Gee, maybe I should try this. I was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease in 1998. I was tormented by nightmares every night, made worse by a resting pulse of no less than 85 beats per minute. I had a killer shiftwork schedule. My short term memory was shot to hell. And, I trashed my credit rating.
Yep, shoulda sued the credit card companies. You know, their silly insistance of getting their money on time every month. I mean, couldn’t they see that I was sick!! The nerve!

After clicking on the link and reading the story, let’s see…her bi-polar condition leaves her unable to make sound judgments and decisions. So the glorious drive-by media, after having honoring their obligation to tell us she’s a single mother (like what the hell does that have to do with leasing a car?), informs the reader that she’s separated from her husband yet runs to him to tell him about the deal and what she should do. Did her bi-polar condition make her forget that she’s separated from him and he really doesn’t give a damn what kind of mess she got into because soon it won’t be his problem anyway?
That’s probably why he dumped her in the first place.

My daughter is bipolar and I can see this happening to her. The dealership is under no obligation to release her from her contract but I find it hard to believe that they didn’t know that they where dealing with an unstable person to begin with. They should return all her money if for no other reason than good publicity. They shouldn’t have sold her the car and she should have a guardian to take care of things like oil changes.
