Yes, You Can Buy Justice in America . . . If You’re a Rich Actress

By Debbie Schlussel
While this isn’t nearly as disgusting as NFL gazillionaire Donte Stallworth doing only 30 days in prison after killing a man, it’s nauseating enough.
Recently, movie star/actress Jessica Alba vandalized a United Way billboard in Oklahoma City, posting flyers about saving the great white sharks. ‘Cuz as we all know, Oklahoma is surrounded by miles of ocean coastline where sharks are endangered by evil humans taking a swim (and who deserve their limbs to be bitten off for doing so). When I think great white sharks and ocean, I think Oklahoma City. Don’t you?

Jessica Alba: Yes, You Can . . . Get Away w/ Vandalism if You’re Rich
Alba took photos of herself smiling and proudly posing in front of her vandalism, which she posted online. Now, if that were you or me, we’d be prosecuted. And we wouldn’t be offered a deal because the prosecutors had all the evidence they needed what with the pics we posted proudly posing with our “work.”
But, if you’re rich enough in America, you can buy the victim off and get them to not press charges or argue for leniency. The United Way declined to press charges . . . after Alba donated a sizable sum to the group.
For the record, this is another one of those instances where I wish “a pox on both their houses.” United Way donates millions of dollars to Muslim-dominated agencies including Dearbornistan’s ACCESS–the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, which helps Muslim illegal aliens enter and stay in America, funded commercial driving lessons for Al-Qaeda terrorists, and has helped thousands of Muslim pregnant aliens have their kids here in America, courtesy of Medicaid, because ACCESS gave them phony social security numbers. When you give to United Way, that’s where some of your money goes.
And that’s aside from the pressure tactics United Way uses at most big employers’ offices across America.
Neither Alba nor United way will say how much she gave. But it’s just more evidence that, yes, you can buy justice in America.
No wonder Alba supported the “Yes, You Can” candidate.
One other thing: A brief refresher on Alba–during the height of the Iraq invasion, Alba whined that her uncle joined the U.S. Army to get a free trip to Italy and got shipped to Iraq instead. Yup, the U.S. military . . . your cruise package to the Mediterranean. And I thought they were around to protect American interests as our fighting force. Who knew?
Nice house. No one’s home. But the bank account is bulging.

With money, fame and connections one can buy one’s way out of trouble. There’s always been a double standard in justice and as long as human nature is the way it is – its going to be with us forever.

If you are a violent thug who physically intimidates voters on election day you can also have the charges dropped as long as you are an Obama supporting black violent thug who physically intimidates voters on election day:

Jessica Alba is a moron and the United Way will never get a dime of my money because they are communist sympathizers.

United Way probably hopes more wealthy individuals vanadalize their posters. Good way to get more donantions.
I never donate to United Way because much of what they support, I don’t. Even though they allow you to designate beneficiary organizations, I still won’t donate to UW and let them brag about their “good” work. I am capable of donating to those organizations myself.

United Way also keeps some where around 80% of the donated money for administration, then doles out the remaining pitence.
Celebs are mostly brainless dolts, it’s a wash.

United Way is corrupt. They shakedown companies where supervisors apply pressure on the underlings to give. I don’t give anything to United Way–the money just goes down a rathole.
I like the Salvation Army.

I haven’t donated to The United Way in years. Before I was aware of their questionable beneficiaries and high administration costs, I objected to their Teamster-style strong-arm tactics at work to get everyone to approve a weekly paycheck “deduction” for their cause. Critical thinking was not tolerated; they had a numerical “goal” to reach “for the community.” I can’t wait for the United Way to Go aWay.

LTZ, excellent point. The administration at the prison I used to work at routinely attempted to strong arm employees into the automatic deductions from our paychecks. The AUDACITY! Management would smugly turn up at award dinners and accept gifts and kudos from fellow socialist. In the Air Force they were more successful due to the ease with which they could harass.

United Way stopped supporting the Boy Scouts. Too “homophobic”. Nonsense, of course.
