VIDEO: Tasteless Punking of Brainless TV News Anchors Stunt of the Week

I debated whether I should post this video of the brainless local TV anchors in Detroit getting punked and p3wned in the most low-class and tasteless of ways (thanks to Jason Brown of Public City PR for the tip). But I’ve decided to post it to point out, yet again, how easy the mainstream media are fooled into repeating anything they’re fed without using the tiniest of fact-checking, or in this case, common sense and brains. You didn’t have to be Einstein to catch this filthy prank.
And what’s worse is that I’ve pointed out how this same exact “news” operation, NBC’s Detroit affiliate, WDIV, has done this before, merely repeating false press releases (from groups on the left) as fact, as they did when WDIV repeated as fact the false press release from the Muslim-dominated, pro-HAMAS/Hezbolah American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee claiming that an Islamic charity, LIFE for Relief and Development, had been cleared by the FBI of all ties to terrorism (the local FOX-owned affiliate did the same thing). The group was never cleared. But WDIV never checked with the FBI, just like they didn’t think twice that there just might not be a guy with this name who just turned a certain age . . .
Yes, the prank is juvenile, low-class, and tasteless. But it worked because these people are totally brainless.
For the record, the brainless anchorwoman is Rhonda Walker. She works out at the same gym as I do and is a complete airhead. Shocker. (Her husband is former NFL player Derek Walker.)
Also for the record, these birthday segments are stupid. Unless the person turned 90 or 100, who cares?
Is Rhonda as stupid as Peter Jennings? Toss up.
