Famous D-List Has-Been Child Actor “Conservative” Now in the Tank for B (Hussein) O

By Debbie Schlussel
I’ve always been tired of conservatives eager to find validation for their views in proud high school graduates who make their living in vapid silver screen propaganda and/or shrill, annoying screams of sheep a/k/a music. If you need to find a C- or D-list celeb to validate your views, you’re an idiot (and though you may hate to admit it, a lot of the Palin-worship falls in this category).
One of those C-List guys who is always on the list of “look who kinda sorta agrees with us” is Ricky Schroder, whose last best work happened a couple of decades ago or more (take your pick from “Silver Spoons” and “The Champ”). (Sorry, but he wasn’t all that in “NYPD Blue” or “Return to Lonesome Dove”.)
Well, this guy to whom some turned for validation, is now attacking “partisanship” and announcing his support for Obama by showing up at the Inauguration. He’s appearing at the “Declare Yourself’s ‘New Birth of Citizenship’ Gala” ball, along with Jamie Foxx, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan’s lesbian lover DJ Samantha Ronson, and some others, and told USA Today this (which is strangely only in the print edition and not online, where it was substituted by a quote from actress Hayden Pannetiere):

rickyschroder.jpgbarackobama.jpg

I’m excited to hear his ideas. I hope he can unify this country. Even though I didn’t personally vote for Obama, I feel like he deserves my support. He’s my president. I’m tired of the partisanship of the last 16 years. It’s bad for our country. It’s tearing us down.

HUH? I guess Schroder won’t mind that Obama has already reached out to terrorist group HAMAS and Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez nor will h e care when Obama starts hanging with Iran’s Ahmadinejad. After all, to oppose this is “partisanship” that would “tear us down,” right?
Here’s a clue, Ricky:
Partisanship is good for America. It’s an important check and balance on one party run amok, which is what they have in monarchies and dictatorships.
But we all know it’s cool, hip, and chic to decry “partisanship” . . . especially when you looking for work in Hollywood and stuck in cable TV movie hell.
Think about this the next time you cheer on these celebs like Schroder or Ted Nugent–a draft-dodger who fathered 7 kids with 5 different women, three of them out of wedlock–for adopting your views.

He’s no different than Elisabeth Hasselbeck or other Hollywood idiots like them who lick
the tip of their finger and stick it in the air.
Remember, Hollywood is all about being rich, feeling important and popular.
It doesn’t matter who you’re rooting for as long as it accomplishes the above personal goals.

There’s nothing wrong with opposing Obama every step of the way. People with different values and world views will seldom agree. And those of us who didn’t vote for him should set aside our differences, for what exactly? Its telling the Democrats are more conciliatory towards America’s adversaries abroad than towards their domestic opponents here at home. Its going to be long hard four years… perhaps longer.

Independent, in lefty Hollywood being cool, trendy and hip matter more than faith, tradition and custom. The things that matter to the Left are things of the world and the moment. To conservatives, the things that matter are the transcendent and timeless truths far older than the world. You won’t see the latter much in evidence in tomorrow’s inauguration but what we hold onto will never go out of style since in the end substance speaks to the truth far more powerfully than a lot of nothing. And a lot of nothing is what Americans will be set to get under President Obama.

NormanF, all what you wrote about the Hollywood Lefties I summarized in three words: Feeling important and popular.
And standing on principles don’t add much to the bank account.
Remember, Conservatives are “narrow minded” people: they love God, country and family.
They can’t successfully function in such a “morally progressive, advanced” culture like Hollywood.
We, Conservatives, are retarded and we are proud of it!!
There, the quote of the new century.

This may be pure and simple opportunism; these hacks want to advance their careers & they know which political views will help them in Hollywood and enhance their overall reputations.
I am sure there are some opportunists who supported Palin also, but whatever else her faults, she is pro-American which puts her way, way above Hussein and his supporters. It also puts her supporters above his supporters, since at least they are supporting a pro-American candidate. And given the performance of Republican officeholders and Republican ‘pundits’ in the last couple of months, I don’t think she looks bad at all by comparison.
[CF: SARAH PALIN HADN’T A CLUE WHY SHE SUPPORTED ANYTHING (EXCEPT THAT SHE WANTED TO BE VP) AND COULDN’T EVEN SAY WHICH MAGAZINES OR NEWSPAPERS SHE READ. SHE WAS AN EMPTY VESSEL WITH LIMITLESS AMBITION, WHICH MAKES HER AS BAD IF NOT WORSE. AFTER A TON OF COACHING, SHE WAS MOLDED TO SAY SHE SUPPORTED CONDI CLUELESS, A PALESTINIAN STATE, IMMIGRATION AMNESTY, ETC. VERY DANGEROUS. BUSH WAS ALMOST AS DUMB AND IGNORANT, AND ALMOST AS EASILY MOLDED. WE SAW THE SAD RESULTS. DS]

Rip them a new one Debbie!
There is an saying; ” all that glitter’s is not gold” , that includes dirt bags scumbags aka Ted Nugent and others. Looks like BHO , BHO is not getting the royal welcome from the countries that wanted him elected !
“Just two months ago, the future president seemed a cross between Superman and Merlin the magician,” Massimo Gramellini wrote in a commentary for Italy’s La Stampa newspaper. “Now he himself admits he won’t be able to keep all his promises, and who knows? Maybe someone will ask for his impeachment by the end of next week.”
That is not a bad ideal, that should include Pelosi, Franks, Dood, the Las Vegas Prince Harry Ried!
“The idealism has diminished,” said Samuel Solvit, who heads an Obama support network in France. “Everyone was dreaming a little. Now people are more realistic.” BHO , BHO song should be ” Dream Weaver ” ! Or as my grand mother used to say; ” Your Dreaming ” !
Muslims want to know why Obama hasn’t joined the chorus of international criticism of Israel’s Gaza offensive. Last week posters of him were set on fire in Tehran to shouts of “Death to Obama!”
“By the time Obama takes office, hundreds or thousands more will be killed in Gaza and it will be too late for him to act,” said Adel Fawzi, an Egyptian government clerk in Cairo.
Get this!
Obama has expressed concern about Gaza, but says he’s reluctant to say much more until his inauguration. This guy is a liberal whimp, no ball’s BHO, BHO !
Meanwhile the global economic collapse is already closing in on him. Around the world, leaders and their publics are waiting to see what he does to calm roiled markets and restore confidence.
What is Obama good for, Absolutely NOTHING !
“Useless as a tit on a bull” !

If I were the Obama people I wouldn’t want to get ANYWHERE the word “citizenship”. Obama is technically an illegal alien.
Schroeder, Hasselbeck, etc. is no different from Bill Kristol, Charles Krauthammer, Fred Barnes. They don’t want to be shut out of the parties and Georgetown soirees. Except that Hasselbeck looks like a rodent and is stoopid.

I attended the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach back in ’88 and ’89. I don’t remember if I went in ’90 or even which year it happened by Ricky Schroder won the celebrity race they ran in the Celica’s. My buddy and I had Super-Photo passes so we were all over the race course. We happened to be in front of the main grandstands as Schroder was giving his speach after winning the celebrity race. In his victory speach Ricky claimed, “This is the greatest day of my life!”
I responded to that by imediately yelling to the crowd, “Then get a life!” It had my buddy in stitches and the timing was such that the crowd’s response was as much to my comment as it was the speach. I’ve got a really loud voice when I want to and I got a pretty good response from the crowd.

Hollywood creeps and the media creeps deserve to have their Obama orgy tomorrow. Shroder is just a dude who acts for a living. The King gets his coronation as the crowd chants “We are not worthy”. KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA with its accomplice the Media will complete the destruction of America.
Guys like Shroder want to stay relevant so they jump the fence. You wont be invited to the cocktail parties staying a Conservative these days. Well I am glad Rush, Ann Coulter and you Debbie haven’t budged an inch. Seeing Ann on the air lately was great as she didn’t back down from the Sleestacks of the View. With more conservatives jumping for the COBRAMA train, the Media will try and find remaining Conservatives to vilify. As for Vanity his show without Alan Combes sucks. At least guests would spar. He had Hasselback on his first show. If this what conservatives looks like on his show then I hope he fails.

I have to disagree with you, california. As bad as Hannity is, (that groveler) Alan Colmes is so much worse. Colmes is a dishonest debater, to say nothing about his thin voice and hideous physical appearance.
