Sotomayor: The Illegal Alien, Anti-Male, Anti-White Vote on the Court; Plus, “View” Airhead “Conservative” Praises Choice

By Debbie Schlussel
Here’s what we know:
Barack Obama, today, nominated an anti-male, anti-White woman who will be the voice of illegal aliens, to the Supreme Court. Yup, let’s hear it for the reconquista Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. She said she believes that the bench is “where policy is made” and just you wait until reconquista, pro-illegal alien policy is made from the Supreme Court bench. She’ll do it.
Sonia Sotomayor . . .

The Choice of Illegal Aliens & Elisabeth Hasselbeck . . .

illegalalienssmaller2.jpgelisabethhasselbeck.jpg
Today, on ABC’s anti-male hag-fest, faux-conservative and eternal airhead bimbo Elisabeth Hasselbeck heartily applauded this absurd affirmative action choice, saying “This is great because Hispanics are the most important group of people in America.” They are? I thought–and particularly conservatives, which brainless Hasselbeck pretends to be, think–that America is a land of individuals, that no one group of people is “more important” than anyone else. Hasselbeck also stated that “women don’t have enough opportunity.” Huh? This woman, Sotomayor, was picked for only two reasons, one of which is that she has female indoor plumbing.
Sickening, but par for the course for this nauseating TV bim, who disclosed the name of a Federal Air Marshal on national TV. (But don’t worry. Tomorrow, when she gets the GOP talking points from her fellow airhead, Sean Vannity, she’ll change her tune and, per usual, pretend she knew what she was talking about in the first place.)
Here’s what we don’t know:
How many Republicans will have the cojones to call Sotomayor to the carpet for her anti-male, anti-White statements? I’m guessing very few, judging by her track record. So far, these wimps on the GOP side of the aisle are staying wimpishly silent and withholding comment. A bunch of girlie-men. Regardless, even if all of them vote against her, she’ll still be confirmed.
Thanks, America, for voting in this President who practices gender, racial, and ethnic politics and, frankly, discrimination, like nobody’s bidness.
Oh, and one more thing: Stop telling me she’s the first Hispanic nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court. Ever hear of a dude named Benjamin Cardozo? What–because he was a Jew, he doesn’t count?

Ha Ha Funny.

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” – Sonia Sotomayor, 2001

Now, imagine a Republican President nominating this for SCOTUS.
“I would hope that a wise white male with the richness of his experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a Latina woman who hasn’t lived that life,”
Yah think the nominee would be treated to a high-tech public lynching?

Here’s a hopeful scenario:
Even though the Republicans don’t have the votes to stop her, they could be tough questioning her during the confirmation hearings.
Based on her attitude, whereby she thinks that she is a lot more qualified and lot smarter than she really is (see various editorials), she could pull some major ‘tude, and blow it for herself.
Not that Hispanic women have attitudes or anything…

Colin Powell, Lindsay Graham, Meghan McCain, Elizabeth Hasselbeck… if this is the Republican Party, I’m re-registering as an Independent.
The next time I find myself in court, I’m going to insist that I face a white, female judge. After all, she’s the only person who’s “lived my kind of life.” Think that will fly?

This ultra leftist banshee will be confirmed but the idiot Republicans had BETTER put her through the wringer. She has the ultimate ethnic identity victim mentality.
Bring it out into the open and let her defend it! She has the affirmative action Obamaesque intellect.

Sign of the times.
That she can make the admission she did in that video in the way that she did, and still get nominated for the Supreme Court spells BIG trouble.
Why even bother to have elections?

Agree with you on virtually all points. But Cardozo was Hispanic? Seriously? He was the native-born son of Jews whose ancestors had immigrated from the Netherlands (having, several centuries before, left Portugal).
[IA: HAVE TO DISAGREE. MOST BIOGRAPHERS AGREE THAT CARDOZO IDENTIFIED AS HISPANIC AND TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HIS STATUS AS A SEPHARDIC (SPANISH) JEW. IT IS NOT CERTAIN WHETHER OR NOT HIS PARENTS WERE OF PORTUGUESE OR HISPANIC DESCENT. HE WAS AS HISPANIC AS ANYONE ELSE CLAIMING TO BE HISPANIC IN AMERICA. “How many Republicans will have the cojones to call Sotomayor to the carpet for her anti-male, anti-White statements?” Maybe Jeff Sessions of Alabama. He is good at putting the screws to liberals. As for Hasslebeck she just wants to get along and is a liberal who says she is Republican because she doesn’t want to be identified as a Democrat. She is one of those “I am too good looking to be around those people so I can’t be one of them. So I’ll call myself Republican.” She is a f**king airhead to the end. By the way I am of Hispanic descent and I don’t consider myself to be more or less important than any group. But if you are illegal then you should have no importance to this country. She is a total dumbass.
Debbie Schlussel for SCOTUS!!

“I am wise! I have rich experience! I am wonderful! I love love love myself!”
Men…don’t talk like that because they would be embarrassed to GUSH over themselves in public – its a little sickening. I guess I’m old. I remember when Stan Musial would hit a home run and walk back to the dugout with that casual ‘all in a day’s work’ look on his face. Long before fist-pumping high fives and end zone dances.

There’s a reason why Babwa Walters keeps Hasselback on that lame show. It’s because what better person to articulate moderate political views (she’s no Conservative) than a ditz who can’t defend her views because she, herself, doesn’t know what Conservatism is. So, Walters & company then proceed to label her a Conservative, mock her, and walk all over her while Hasselback stammers and looks like a deer caught in the headlights. Walters doesn’t want a true Conservative on that bitchfest because she knows a smart Conservative can pick apart Liberal policies like a vulture tearing through a carcass.
It’s by design that Walters keeps that brain-dead moron on that shit show.

I hope Sotomayor’s nomination to the SCOTUS gets blocked. Because, ANY judge that makes a claim to making policy from the bench, MUST get a thumbs down. Matter of fact, she should, for making that statement, be impeached, and tossed from the court.

It is obvious that most Democrats and Republicans and even most American citizens do not believe that the legislative branch is where national legal policy is defined, and accept courts making policy that even overturns elections. The Constitution is for all practical purpose DEAD, and has been dead since at least the 1960’s. This appointment speaks with open contempt for the Constitution.
America has become an anarchy ruled over by elites feeding us PC pablum. For me, America no longer exists.

California screaming: Hasselbeck is not attractive. Her face is rodent-like. She looks like Mighty Mouse. I’m tired of people telling me that all these unattractive people are beautiful–as in Michelle Obama is beautiful. Am I supposed to ignore what my eyes are seeing?

lexi on May 26, 2009 at 5:37 pm

Debbie, I am disappointed, too. They have replaced a Jewish person with a Gentile and that’s after we all voted for BHO (excepting present company). If RBG’s replacement isn’t MOT I’m gonna riot.

Anonymous1, Judge David Souter was not Jewish (though I used to think he was). You must be getting him and Stephen Breyer confused (Breyer is Jewish). Souter and Judge Stevens were the last two Protestants on the court. Now there will be just one.
I’m sure that Judge Bader Ginsberg will retire before Obama’s re-election. At that point, I’ll bet you almost anything that she’ll be replaced with the similarly Jewish and liberal Elena Kagan.
As for Cardozo – well, his family lived in the U.S. for 100 years before he was born. Previously, they lived in Holland and then England. “Family stories” have the family coming from Portugal originally, but this has not been traced formally. Many Portuguese-Americans reject the description of Hispanic or Latino (if they were, that would make half-Portuguese Tom Hanks a Latino). So, I would certainly say that the facts line up to Cardozo not being Hispanic. (Not that it matters in who should have been nominated)

I don’t know much about her, but what about her statement that policy is made on the bench is false?
In the U of M affirmative action case that went to the supreme court, how was that not determining policy? What about all those court cases where they’ve ruled that gay marriage bans aren’t legal? How about the Kelo Supreme Court case? Roe v. Wade?
Like it or not, policy is made in courts, and you’re a fool if you think otherwise. So, are you all angry at her for pointing it out?

LibertarianBulbasaur on May 28, 2009 at 1:20 am

Benjamin Cardozo was a Portuguese Jew(very rare by the way). Cardozo is a Portuguese name. How he is even being considered a spic, is beyond me. Portugal and Spain are two totally different countries in every aspect(language, culture, cuisine, etc…). The only thing these two countries have in common, are that of being neighbors. France also neighbors Spain and i doubt people are confusing the French of being spics. Such ignorance! I am Portuguese/American, and would be furious if someone confused me with being spic.
