Michael Jackson “As If” Laugh of the Day

By Debbie Schlussel
And you thought the mainstream media and a vast swath of the populus had an inflated sense of Michael Jackson. Check out this painting Michael Jackson commissioned and which sat on the wall behind his bed at Neverland Ranch. Talk about an inflated sense of self-worth. If he really “hated himself,” you can’t tell from this painting of himself in place of Jesus at his own version of “The Last Supper.”
The only people from this photo with whom he deserves to be at the same table are fellow entertainers Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and Charlie Chaplin (and perhaps JFK). By the way, I wouldn’t put it past someone like Donald Trump to also commission something like this, featuring himself as Jesus with American History’s greats (and no, I don’t consider JFK to be a “great”).

Debbie, you didn’t mention Walt Disney. I hope you don’t think that that antisemite was all that great.
[J: YOU ARE RIGHT. WALT DISNEY WAS REPORTEDLY AN ANTI-SEMITE. HIS BABY, DISNEY, ON THE OTHER HAND, WAS TERRIFIC (WAS–PAST TENSE). DS]

Who’s Judas in that picture?
In Last Supper representations, Judas is usually depicted in an opposing fashion, say, by being the only person on the other side of the table. In Da Vinci’s Last Supper, Judas is the only person leaning into shadow, and the only one with an elbow on the table.
I think Little Richard is not coming off too well…

who’da thunk that Obama would have been pushed out of the big chair 😀

Well now, I guess we now know why the delusional idiot wore those phony military uniforms, he actually believed he was the “King”.

ScottyDog on July 20, 2009 at 4:15 pm

Michael Jackson was eccentric, no doubts, and this picture, definitively gives me creeps, but an idiot he was not. The military outfits? just his artist persona style, like Elvis and Charlie Chaplin. Whether we like it or not, he was the greatest performer ever and not recognizing that is being delusional. Remember, “There is no great genius without some touch of madness” – Seneca.

It’s not so much bad that the painting exists, but that all the usual suspect Black Racists will do their usual vile blustering, to excuse, defend, alibi, rationalize, etc, etc, the thing, with the usual statement that if you’re White,or non-Black, and disgusted by it,you’re RACIST.

OldSchoolW on July 21, 2009 at 11:21 am

face it u are a RACIST!!!!

The people that think that this is a picture of the last supper is totally stupid there is no way that this looks anything like the last supper it is just a picture of the king of pop with the people he admired the most. Most of who he never met if it was the last supper the pcture would have had people who were alive when he was alive. People will say anything to get rating.

G: Nice try, but Jackson told people that he had it commissioned specifically to look like a “The Last Supper” version of him. Facts are stubborn things. DS

Really where did u get this information from. People always said that Michael said and did things that he did this is probably one of those cases he is not here to defend himself and why can’t you let this man rest in peace. There will be a day when we all have to stand b/f God and I think u should try to make sure you are ready. Are you ready? I would think not if ur focus in life is to judge others instead of judging yourself.

And to say JFK is not a great??? The person who wrote this is sounds jealous. Who would you consider a great and have in a picture like this. The people who write all this stuff about Michael will never in there lifetime accomplish the things that he did. Do you know he is in the genesis book of world records last count was 20 times. He even had to get patents on his dance moves. And not to mention he was the first Billionaire entertainer and he did this b/f he was 30 none of the people talking negative will EVER in there life accomplish no where near this.

And Shy Guy Michael didn’t invent the moonwalk he only made it popular know your stuff b/f you open your mouth!!

At least Michael Jackson understood the significance of the people in the painting. It is not a depiction of the “Last Supper” painting. Some of you have lost your sense of humor.

KS: WRONG. Michael Jackson specifically asked that it be a depiction of “The Last Supper” when he commissioned it. And he wasn’t joking. He actually believed he was greater than all the people at that table. Our sense of humor remains intact, which is why we’re laughing at MJ’s inflated ego and sense of self. DS

Jackson is a grade A jerk for thinking up this deluded fantasy. First of all, here are the some real Facts, and you can’t argue with facts. Elvis sold over 1 billion records. Elvis has 18 number 1’s on Billboard, Michael has 13. In the UK, Elvis has 21, and Michael 14. Almost 1 million people visit Graceland each year, and more than half of them are under age 35. No star will ever approach these numbers. If anyone deserves to be at the center of that painting; It is Elvis! However, only Jesus is really there, because he is the Son of God.

you keep saying he commissioned it to specifically resemble the da vinci painting, now show us the source

Well for one it does not look like the last supper. They are not in groups of 3 for one. Second there is no food on the table. Third there is no vantage point focusing on micheal jackson. The people in the painting are seperated by their trades. JFK and LIncoln are both presidents and if you look in to their assasinations you will find some crazy coincidences. Next are the 2 inventors which changed thing by leaps and bounds. (Personally I think they should haveput Nicola Tesla as well). Then there is micheal and walt disney 2 giants that will forever be remembered and there names will still be very known in the future. And last but not least you have 3 great entertainers all from seperate backrounds. So I ask u this where is your proof that it looks like the last supper?
