Michael Jackson “As If” Laugh of the Day
By Debbie Schlussel
And you thought the mainstream media and a vast swath of the populus had an inflated sense of Michael Jackson. Check out this painting Michael Jackson commissioned and which sat on the wall behind his bed at Neverland Ranch. Talk about an inflated sense of self-worth. If he really “hated himself,” you can’t tell from this painting of himself in place of Jesus at his own version of “The Last Supper.”
The only people from this photo with whom he deserves to be at the same table are fellow entertainers Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and Charlie Chaplin (and perhaps JFK). By the way, I wouldn’t put it past someone like Donald Trump to also commission something like this, featuring himself as Jesus with American History’s greats (and no, I don’t consider JFK to be a “great”).

Rhetorical Exit Question of the Day: Is inventing “the Moonwalk” equal to discovering electricity and the theory of relativity or freeing slaves?
Debbie, you didn’t mention Walt Disney. I hope you don’t think that that antisemite was all that great.
[J: YOU ARE RIGHT. WALT DISNEY WAS REPORTEDLY AN ANTI-SEMITE. HIS BABY, DISNEY, ON THE OTHER HAND, WAS TERRIFIC (WAS–PAST TENSE). DS]
