Definition of a Failed President, Failed Man

By Debbie Schlussel
It’s quite pathetic–and it says it all–when a President enlists two women, one of whom is his wife, to defend his eight years in office. Even if a man weren’t President, it would be quite wimpy to rely on two women, including his wife, to defend him. With a President, it’s just downright embarrassing.
If I were Osama Bin Laden, this would be the next video commentary, as it says everything he’s tried to imply about America’s men for the last seven years.

Bad Defense: Hiding Behind the Chicks

It reminds me of when Michigan’s Republican Attorney General Mike Cox–the diminutive man who wants to become our next governor and who has allowed illegal aliens and pregnant Muslim illegal aliens to scam Michigan taxpayers–gave a press conference acknowledging just one of his ongoing, multiple extramarital affairs (which he claimed ended, but didn’t). He enlisted his crying wife and had her stand at the podium as a prop, as if to shield the nakedness that was being exposed in his silly press conference. He, like Bush, regularly panders to Islamic groups who openly support Hezbollah and HAMAS.

Yup, the Republican men who rely on women to defend their inadequacies and incompetence really aren’t men at all. They’re just males. And wimps. And not worthy of our respect.
Real men stand up for themselves. They take credit for their wins and they stand by and accept blame their losses. And they defend their records themselves. They neither accept, nor rely upon, someone with a uterus to do it for them.
Oh, and lest you think I’m singling out Republicans and so-called conservatives, I am, indeed. We already know the Democrats are the party of Woody Allen and Pee Wee Herman, and we expect this kind of thing from them. We expect better of the self-implied party of cowboys and national security and masculinity.
But just in case, watch this very brief video, as it’ll show you who the real man in charge for the next four and possibly eight years is. This is the person running the show. . .

Hi Debbie,
Off subject.. so I am sorry for that. But do you suppose that President Huseein will now host Mahmoud Abbas in the Oval office as President Clinton did with Arafat?
Just curious about your opinion!

Too good, and Mrs B.O. has never spoken a truer statement.

I couldn’t agree more Debbie, but you might have mentioned a few Democrats just to keep the record neat 🙂 But its a great post, as usual.
BTW: I’m still pissed over Bush sending his wife out to call us sexist for opposing Harriet Miers.

I doubt seriously that GWB enlisted these two women to defend his Presidency … I believe that was a decision the two of them, as strong individual women, came up with on their own.
In regards to the Obama clip … that’s the first accurate quote I’ve ever heard from Michelle Obama.

I think you’re right. These were probably their last interviews before leaving and the question about the Bush presidency was a given.

Bush was and is an inherently decent man but did not have the intestinal fortitude to be President. He was the essence of an Eisenhower Republican and never fought back. His downfall in my opinion was due to his excessive loyalty towards incompetents. However after a year or two of BHO I suspect that many will wish that Bush was back in the White House. The amount of vile abuse that Bush received was totally disproportionate to his alleged and real sins as President.

If you want to talk about enlisting crying wives in the background how can anyone forget my former Governor Eliot Spitzer dragging Silda to his press conference. Being a dirtbag has nothing to do with ones political party.

But what about the glaring exception? Mrs. Blagojovich?!?
I can never imagine her as a tearful, touchy-feely person. At least she is up front with her emotions & we know what she thinks. If he manages to stay in office like Bill Clinton did, maybe we will see a new stereotype!

c f, I think Blagojevich will go down swinging. I hope still has that fighter’s heart, he was a golden glove boxer. What he did was ruthless, but guys with that street persona are big on loyalty. KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA just threw him under the bus and judging by the lawyer Blagojevich picked he isn’t going down easily. That lawyer already wants COBRAMA’s team to testify by trying get subpoenas.
I believe Blagojevich knows so much about COBRAMA combined with Rezko the popcorn is already popping, this will be fun.
This country has emasculated itself by voting for Barack the Magic Negro. Oh my gawd, I said Negro!! How dare me!!
