candy Crow. Women say they want to be respected, but then they have names like ‘Candy’. She might as well be called Lolipop Crowley.

Of course she was unfair. Everyone knew that would happen when the moderators were selected. But there were other factors as well. The debates are held in liberal locations: Denver, Boca Raton, Long Island, etc. And that affects not only the questions, but the audience response — remember the murmur of approval when Obama said Romney’s pension was higher? Does anyone thing that would have been the audience reaction if the debate had been held in Wyoming?

And of course the candidates’ anticipation of audience reaction, which would be seen by tens of millions of people, affects their response. Romney, everything else being equal, is less likely to make a conservative response in front of a liberal, vocal audience than in an audience in Wyoming, for instance. And vice versa for Obama– liberal responses would be less likely if the debate were held in the middle of coal country for instance.

And the media learned from their mistake in the first debate, where they were honest and said Romney won. This time, Obama won because he was more ‘aggressive’. The reporting on substances was shallow and inaccurate, but that is what will affect votes.

All of that being said, Romney deserves credit for at least up till the last few minutes, not tolerating the rudeness that overwhelmed Ryan in the second debate. Obama’s interruptions were aggressive, and Romney’s were defensive. Similarly, his interruptions of Candy Crow were also defensive. He had no choice.

As far as substance, Romney was in a difficult position because he, himself is a liberal and flip-flopper par excellence. He didn’t have the guts to say that Planned Parenthood should be cut off from all Government funds. Obama & his handers knew that Romney would take conciliatory positions on women, and immigration, and took full advantage. But Romney made it easy for them, and in that sense, deserves what he got.

And he didn’t learn from Ryan’s mistakes. He could have communicated on Fast & Furious if he had said more on the issue, instead of trying to appease liberals.

And Obama looked like a grinning idiot much of the time — his demeanor was rude, not quite as bad as Biden’s, but pretty close. Romney should have called him on it.

He is a better debater, but could not overcome the organizational aspects supporting the Democrats, or the liberalism inherent in his candidacy.

So all in all, a frustrating debate to watch.

The only way it will matter will be how much discussion there is about Crowly’s non-moderate moderation. I mean, chiming in to help the President? REALLY? If I were Mitt I would have said “hey Candy, give him a chance, he has to learn to debate on his own.” As for the “undecideds” that was total BS. Probably most people weren’t paying attention. I watched most of it last night and even I had a hard time sticking with it. You’re right about Mitt….he’ll probably try to be soft on immigration so it’ll be up to us writing our Congessional delegations to make sure we enforce our borders and deport people who overstay visas. You know, act like we’re a sovereign nation or something.

Why do they bother? Does anyone decide on the “results” of these debates? Do candidates every really answer the questions? Are people basically too stupid to see the results of Obama’s 4 years? Why didn’t anyone question the video of Obama saying “if he doesn’t cut the budget deficit, he’d be a one term president”?
Are any Americans out there incapable of doing the arithmetic on unemployment and deficit? You’re right….total waste of time

Romney missed an opportunity to publicly call on Obama to lift executive privledge on fast and furious. When the question came he wasted too much time getting to it, and when he finally did he was cut off by the moderator.

Romney missed MANY opportunities to demonstrate the Liar-in-Chief’s BS. But, he did show plenty of the Kenyan’s failures. Romney just needed to hold his ground, and not loose any credibility. He did.

Kandi Kowley clearly came to obama’s rescue and lied. Why the stupid Republican party keeps agreeing to these “moderators” is pathetic.

It’s a shame this guy will go down in history as the worse, most corrupt in history. With a media as corrupt as he was, carrying his water every inch of the way. Even with the moderators all stacked against the GOP, The message was still out there. Not to mention the passing of the B.O. care bill on the night before Christmas Eve was the moment we all knew there was no depth this man would not go to.

I think the Republicans agree to degrading organizational aspects of the debates because they have really degenerated into little more than an alternative patronage organization. They’re happy getting a minority of political offices, lucrative lobbying and business opportunities when they’re finished holding office, and they don’t want to upset this.

I listened and was on Twitter the whole time (and annoying Twitter shut me down for about 40 minutes of the debate time…who knew Twitter rationed tweets?).

I do like Twitter but there are so many lovey-dovey, rah-rah Romney lovers on there. Not because they are so taken by him but they have been taken over by the fight. I understand that but it is sad to see how they don’t question things and fall into Republican GOOD crap. These peeps also adore Darrell Issa and Lara Logan. Sad. Critical thinking has gone on walkabout for those sorts.

Romney does have my vote this time around but I will have to chop off my nose practically to do it. I hate the Liberals more than the “Rah-rah-sis-boom-bah” Romney lovers because they paint that chameleon as an extreme right-winger when he is anything but. Some are stupid who swallow it hook, line and sinker but most just wanna influence peddle dumb Liberals lemmings for their own power and delusions.

Even though Mittens is a weak candidate who has many chinks(or etch-a-sketches) in his armor he has taken it to Odummer.This wasn’t like the town hall debate where McLame was trying to be a gentleman and pacing back and forth while Obowma was coughing up flem laced lies and platitudes. The part where Mittens took the gloves off and told the black “undecided” voter Michael Jones Onocchio’s record was priceless. Even though Candy the whale finally came out of the Otank and helped Obinks with his Benghazi mess that didn’t do any good. I call this debate a draw because of Oboinkus coming out awake but stll lying thru his large teeth and Mittens holding his own while also dealing the Rotten Candy. I also predict that the next debate on Monday will be the same. Let’s just hope that Bob Schieffer doesn’t act like mutts Crowley and Raddatz. Yeah right don’t hold your breath folks.
