Another Donor List We Must See: Who Gave Millions to CIA-Director-in-Waiting Leona Panetta?

By Debbie Schlussel
In order to get his wife vetted for Secretary of State, Bill Clinton released the donor list to his foundation. But, now, there’s another list we must see: who donated about $10 million to the Leon and Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy?
Panetta, with absolutely no experience in intelligence, is Barack Obama’s choice for CIA Director. Since he has no intelligence expertise, he will be especially vulnerable to influence from those who paid most of his salary for the last decade or more. And we need to see the donor list. Frankly, he was more reliant on those donors than Bill and Hillary Clinton were on donors to Mr. Clinton’s charity. Panetta and his wife, Sylvia, apparently used the money to live on. Other than serving as a director for the New York Stock Exchange from 1997-2003, the money was the Panetta’s apparent main source of income.
Check out a copy of the latest tax filing on record for the Leon & Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy. On the “Support Schedule”–which is the 13th page of the entire tax return–the Panettas list about $4 million for the years 2003-2006. There were likely in excess of $10 million in donations in the eleven years that this organization existed.

Who Paid Leon Panetta’s Salary for the Last Eleven Years?

Where did it come from? We deserve to know, so that we know who will potentially influence the U.S. spy game over the next four years or so.
So, come on, Mr. and Mrs. Panetta, release the list of your donors.

I hope those who voted for the half-white are feeling good about it. I hope they won’t feel that they are “racist” ever again.
Indeed, we are not short of masochists in this country.
“Change” is coming to town! Sure.
Hopefully, we can change the “change” soon enough before it explodes in our face.

All the major journalists go around with their fingers in their noses and dunce caps while Debbie goes for the jugular every time – REAL journalism. HARD questions.

The major journalists are also ignoring the fact that Obama is not a NATURAL BORN citizen of the US. It doesn’t matter whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya–his father was not a US citizen. Both parents must be US citizens in order for the child to be a natural born citizen.

I think Obama was “between a rock and a hard place” with this nomination, but he was responsible for putting himself there.
Obama has been insisting on a policy of no torture, and he demanded his nominee go along with that. However, every competent intelligence person they wanted realized torture was necessary and refused to take the job.
As long as Obama insists on a policy of no torture we will either not have competent people (and this nomination is a perfect example of that) or we will have competent people who will not take competent actions.
We are in serious jeopardy of losing one or two cities to weapons of mass destruction during the next four years unless Obama gets the memo.

Great catch Debbie. I’d be interested in finding out about that $10M question. Your questions are valid and should be answered. This, IMO, is one of the most important positions in our government. It’s very odd that Mr. Panetta has been offered this position given zip experience. What’s up with that? Thanks…Orlin from Marquette

Miss Schlussel, Et Alii:
Although I vaguely remember the name, I don’t know anything about Leon Panetta’s background, or why he was selected for this position.
How do you know for certain that Leon Panetta has no experience in clandestine intelligence operations?
Clandestine operatives do not advertise their clandestine activities, and can literally operate for years using a plausible cover story, i.e., “politician”, “lobbyist”, “Congessional staff”, “diplomat”, or “Presidential aide”.
Since Leon Panetta is being appointed to an executive position, he’ll be behind a desk, assisted by an army of career bureaucrats who do have training and experience in clandestine intelligence.
The executive doesn’t really do anything, does he?
Isn’t it that vast army of bureaucrats who really do all the actual work and influence decisions?
Now, as for the donated money you referred to, I don’t know quite what to think about that.
There’s been a conspiracy theory postulated ever since the Second World War that La Cosa Nostra and the Office of Strategic Services (which later became the Central Intelligence Agency) were in cahoots, and “Panetta” does sound like an Italian name.
(I’m laughing as I type this!)
Even if it were true, how could anybody prove it?
Further, with such a corrupt government supported by a voting population that appears grossly ignorant, who is going to take notice or even care?
I reckon what I’m saying is, instead of all of us rushing to judgement and eagerly jumping on the band wagon, maybe we should just wait and see.
Of course, since it was Barack Hussein Obama who appointed Leon Panetta, and Leon Panetta did work for President and Mrs. Clinton, then obviously, those are very ominous indications.
There’s been all sorts of organized crime conspiracy theories surrounding President and Mrs. Clinton, and there’s no shortage of accusations towards Barack Hussein Obama.
Thank you.

Change my arse. As far as I can see, Obummer’s administration is nothing more than a Clinton redux.

I certainly agree that the donor list for the Panettas should be made public. I also think there is another reason Panetta may have been appointed. As you mention, he has absolutely no experience in intelligence. This will make him particularly susceptible to whatever Obama feels like doing, and will also make him particularly susceptible to the CIA bureaucracy, which we know is quite liberal. Obama may have been afraid that someone with real intelligence experience might have turned out to be another James Woolsey, i.e. someone who thinks for himself and would not necessarily follow the party line.

RE : OBAMA a citizen ????
I do not believe he meets the criteria to be
president otherwise why would he be hiding his birth certificate ? Duh !
However, it is NOT TRUE that both parents have to
be citizens ! The law is quite detailed on this
( see Philip Berg’s web site obamacrimes.com ).
I hear that there are groups ready to file law
suits after every document Obama signs as a fake
president challenging the documents legality. I
certainly hope so !

Veterans Beware: leon Panetta is pulling another fast one. If Leon Panetta gets his way, Medical benefits for all Veterans, as we know them today, will no longer exist. Mr. Panetta says he is thinking about cutting Medical benefits for all who have served their country so well. I have a suggeston why don’t we take away his medical Benefits, and while we’re at it, take away, the House and Senates Medical also, that would save Millions. With their inflated salaried income (which we pay) they can well afford it. Also lets not give Foreign aid to countrys that hate us. Most of this money goes directly to the Govering party anyway, and does nothing to help it’s people. If our leaders can’t appoint people who will serve us properly, then we must vote them out come election day.
