Majority of Dems Boo, Vote Against Reinstatement of Jerusalem as Capital of Israel – VIDEO

Watch this hilarious video of what took place less than an hour ago on the floor of the Democratic convention, as delegates loudly booed and voted against the reinstatement of language recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the Democratic Convention Chairman, er . . . “Chair” (even emptier than Clint Eastwood’s chair) has to ask delegates to vote not once, not twice, but THREE times to try to get a majority of them to vote to reinstate the language into the Democratic Party platform, after it was deliberately removed. And, yet, even on the third vote, despite his declaring otherwise, the majority of the delegates are loudly AGAINST reinstating the language. It is fun to watch the silly “Yalla Vote”-t-shirt wearing Arab and his property, er . . woman looking all upset. And they should be. Their party is clearly anti-Israel. But for election and PR purposes, Villaraigosa keeps lying about the delegates’ vote, which is clearly and loudly anti-Israel. Someone clearly has a hearing–or more like a lying–problem. This group is a festival of clowns. Reader “Worry01”: “Boss Tweed would have been proud.” Yup.

G-d also seemed to require a ramming to be included in the Democratic Party platform. That was an ugly scene, and if the Republicans were even semi-sharp they would use it in their ads. This would not be a cut and paste job, but an entirely accurate portrayal of where the mainstream of the Democratic Party is today.

Unfortunately the GOP is the party of stupid so sadly expert at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory that as they showed in picking Mormon Romney, whose monstrous Romneycare was a model for 0bamacare, as a supposed “alternative” to his boy 0bama when anyone with a brain (those who don’t vote Dem or GOP) knew there was no difference in the candidates, just the speed at which they would take the US over the cliff! I write this 12/2013 and Sen. McConnell’s whining and making typical infantile threats about those rightly primarying him and promising how he’ll retaliate, should make any rational adult replace him with an adult, further proof if any were needed of how the GOP is regularly a reliably spineless ACCOMPLICE for Dems, not a regular, much less reliable opponent, even though there are exceptions, perhaps like WI Gov. Scott Walker. Only God can save us now!

I believe that the majority of delegates to this shameful event are “Teachers.” I refer to them as mind numbed union robots. Most “Teachers” today are interested in only two things….more monry and walking a picket line. Unfortunately for the picket line, these idiots have to be retrained after completing the first circle. You have to love the leftist mantra of, “Give teachers more money and they’ll be better teachers.” In other words, give some incompetent moron more money and they instantly become Einstein. Smaller classes is the next false flag. Everyone should go to college? How large are college classes….stadium seating for a hundred, two hundred? I rest my case. Smaller classes mean more incompetent drones “Teaching,” which really means more dues to the communist led teacher’s unions….and the money cycles to the democrat party. It’s just a wheel of money. I watched a teacher’s union convention last yea…..first topic brought up was abortion, followed with getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan, closing Guantanamo, disinvestment in Israel,….the usual commiecrap that has nothing to do with education. Teachers will overwhelmingly vote for obama……ask them why and you’ll get a blank stare. These mindless cretins would vote for Donald Duck if told to do so by the union. No wonder today’s kids can’t read or write a cohesive paragraph.

I bet Charles regrets saying that now.

However, since the IDF couldn’t push the filthy arab vermin into the sea, and it was using a large amount of resources to protect the small number of Israelis in the Gaza strip, Sharon did the most prudent thing. Just leave. Sharon was more concerned about Hizballah in the north which required more military resources. Gaza has changed since then. Sharon could not forsee the infiltration by Iran in Gaza. Hindsight is always nice, but a decision had to be made where to focus militarily, and Gaza was not as big a threat as the Golan or the north.

FK, it never ceases to amaze me how Israelis buy the kind of crap that you just offered here. The results from Gaza were totally predictable. Sharon made his decision based on the same set of self-interested personal and short-term political motives that all important political decisions are made in Israel, including his fear that he and family members would be prosecuted for corruption.

As Rand has pointed out, a state with laws written so that they must be broken, making all citizens vulnerable to law enforcement, is a strategy of control.

Also, stop calling the Muslims of eretz Israel vermin when you spend time making excuses for not slaughtering them. It’s a typical Israeli tough-guy pose.

It was a strategically untenable situation. Gaza had no strategic value to Israel. Removing the vermin or leaving was the only two choices. Sharon left.

FK, in truth, I no longer pay any attention to Israel, but last time I did, there were all these projectiles hitting Green Line Israel from … Gaza. Hmm. Then there were all the arms smuggling operations, which I’m sure no longer happen.

Of, course Israel has no need for added depth, it being the largest in the region already.

But really, the Israeli idea of paying the jizya in land giveaways has always been quite brilliant. The Muzz would never be encouraged by such a sly approach.

Also, Israel needs to fight its future wars on as many fronts as possible!

Even if it contained a 1,000-page tribute to the Constitution, meritocracy, property rights, hard work, Israel, etc, wouldn’t it make more sense to judge them by their deeds? It’s so obvious that it scarcely needs to be said – but the media is all wrapped up on their little position paper.

It wasn’t just reinstating Jersusalem as the capital of Israel, but it’s also reinstating the word “god” back into their platform as well.

There are some Democrats and liberals who support the state of Israel and believe and trust in god, just as their are some Republicans and conservatives who don’t believe in god and don’t support the state of Israel, but favor a Palestinian state, speaking of Palestine, Jordan should be re-named Palestine. As DS explained on this blog many months ago, a good number of Jordanian folks have Palestinian blood in their DNA and of Palestinian lineage, etc.

Is it just me or was Villaraigosa going to throw in the towel and call the motion defeated for a bit after the 2nd vote, around 2:31? Of course, empty suit that he is, he looks around for somebody to tell him the right answer. That woman says something like “you gotta rule, and they’ll do whatever they do,” at which point Villaraigosa realizes that’s the Democrat answer: ignore what people are saying and ram it through anyway.

Personally I love this video, and think it’s the most important of the campaign, more even than Eastwood tearing apart an empty chair. Let everybody see exactly what the delegates – the base supporters and rule-makers in this party stand for: denying G-d thrice and booing even a meaningless token mention of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. (After all, they’d proceed the same way, whether or not this language is in their platform. This amendment passing with enthusiastic approval wouldn’t make Barry the slightest bit anti-Israel. These Muslim hotheads can’t even stand putting up the false front.)

And don’t you love former Governor Strickland, who submitted the amendments and at the same time announced that he was an ordained Methodist minister. What did he do after this fraud occurred? This ordained minister went along with the fraud, lies and vote stealing. Some minister! Some Christian! Maybe he could become a regular guest speaker for the Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. or at Jeremiah Wright’s church.

I have no real problem with omitting the word “God” from the Democratic Party platform — for that matter, the word doesn’t appear in the Constitution. But I have a great problem, from a realist standpoint, with removing support for Jerusalem as the true capital of Israel, which clearly it is.

Symbolically, the removal is appeasement to the enemies of Israel, most of all, the Arabs. It is in U.S. interests to cultivate strong relations with Israel. The Democrats issued a slap in the face to a true ally.

In fact, with Mayor Corey Booker and former Governor Ted Strickland involved in the platform drafting process, it is highly unlikely that this matter had not previously been brought to the attention of President Obama. He apparently did not think that the language on Jerusalem and G-d was of importance until the firestorm hit. Also, as the delegates made abundantly clear, the party assembled clearly did not want the approved platform modified. It took three voice votes followed by ignoring the plainly expressed will of the chamber to get G-d and Jerusalem back into the Democratic party platform.

David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett did not make President Obama look any better after that interview. Even if you bought what was being said, it make the President seem inattentive and weak at best.

The following is a letter that I wrote (on the day it occurred) to the left-leaning local Gannett newspaper (which they surprisingly printed):

The Democratic platform had decided to omit the holiest of words from its platform. It also decided to eliminate the mentioning of the capital of Israel from its platform. These omissions were present in the 2008 Democratic platform. There was much uproar re these omissions. To salvage face, these
items were added to this year’s platform upon a recommendation from the President. The amendment was decided on a voice vote. Even though most of the delegates booed the addition, supposedly it amazingly passed by a majority voice
affirmation. The Democratic Party, once a great party under JFK, has slowly declined into a party of unions, socialists, and special interests.
