Debbie, I’ve heard of that website and some of her readers are completely insane. Get this DS, one of her readers made a “rape threat” to you during the “Lara Logan” incident that occured in Egypt last year. And since Mrs. Intall called you a terrorist, you DEFINTETLY should sue that old-hag for defamation, and you’ll win the defamation lawsuit Debbie, because you have all of the facts of this woman and what she said about you, etc.

And I also agree what you said about some of the commentators on her site, and yes they have advocated for violence against muslims and mosques, so here is why I agree with you DS:

Agreed and well said, I’ve been reading and commenting here for a little over two years and I’ve NEVER read in any of you’re articles that you’ve advocated for violent behaviour towards either muslims or non-muslims, etc. And the few times when plant-posters (who are trolls pretending to fans of yours DS) who advocated for violent behaviour, you’ve removed their messages and many of us on this blog have called them out and condemned what they’ve written. You know what you’re doing Debbie and I appreciate you’re honesty and bravery.

It would seem on the face of it that Scamela, Slobbert and the other whack-jobs squawking about CAIR’s having Bare Naked Islam removed by WordPress, are of the old adage of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” meaning they take the side of anybody (no matter how nutty, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian et al. they are) that is in HAMAS/CAIR’s crosshairs.

CP: Baloney. Slobbert and Scamela did not support me in the CAIR lawsuit against me and, in fact, worked against me with a fervor that CAIR and Muslims haven’t. They contacted websites to demand that they no longer link to me and promote my work. They are all about themselves and faux-outrage for media attention. That’s it. They are frauds, liars, and hypocrites. After all, Scamela’s car dealership used Muslim straw buyers to engage in car loan fraud and make millions for her coffers. DS

Some Jews don’t bother to do their homework and they blindly support any one who is anti-Islamist. Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are publicity hounds. Bonni Intall is unstable as Debbie wrote and no one should be involved with her.

And calling for violence is the mirror image of what Islam promotes. We should be finding ways to roll back Islam and its power not engaging in excesses that discredit the serious fight against it.

Having that website taken down can ensure that will continue.

Good job, Debbie. As you know, I had my own run-ins with that woman.

When I posted a piece celebrating Moshe Feiglin’s position on Glenn Beck, that idiot at Bare Naked Islam responded. I was not aware that Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, and Carl in Jerusalem (all Glenn Beck supporters, btw) are also supportive of that nutcase at Bare Naked Islam, but you’re absolutely right, it certainly calls what’s left of their credibility (if anything) into question.

All of these idiots who are supposedly on our side have left me rather disillusioned with my own cause. People like Bonnie Intall and other group-thinking idiots on the right have been a total drain on my energy/passion. I guess it’s my own fault, as I expected the right to have brains, and use them.

…But we can see that there are as many problems on the right as there are on the left and that both sides have serious problems with discernment, group think, independent thought, and idol worship (as they attack good/honest people who try to do good work in defense of frauds and lunatics like Glenn Beck…)

I, too, have dealt with antisemites who use their “Jewish heritage” as some sort of excuse for their antisemitism. It’s disgusting….as it is when people equate Judaism with Islam in any way.

Bonni Benstock Intall is someone who should be shunned. Advocating violence and the destruction of property, as she quite plainly does, merely plays into the hands of Islamists. It validates their persecution narrative, while at the same time blackening the names of those who are legitimately opposed to Islamic encroachment. It would be like burning down the home of an accused rapist. Such an act does not further justice, but detracts from it by muddying the waters. If everyone is a victim, no one is a victim.

I used to subscribe to the Bare Naked Islam site out of pure ignorance on my part. I knew nothing about Bonnie or that it was even a woman who ran that site.

I was only on the site a few days when I made the mistake of trying to correct them about the fraud named Walid Shoebat, who they truly adore.. I have a friend who wrote a book with Shoebat and got stabbed in the back by him. Well, I got severely reprimanded on BNI and then got lambasted when I mentioned DS. (I didn’t know ladies talked that way….)

It felt good to get away from BNI even though I wasn’t there long. I thought it was just a good informative site at first. Whew.. Was I ever wrong…

I had heard about this and am glad you have spoken out about it. It seems you and David of JIDF are the only two to really trust when it comes to getting the facts on the issue of Islam and sharia. Others sound good and have interesting links and resources but I always come here or look to JIDF for the bottom line. I agree;inciting violence&allowing those type of comments on her site was a big mistake,along with defaming you&stealing any copyrighted material. Thanks!

Oh geez. I never heard of this crazy lady! I don’t even know where she is coming from either. She hates Islam but other religions as well? That does not make sense! She sounds very unstable.

I am just glad I never knew of her and her site. We should all take Islam seriously but when you have nutters like this crazy women, she takes all credibility away. It is important to me that I don’t go to sites such as hers. The threat is real and dangerous and she takes away all the hard work and credibility from those trying to spread the word on Islam.

Good riddance! My goodness, it’s hard to get people to listen to the truth without all her added nonsense.

I heard Shoebat a few months back on the Laura Ingraham show and because what I have learned here, I was able to discern him as a wolf in sheep’s clothes. If that crazy site liked him, they were willingly ignoring his “moderate” horsecrap. I saw through it easily when I heard him on the Laura Ingraham show. How crazed they must be there. I want to take Islam seriously but I would be ashamed if I were lumped in with those freaks. I wanna make sure I am on the correct road.

Those loyal to this site knows DS knows here stuff and is not a loon (no matter what her uninformed detractors say!!!) and she has plenty of media to prove it. And longevity. And the content on here speaks for itself.

And you know that even though the haters will not comment, YOU KNOW that people who have sworn to hate DS HAVE TO come here and read. They have to. They know DS is ahead of the rest and underneath they know all the hard work and the built up knowledge behind this blog. They ALL come here even though they would never admit it.

I am glad I did not know of that site. I don’t want to be involved in something like THAT! This is too serious.

Glenn Beck is not credible.
Not unlike islam, mormonism has a jesus of another kind. At least Judaism is couched in the declarations of Jehovah God. To be Jewish and not recognize God’s providential hand is one thing. To say that His Word regarding Israel is not either to be trusted or believed is something altogether different. Both islam and mormonism do so as well a number of other sects.
I was one who was “kicked off” the site, and that was only for disagreeing with some of the inflammatory remarks made and replying in a scriptural sense.
The reason both Jews and Christians have a more sure word is because we are told how we may recognize whether God is in anything or not.
Consider:
“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass , and new things do I declare : before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
” Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done , saying , My counsel shall stand , and I will do all my pleasure:”
When Christ was crucified, more than just a number of things took place that God had said was to occur. But significantly, and this is what I find difficult for the most hardened soul to disregard, is the following:
” As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see ; and that which they had not heard shall they consider .”
This was written long before the crucifixion, and only God could declare that.
Israel figures prominately in the speech of many nations, but most importantly as a servant of God, the One who is to restore them as He has declared.
We may be indifferent, but we cannot deny, that God is the God of Israel. He is not the “God of America” or the “God of the muslim”, or any other thing than Israels God and we can do nothing other than recognize Him.
There was a time in America and throughout other areas of the world, this was recognized and we had the blessing of Him who we recognized as Savior, but those days are behind us and we are becoming more and more corrupt in our thinking everyday.
The Jews are advantaged because they possess the Word of God, which see:
” What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.”
Christians are advantaged because not only do we “believe” what God has said He is and was to perform, but acknowledge the Resurrection of Christ, the Messiah, which was foretold in the Jewish Tanakh.
Bare Naked Islam has a war drum to be beaten, but does not fully comprehend why it is, in the manner she does. You may disrespect men, but you should caution yourself in how you respond to God’s word. Best not to say anything at all.

In this country we have freedom of speech and the more the scumbags of CAIR and their ilk wage lawfare,the more likely the end result will be warfare.

Islam and the West are headed for a showdown, it will come suddenly and without warning and when it does all the rules are going to go out the window, the only rule of the day will be me and mine against islam and theirs.

I visited BNI’s website very infrequently–most of them before Debbie first revealed her nuttiness and all through a link from another website. I never commented there, and of course I side with Debbie and agree with what both she and the other readers have said here. I also did not know that Glenn Beck supported Ron Paul until now. To quote Ricky from “I Love Lucy”, “Glenn has some ‘splaining to do.”

JE: For her first few years, much of her site was shoplifted from this one, which she visited frequently. We had to ban her. Also, yes, Glenn Beck not only said he’s supporting Ron Paul, but he called Republicans, “racists” if they supported other candidates who had some liberal positions. DS

Ya know Debbie, you really need to work on being a bit more assertive. And stop using FACTS. You KNOW they hate that. Makes their heads explode. I have in the past warned all of the anti-islamic/Shari’ah law bloggers that they are setting themselves up for a CAIR/HAMA lawsuit if they allowed comments calling for violence against Mosques or Muslims. Terrorist threatening is a SERIOUS matter, especially considering the climate between Christians and Muslim in America. I, like you, face lawsuits regularly by CAIR for articles and presentations concerning their ties to Islamic terrorists. One in particular, really hasthem up in shackles… fortunately, its grounded in irrefutable TRUTH!

That’s how some people roll. Its good to educate everyone. Inciting riots and vicious attacks is not a good thing. Its one thing to point point out accurate facts and truth about Muslim Islamic Jihadism but to condone vicious attacks is not a right at all. Just like these Muslims should be sued for doing likewise. But they seem to get away with it all the time.

As for violence against mosques, in Iraq Muslims seem to have that market cornered without any help from us. Maybe like Bonni they are trying to prove they do not discriminate?

Pamela Geller’s column today was hilarious.

I’m no fan of CAIR but it seems to me any one who doesn’t understand why BNI got pulled, isn’t qualified to talk about Islam.

There are certain sites no hosting company should maintain, unless they want to be part of a very expensive lawsuit.

Its just plain common sense and CAIR is doing the rest of us an expected favor. We don’t want nutjobs screwing up our life’s work.

Responsible behavior and decorum isn’t too much to ask for. Just don’t tell it to Intall and her defenders to whom it appears to be a foreign concept.

I don’t have to agree (or even know) anything about BNI’s owner, message or readership to be concerned about its removal by WordPress. Personally, were I the head of the hosting company, I would have been leery of hosting it in the first place, but since WordPress makes a big deal about the diversity of the blogs it hosts it becomes incumbent upon WordPress to clearly delineate what it will and will not put up with, not leave it up to public opinion or CAIR to decide…WordPress has said CAIR did not make the decision for them, but not even CAIR believes that.

That BNI regularly went over the top goes without saying, and its readership went far beyond that. Offensive. Libelous. Violent. Even criminal. Yep, all that and more. But the Supreme Court has maintained over and over that the more offensive and reactionary the speech, the more deserving that speech is of First Amendment protections, which is what the SC decided in the case of the odious Westboro Baptist Church people.

That being said, the owner of BNI is still responsible for comments printed on her blog, even though the object of her ire may be a public figure…the courts have made it easier than ever to slander without fear people considered “public figures,” even those who have risen to the public stage through more than being interviewed for a news story. It’s a sad state of affairs in America these days, but suits still need to be brought against those who try to hide behind the First Amendment.

Not many people will be sad to see the demise of BNI, but it’s never a good day when provisions of the Constitution get decided by Islamcist groups and companies seeking to avoid confrontation.

Based on your testimony, it seems that Spencer and Gellar went to that website and told them not to include Debbie Schlussel’s website on their list. I saw Debbie on Twitter last night and she says that she likes the TheReligionofPeace website. I don’t know whether or not she is aware of this, and if she’s not, then once she is, I’m sure that her opinion of that website will change for the worst–amd would you blame her if she did?

Also in the debate which Debbie says Spencer lost, but yet you dispute that, can you explain as to why he didn’t ask Daisy Khan or any other Muslim on the panel to denounce Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc?

Debbie had praised RS on August 25, 2009 for defending her against the Daily Kos’s smear against her. Debbie then links to the JihadWatch article. Note the following in that article:

Question, why are there ellipses in the Jihad Watch quote from the Daily Kos article?

Well, if you click on the Jihad Watch’s article’s link to the Daily Kos, you will find that the quoted aricle says:

“The anti-Muslim blogosphere is a cesspool of some of the most vile hatred and misinformation on the internet. The anti-Muslims cover a wide spectrum though most can be found slithering in the Right-Wing. They range from academics such as Daniel Pipes, self-declared scholars like Robert Spencer and his JihadWatch, to open racists such as Debbie Schlussel, Pamela Geller and the blog Gates of Vienna.(emphasis added).”

I’ll admit that I didn’t follow Debbie at the time, but it appears that at the time that Debbie had wrote the article, the Jihad Watch article had included Debbie’s name in the list of people that he was defending, and then after Debbie had then started writing unfavavorable things about first Pamela and eventually calling her Scamela and then Robert, that Spencer subsequently went back to this article and erased her name from his defense. If I were Debbie and I saw that, I would post an update to her article that I’m linking to here to make a note of this.

In the link from the 2:16 pm post includes both Pamela and Robert’s responses to Debbie on the issue, followed in both cases by Debbie’s response. In Debbie’s response to Robert, she noted that he had a book deal with Pamela so he couldn’t speak independently on the issue. Since then with the book being published she found about their romantic relationship.

Then it was found out that Pamela was involved in a car scam and now we found out that it includes murder. Bill Warner, who is on Debbie’s “Blog Roll”, provides the full story:

Then Debbie explained a little further in the Spencer ABC appearence that I linked to and you had commented on last night.

I admit that I am not the best person to debate this with you. I wanted to make sure that you did your homework here researching what Debbie has already written about this situation plus giving a little additional information. If you want to know anything further, I suggest emailing Debbie and ask her for further information in the same way that you would also liked to be asked. You might also want to email Robert as well.

But let me close by saying where Debbie is coming from generally. She herself does reporting on various isssues-whether it is the Islamic threat, or any other issue, she does it honestly. She tells the truth on what she is reporting. If she is quoting from what someone else has already reported, she will give them proper credit and then offer her own comments. If what she’s reporting is an exclusive where either Debbie and/or her team is the primary source, then she will say so. If others report on her story, she expects to be given proper credit. If she’s not, then she will call them out on it. She will also call out any other instances of plagerism in which she is aware of. In short, she expects high standards from those who are on (or who appear to be on) her side. This explains not only why Debbie not only does not like Robert/Slobbert Spencer, Pamela/Scamela Geller, but also some others.
