The choice of an avowed liberal partisan to head up a Super Bowl organizing committee is a big mistake . . . especially in a traditionally red state.
Is James “Serpenthead” Carville really the most well-known, most powerful New Orleans resident (who is actually a Washington, DC-area resident)?
Apparently so . . . in the thinking of National Football League bigwigs and the New Orleans hoi polloi.
Carville, the “ragin’ Cajun” and major Clintonista, announced on his Sirius XM radio show that he’s going to be named chairman of the New Orleans host committee for the 2013 Super Bowl. I guess they couldn’t find anyone left who still lives there to take up the job.

That or the fact that of those still there none are available, but he is, because he ran Hillary’s losing campaign for Prez and is basically persona non grata in the Obama White House. And he needs something to do.
Unfortunately, Barack Obama will likely still be President in 2013. I hope the NFL players in the Big Game are able to play under Obamacare, which won’t exempt the NFL, and they’ll have crappy medical care, too.
But, hey, maybe by then, there will be socialized NFL Superbowl ticket prices, too. And the common man–whom elites Obama and Carville both pretend to champion–will finally get to attend. Or socialized NFL player salaries.
