Obama Trip Irony: Yesterday v. Today
By Debbie Schlussel
I can’t help but notice the glaring irony–no, the hypocrisy–of Obama’s trips, yesterday and today.
Yesterday, in Cairo, Obama praised the new Nazis (Islam and Muslims) and pressures Israel, blaming the Jews for all of the Muslims’ violence and problems. He did it in a speech at Anti-Semitic U a/k/a Al-Azhar University, where hating on Jews and wishing Hitler “finished the job” is the order of the day.
Today, Obama–in a visit to Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany–condemned the old Nazis and lamented dead Jews. You know–the ones who were victims of the same kind of anti-Semitism he was lauding and sanctioning with his appearance at Al-Azhar, his praise of Islam, and his blame the Jews (Israel) mentality.
That Was Then . . .
This Is Now . . .
It’s not that the irony is lost on Obama and his handlers. It’s that it’s lost on liberals and Obama’s Jewish supporters, who are falling all over themselves over Obama standing on the graves of dead Jews.
Well, they didn’t get it in November, either. The more things change . . . .
Hey, Barack Hussein Obama, if you don’t care about live Jews, I really couldn’t care less what you think about the long dead and buried ones.
Hypocrisy is truly the word, Debbie. Having had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz and Berkenau about 10 years ago when my hubby and I wentto Poland, I cannot conceive that Obama or anyone could see that or the similar preservation of the ultimate in attrocities at Buchenwald, and even consider for a moment appeasing Islamofascism.
There is a huge difference in hearing Obama’s professorial commentary on the holocaust in his speech in Egypt and what should be an expression of abject horror at having seeing such a site. It rings shallow if not hollow to me. I know I literally cried for days after seing it and have cried in my heart and soul over it for a decade.
I am surprised the Obamessiah hasn’t apologized to the Germans for Dresden while he was there.
