Personally I’m selfishly glad this is happening. I’m hypersensitive to caffeine and knowing this information will be useful in trying to limit my intake.
That being said, I know I’m in a minority. A pretty small minority. And labeling everything and its uncle in detail just isn’t practical. Just listing it as an ingredient should be sufficient and the burden really should be on me to find out what the caffeine levels are for a give product.

Since I haven’t had a soda in nearly 2.5 years, and I don’t plan on ever drinking another in my life, this really doesn’t impact me. But one question I have to ask: Is knowing the caffeine content of their soda going to change anyone’s beverage habits?

I worked in a factory where 80% of the work force always had a Mountain Dew within arms length.

I made the mistake of trying an “energy drink” today–you know teh ind with Ginseng and caffeine. Well it was a “buzz” and great energy for about 90 minutes–but whoa that crash was rough. Never again.
