“2016” Maker Dinesh D’Souza is Islamopologist, Said America Deserved 9/11, HAMAS CAIR Hero
As a movie critic, I’ve been asked a lot lately if I saw the anti-Obama movie, “2016: Obama’s America,” which is in theaters today. My answer is no. I wasn’t sent a screener or invited to a screening. But, more important than that, I’m nauseated with all the gushing over Dinesh D’Souza, the maker of the film, who is also a well-known apologist for Islam and particularly extremist Muslims embraced and employed by the Obama administration, such as Obama adviser and Muslim Brotherhood agent Dalia Mogahed.
It’s funny how mindless gushers and bots in the lumpenconservatariat eagerly eat up his movie, despite the fact that D’Souza essentially blamed America for the 9/11 attacks, saying Muslims have a right to hate us because America is decadent (hmmm . . . is that a “legitimate rape” of America, Dinesh?). It’s a stark fact they either don’t know because they are incredibly ignorant or don’t care about, because they are incredibly stupid and unable to engage in any sort of critical thinking or analysis whatsoever. D’Souza wrote a whole book, “The Enemy at Home,” on the topic . . . a book that sounds like an echo chamber for the late Anwar Al-Awlaki and Osama Bin Laden. Here’s a tip, Dinesh: Muslims hate us and would attack us if we were boy scouts. There was NO excuse for the 9/11 attacks. Stop blaming the victim. D’Souza’s been a revered character in the HAMAS CAIR and organized extremist Muslim realms in America ever since. D’Souza wrote several pro-Muslim posts and columns in places like Huffington Post and Town Hall (which kicked me off at the request of jihadist Grover Norquist on behalf of his convicted Islamic Jihad terrorist friend, Sami Al-Arian, and Hezbollah/Arafat/Assad fan Jihad Darrell Issa). One of those D’Souza columns, “Who Speaks for Islam?,” which he wrote in September 2008, is especially disgusting. D’Souza praises and promotes a propaganda screed by Obama Muslim policy adviser Mogahed and John Esposito, long on the take from the various Arab emirates and Islamic groups that fund his pan-Islamic, uber-dhimmi teaching, writing, and research. If there was ever a “Judas” to Western civilization, he is it. Cha-ching. Here’s what D’Souza wrote in praising their taqiyyah BS book:
This book is a huge embarrassment to some conservatives who, based on no data and very little familiarity with the Muslim world, have been portraying Muslims as violent theocrats who reject modern science, modern democracy and modern capitalism and spend most of their day performing honor killings and genital mutilations. This portrait of the Muslim world is about as accurate as that of a Muslim who believes that typical Americans live their daily lives according to the values of “Natural Born Killers” and “Brokeback Mountain.”
What can we conclude from this book? First, that the values of the cultural left are an important source in alienating Muslims worldwide. Second, that Muslims don’t reject modernity or the West: rather, they embrace what may be termed “1950s America” while rejecting the libertine values of the 1960s. Third, America can build alliances with traditional Muslims by showing them the face of traditional America, so that they see that Hollywood values aren’t necessarily American values. Finally, left-wing groups like International Planned Parenthood and Amnesty International should stop pushing feminism, gay marriage and libertine values in the Muslim world.
BARF. I wasn’t around in “1950s America,” but I’m pretty sure we didn’t go to the tallest building in Riyadh or Beirut and fly planes into it. I’m also pretty sure the majority of Americans didn’t support American terrorist groups (which never existed) which blew up innocent people at pizza parlors, coffee shops, hotels, and buses in Muslim nations, the way Muslims around the world support Islamic terrorist groups that do this in Israel. And I don’t think we supported terrorist groups that blew up Muslim embassies and sleeping Muslim marines in barracks while they slept, as the majority of D’Souza’s “1950s America” Muslim world supports Hezbollah, which did that to us and also helped Al-Qaeda blow up the Khobar Towers (full of Americans). Oh and by the way, he apparently forgot about elections in Gaza. Check out this D’Souza gem of ignorance:
Iraq is the only country in the Middle East where the Muslim population actually chose its own rulers.
Really, Dinesh? Ever hear of HAMAS? You might wanna visit Gaza City and check out the Muslim population and the rulers they chose in free elections, schmuck.
Why on earth would you elevate this Islamo-pandering schmuck and promote his movie? Are you that desperate to beat Obama that you’ll whore yourself out to anyone–ANYONE!–who will pretend to do your bidding? Only if you’re a moron, a word which sadly describes as many on the right as on the left of America’s political divide.
The biggest irony here is that the many people who claim Obama is a secret Muslim (and it’s not secret that his father was a Muslim, and therefore, according to Islamic law, he is, too), and they won’t vote for him because of it are embracing this glorified pan-Muslim propagandist who praises and promotes actual extremist Muslims, such as Ms. Mogahed.
D’Souza claims that Islamic terrorism is only a recent problem, something he claims didn’t happen–at any time during long history–before the last few decades. In a 2007 blog post at the Huffington Post (which has since been erased, but has been preserved here), D’Souza wrote:
Is Islam the Problem? My book “The Enemy at Home” says no, locating the problem in the way that liberal foreign policy and liberal values projected abroad have strengthened radical Islam and emboldened it to attack us. . . .
Islam has been around for 1300 years and the problem of Islamic terrorism is a recent one. How can Islam be to blame?
That’s a statement only a complete ignoramus or a shameless liar would make. Which is D’Souza? Regardless of the answer, he shouldn’t be a hero to conservatives. He should be persona non grata.
Connect the dots, people. You cannot–with a straight face–attack the left and the Democrats for embracing Islamic extremists and then embrace Dinesh D’Souza, who does the exact same thing and knows better.
While we don’t want Obama to remain President in 2016, we should be extremely embarrassed that Dinesh D’Souza is still taken seriously in 2012.

Dinesh D’Souza has about as much historical understanding as Vice President Joe Biden. The Muslim world did not start hating the West after the 1960’s. In fact, this loathing of others is not even confined to the West. Ask Hindus, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians in countries conquered or demographically overcome by Islam. Whether these poor souls live in India or the Philippines, their stories are hideously familiar. Islam made some superficial changes as it moved out from the Arabian Peninsula, but its heart remained black and its thirst for blood was never quench by the blood of those who opposed it. If you do not convert or become a dhimmi, you are marked for death. Islam has been a plague to its neighbors since the sixth century A.D. It destroyed the Persian and Byzantine Empires, which were infinitely better culturally and economically than those who conquered them. Unlike the barbarian hordes in Western Europe, these conquerors adapted themselves to their conquests as little as possible. The nations and peoples that Islam conquered were only of interest in terms of war craft or practical techniques for accomplishing needed tasks. Unlike the Germans and Slavs who invaded the Western Roman Empire, there was no wonder or regret over what the Islamic hordes had destroyed. Charlemagne’s efforts to revive the Roman Empire, despite the insurmountable odds, should be contrasted with how Mohammed and his successors viewed the knowledge of those they conquered. Charlemagne learned how to read and write as an adult before such skills were deemed to be of any value by most Barbarians of his time. I contrast this regret with Islam’s denigration or falsification of all that occurred before it. No Dinesh, I have no respect for anyone who even attempts a defense of a religion is so nihilistic.
