Bingo: Ibrahim Kassim Saleh Charged w/ Shooting Black Dude in the Back Over Condoms

Yesterday, I told you what’s really behind the murder of a Black thug at a Detroit gas station in an argument over the price of condoms: Islamic racism against Blacks. As I told you, there’s a history of racism and violent attacks, including murder, against Black customers by Arab Muslim gas station owners and clerks. I told you I’d bet my bottom dollar that the man who shot Michael Haynes would have an Arab Muslim name. And whaddya know? Today, Ibrahim Kassim Saleh, age 23, was charged with first degree murder for shooting Haynes in the back as he was leaving the gas station.

While no one defends the behavior of Haynes, who pushed over shelves of merchandise during an argument about the price of condoms he’d just purchased, that is no excuse to shoot him in the back as he was leaving. While Haynes was a scumbag, had a criminal record (for home invasion and cocaine possession), and the streets are probably a little cleaner with his loss, the fact is that–as I’ve told you–there have been many like him who were attacked by Arab Muslim gas station workers and owners, who did not have criminal records and did not throw merchandise on the ground. Yet, they met the same fate. This is about Arab Muslim violence and racism against Blacks that spans continents. It’s part of Arab Muslim culture that refers to Blacks as “abed” (slave) or “abeed” (slaves), a vernacular that is the Arabic equivalent of the N-word.

Is Saleh a U.S. citizen? Or is he an illegal alien or green card holder? It will be interesting to see just who he is, but don’t hold your breath for the mainstream media to answer these questions, let alone ask them in the first place.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced charges against a gas station attendant who is accused of shooting and killing a customer after a dispute over condoms.

Ibrahim Kassim Saleh, 23, has been charged with First Degree Murder and is also facing a Felony Firearm charge in the death of 24-year-old Michael Haynes.

The shooting took place at the BP gas station on Fenkell on Saturday, March 10 around 1:00 a.m.

Saleh was working when Haynes came in to purchase condoms. A verbal argument broke out. Haynes reportedly pushed over shelves of merchandise.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Saleh came out from behind the counter and shot Haynes in the back as he was leaving the station.

Sure he was charged. I wouldn’t expect anything less from black-run Detroit. BTW, counselor, DAs typically over charge to get a confession or plea deal. This is not first degree murder.

No one deserves to be shot in the back for leaving a store. Michael Haynes wasn’t a saint to be sure but using deadly force against someone who isn’t threat to you is illegal. Ibrahim Kassim Saleh crossed that line and convenience store/gas station clerks know the difference between a dispute with a customer and an armed holdup. Hanynes may have been justifiably angry at his treatment by the store clerk and who wouldn’t be? He didn’t take it out on the clerk and when he left the gas station there was no reason for him to be murdered like that. We’ll have to see if justice is done.

Amen and well said Norman, but in FrenchKiss’ viewpoint, he or she will probably comeback here and probably attack you and continue to talk out his/her ass and defend Mr. Saleh for deliberatley shooting and killing Michael Haynes. And as you said and the article here claims, Mr. Haynes was no saint and not a great person, the guy was a low-life who had a terrible criminal record with shady behaviors, etc.

Debbie, who is an attorney can inform you in every state in this country, you’re allowed to deadly force only to save your own life or someone else’s life. You are not allowed to use deadly force to protect property. That is always and will be a felony, in MI and everywhere else in this country.

In Texas we have what is called the Castle law. Basically it states that a person can use deadly force to protect his or another’s property. I’m not sure if the phrase “fearing for one’s life” is in the law anywhere.

Joe Horn, I believe, saw a neighbor’s home being robbed, called 911 and told them he was going to shoot the robbers. (Bad idea). He confronted them and shot both of them to death. He was initially charged, but I think the grand jury no billed him.

And also, for one who’s harboring and/or enabling a fugitive or criminal should be arrested as well, because there just as dangerous as the fugitives their protecting.

First off all, FrenchKiss it seems like you’re defending the shooter and criminal, Mr. Saleh, what he did to that black guy was complete murder. Secondly, Debbie since you’re a Michigan resident, do they have the death penalty in you’re home-state? If they do have the death penalty, do you think the state of Michigan will give Ibrahim Saleh the death penalty for shooting Mr. Haynes when he was leaving the arab-muslim owned gas station!

Sean R, MI has no state death penalty. The most Saleh could get if he is convicted is life imprisonment without parole.

Sean,my only concern with a first degree murder charge is that it requires proof of pre-meditation. That is a tricky thing to prove without witnesses or other incriminating evidence. If that evidence is available, the prosecutor should go for the maximum However, if such evidence is not at hand, it would probably be best to go for murder in the second degree, which would still see Mr. Saleh facing 20+ years in a prison. I think the video would readily support that.

Worry, prosecutors usually overcharge. I would bet that he gets convicted of second degree murder.

But the one variable the prosecution can’t control is the jury makeup.

And if there any Muslims on the jury, I would bet odds are good for a hung jury at the conclusion of the trial.

Norman, I am aware that prosecutors tend to overcharge. It is done for political reasons, but it is seldom wise. You risk, as you noted, a jury using such an overcharge as an excuse to let someone off. We saw that in the Casey Anthony case. Getting a solid conviction is better than going a bridge too far and risking everything. Finally, if a first degree conviction is not pretty air tight, you risk as a prosecutor the trial court’s verdict being successfully appealed. If you manage to put Saleh away for roughly a quarter of a century, you have accomplished something as a prosecutor.

Has Saleh’s immigration status ever been checked? Debbie hasn’t reported ICE taking an interest in the case. If he’s here illegally, betcha are there hundreds of thousands of others like him all over this country.

Not that ICE is serious about deporting criminal aliens as is required by federal law.

I have worked in a convenience store and have some appreciation for what happened here. Haynes was likely a young man (he was buying condoms at 1:00 A.M. and was doubtless in a hurry. Saleh was 23. Two young men with, for different reasons, testosterone levels rising, and with (likely) few cultural inhibitions against impulses (Haynes had a record of home invasion (probably a plea) Saleh is Muslim (offended by an infidel, etc.))and this is what you get.

Get ready for a lot more of this!

Debbie, this seems to be an interesting conundrum for the D.A. Predominantly Black culture with aggressive Muslim subculture. Lose/lose?

Charles, you’re probably right that this blend is a lose/lose in the Detroit Metro and in many other areas of the country. I have been forced to teach “Diversity” training in Corporate America for about 20 years now and one thing that shows up very clearly in my classes is black racism against just about everyone (but especially Arabs and Hispanics) and Arab (or Muslim) racism against pretty much everyone. White people have been sufficiently conditioned (or cowed) so they don’t make ANY overtly racist statements in public (at least at work), so I find white students are pretty quiet and cooperative, but the blacks and the Muslims are very vocally racist. I think blacks have gotten a pass for their racism for decades, and Muslims are getting a pass for pretty much everything these days.

Beatrice, there are racial crimes out there. Also, whites have been convicted of them and it has been reported. There were regular lynchings of Blacks in the South instigated by the Ku Klux Klan and individuals decades ago. That only began to permanently disappear after the federal government applied pressure or intervened towards the end of the Civil Rights Era. In addition, the Black community seems to think there is a racial bent to what is going on with these convenience store owners, since not too long ago there was a boycott. Denying access to paying Black customers the right to use a bathroom and other amenities is in direct violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 regarding public accommodations. Beatrice, if you are involved with this sort of discrimination in Detroit, you could be held legally liable for it. Squealing or screaming will change nothing in those situations.

Perhaps he had a rough day, or had family killed by black thugs. A good lawyer would advise him to plead insanity.
The funny thing in this case is that both the perp and the victim though from different cultures share one commonality. No respect for human life.

mr.haynes went into the gas station nd bought a loose condom, wen he was supposed to pay the 1.50 he only payed the dollar bcuz he didnt wanna split no other bills then the clerk was argued with him to pay the other fifty cents..because this happens everywhere nd everyday with people asking the clerk to let them slide or they gonna pay next time nd its not a rescue mission or charity case so its either u go in a store expecting to pay the price or save the clerk from the same headache he gets every day…the clerk should not have opened fire at him but once the tape is released the truth will come out
