Why is it not bigotted to have Muslim countries, but it IS bigotted to claim a country to be Christian? Why isn’t it racist to have Asian countries, Hispanic, Black, or Arab countries, but it IS racist to say we need a White country? Don’t whites deserve a place for them?

When people describe countries as Asian, Hispanic, black, Arab, etc., I think they’re describing the conditions as they are, not some governmental ruling that the country be that way. And thus, America isn’t a white country, since so many of us aren’t white.
While the reality on the ground may be closer to the way you described (no doubt lots of countries with almost no minority population are very discriminatory), why would you consider that desirable? I’m all for discriminating against those with hateful and destructive belief systems, but skin color and ancestral ethnicity are worthless classifications.
Whites do not need a place *for* them. Whites need the same sort of place everyone else does: a place where they can live freely and conduct their lives as they see fit. Nothing exclusively “white” about that.

That would be fine and dandy except we have The Black Caucus, The Hispanic Caucus, LaRaza, MEChA, NAACP etc etc etc. So your premise while sounding good on paper is seriously flawed. Or do you only hold whites to that standard? It is these group who continually harp on and focus on race. In your perfect world this would not happen yet here we are. So as long as “whites” have to keep giving ground all in the convoluted name of “multiculturalism” you can take your make believe world and go live there.

No, I hold everyone to that standard. I find all of those special caucuses, La Raza, et al to be disgraceful. I put them in the same category as white supremacist groups.
Now you tell me: why are you urging whites to sink to that level? Whites may be held to a higher standard when it comes to identity politics, but that just means you should hold everyone else to the same standard, not that you should demand that you be held to a lower standard, too.

Dan, I would “sink to the level”, as you put it, of encouraging a place for whites to call their own, because EVERYBODY ELSE ON EARTH IS DOING IT. Blacks have almost the entire African continent for THEIR people, including the Carribean, and “Chocolate City”. Asians have an entire continent; even the Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, etc don’t mix. Not very diverse, are they? How “diverse” are the Muslims, Arabs, Persians, Hispanics, etc. Only whites are “diverse” and we are becoming extinct because of it.

As the linked JP article points out–and as you and other realists know–the islamo-fascists ALWAYS take any effort at peaceful co-existence as weakness. They use our goodwill against us.
I support the approach of “overwhelming response.” Each time an act of aggression comes from these muslims–they have to be hit back several times as hard. They will never quit–so the only way to slow them down is to make their aggressiveness work against them. Sharon understoond this and did it. Ohlmert doesn’t have the guts to pay this price. He’s trying to out do Jimmy Carter, it seems, in appeasing the muslims.
Now in the USA, and the rest of the free world–we are still likewise just as naieve. We fancy that we can make peace with these muslimes. It can’t be done–and sadly, the only time we begin to “get it” is after another outrageous attack that is bad enough to get our attention. Like your other story shows about the first attack on the Twin Towers, we would rather be like ostriches with our heads in the sand than to deal in reality. Yet even after the 911 attacks–how many really have learned the reality of this conflict? After Pearl Harbor in 1941, we didn’t quit until we had victory. This time, we are quitting because the enemy cannot be as easily identified and we are too busy with the Oscars and such nonsense.
Keep fighting the good fight, Debbie. We have no choice. The truth is there for anyone who wants to see it–but there are few who can actually point it out. You are one of those few. Sound the shofar and wake us up!!

I’m not going to get in some sort of name calling contest. You can have all the “personal standards” you want but in the real world what you suggest does not exist. Race politics is very alive and well. All your “pride” won’t change a thing.

That’s all fine and well but until such a time as that becomes a reality I will now longer accept the undermining of Western Culture nor subject my family to such nonsense that destroys our way of life, radically changes our country and in fact puts my family in greater danger.

What ever happened to American pride that we’re a better people than everyone else? I’m quite proud of the fact that I come from a country where anyone from anywhere in the world can move here, work hard, make a life for themselves, and be fully accepted as Americans. This has always been the American ideal, and we would be far worse off if we suddenly decided that we needed to be an officially white country.

See, I don’t care about that. If “white” were a culture, then I might agree with you. I’m both white and Jewish, and the white part means nothing to me. I’m all for having more Jewish people around, but it doesn’t matter to me if they’re black, white, South American, Oriental, whatever. It’s the ideology that matters, not pigmentation.
So, what is this white culture you’re trying to hold onto? New England white liberal culture? Northern European socialist white culture? Decadent California white culture? All of those are pretty distinctly “white.” Or is that not what you had in mind by white culture?
