This is CNN: Producer’s Insane Tirade Against Israel; Imagine Being Married to This Chick

By Debbie Schlussel
Tom Gross posts this video he took of Nidal Rafa, who was CNN’s producer based in Jerusalem. Watch this tantrum she has with Israeli former US Ambassador Danny Ayalon, and remember that all CNN coverage of the Mid-East–especially Israel–is filtered through the overtly propagandized lens of pan-terrorists like her. You can’t trust a lick of it. Can you imagine being married to this kalbeh [Arabic for dog/bi-otch]? It’s like your worst nightmare. Must Read: Tom’s background on the video and Nidal Rafa.

What fascinates me is the cultural disparity demonstrated here. There is the Muslim approach of talking loudly and a lot with the goal being your opponent will stop talking themselves. The Jewish feller is trying to reason (you know, that Western notion of using facts, arguments, logic-very non-Muslim) with the histrionic kalbeh to no avail. So….what to do with such people? Well, I would suggest ordnance has a calming effect on congenitally illogical, unreasonable people.

Hi Debbie,
Ayalon was ambassador to the United States from 2002-2006, arguably a far more important position. He was never ambassador to the United Nations.

would you try to have a rational discussion with a snake? or a spider? Some people only understand greater might.

I love that he asks her what I ask all my leftwing friends, if terrorism is all about the occupation, then why did it exist before 1967? Why was Israel attacked three times before they captured the land? Why was there never talk about a Palestinian state while Egypt and Jordan controlled the territories? I can still picture the stupid expression on one person’s face when I asked her those questions. She had been on a tirade like the woman in the video and she just stopped cold. Finally she just said I didn’t understand her and there was no point talking to me.

Nidal Rafa is clearly saying “fascist” for the purpose of poisoning Western minds. She would not use that accusation in an Arab setting, because many Arabs and Muslims admire fascist governments and have no problem with the Nazis other than the fact that they didn’t “finish the job.”
Nidal is the perfect illustration of why Israel should never surrender territory to Arabs with the hope of achieving peace. It should also avoid American-style investment in winning “hearts and minds” at the expense of protecting its own population.
Here is a woman who is an Israeli citizen, lives in the city with a history of positive relations between Jews and Arabs. Someone in her family or clan decided that if they didn’t attack Jews in 1947-1948, they would be safe staying put rather than fleeing with the others. She has better (and free of charge) health care than not just Arabs living in the Arab League states, but probably better than what most Arabs receive in Europe or even what most white Europeans are offered. If she wanted, she had the opportunity to attend a fine university of the type that doesn’t exist in Arab countries. She can advocate in the most hostile, disloyal and libelous way against her own government, including for its destruction, without the slightest reason to fear for her safety. Nidal is legally free to practice–or not practice–whatever religious observances or sexual lifestyle she prefers. And when she travels in the West, regardless all the advantages she has that would make millions of people jealous, she is treated as the ultimate victim who needs to be honored, indulged and cried over.
Despite all the above, her defining characteristic is her implacable hatred of Israel. She is willing to engage in whatever falsehood or propaganda campaign in the service of that hatred. The Jews are so despicable, in her eyes, that even one of their leaders doesn’t deserve the courtesy to speak free of insults and profanity when trying to engage Arabs and journalists in a discussion of issues.
With people like her, there is no room to compromise if she can’t even temper her hatred out of respect for herself as a professional in a work-related setting.
Khaled Abu Toameh is an exceptional reporter with more integrity than most of the Western (or even Israeli) journalists. He is a true moderate. Unfortunately, there are too few Abu Toamehs and far too many Nidals.

Debbie,
Where Ayalon was ambassador wasn’t your mistake. It was Nidal Rafa’s. This is from the transcript (I’m in the process of posting it on my site as well):
NR: And you want to decide, you want people to believe, that you as previous ambassador to the UN, sorry to say fascist, fascist [..] party… where this party… I am the indigenous people, I have been here as my grandfather was here before the State of Israel [..]
You just picked it up from her screaming. But she’s wrong. He was ambassador to the US. Danny Gillerman was ambassador to the UN at the time.

AMAZING how these “women” can’t raise the tone of their voices to OPPOSE stoning, killing, terrorists, muslim extremists, etc. but they become “oh so brave” when it involves Christians/Jewish People. Sounds just like Democrats.
