It’s Jesse Jr., Senator Jackson If You’re Nasty: Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You

By Debbie Schlussel
Recently, I warned you of yet another negative likely byproduct of an Obama Presidential victory: “U.S. Senator” Jesse Jackson, Jr.
As I noted “Son of Jesse” (like “Bride of Chucky”) is a moderate compared to his loony father. But only slightly. Everything is relative. The guy is one of the most left-wing Congressmen in the U.S. House.
Well, Jesse Jr. is heavily lobbying Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich for the appointment to Obama’s seat, and he’ll probably get it.
Then, there’s the matter of Joe Biden’s seat. Guess who wants that? Another famous son, Beau Biden, the Senator’s son, who is currently Delaware’s Attorney General and preparing for a nine-month National Guard deployment to Iraq.
Goodbye, Senator Barack Hussein Obama . . .

Hello, Senator Jesse Jackson? . . .

Like Father, Like Son: Jesse Jackson, Sr. & Jr.

We just got rid of two political dynasties–Bush and Clinton. Now we may get in their place two far worse ones.
Remember the time when America was a nation of commoners and not a nation of political dynasties and royalty? I mean, isn’t this part of why we broke off from England?

Dear Debbie;
The last week of Oct. ’08 featured the 150th anniversary of the birth of Theodore Roosevelt. He was without a doubt one of our greatest Presidents. And boy; could we use this guy now. Here is just a short list of some of his accomplishments.
As lieutenant colonel of the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War, he led the charge at the battle of San Juan
.
He provided federal protection for almost 230 million acres and doubled the size of the national park system.
By building up the U.S. Navy, he established America as a major world power.
He negotiated U.S. control of the Panama Canal and its construction in 1904.
He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906 for negotiating peace in the Russo-Japanese War.
He even won the Congressional Medal of Honor.
When Roosevelt died, Woodrow Wilson’s vice president at the time, Thomas R. Marshall said: “Death had to take Roosevelt sleeping, for if he had been awake, there would have been a fight.”
And now, here we are, in 2008. And our choices for the President of the United States of America were a not just “reach across the aisle maverick,” but a “walk across the aisle, and sit down maverick.” whom I don’t like all that much. Never did. Who is hardly a conservative. Who has done some pretty idiotic things in the past as a senator. Who will probably do nothing in regard to our southern boarder, or illegal aliens.
And an SOB, die hard Marxist, whom I believe truly thinks he is the Messiah. Whom I believe is a Muslim, or at the very least a Muslim sympathizer in Christian clothing. Who would love to destroy capitalism in America. Who would love to tax everybody to death. And who no doubt has a tattoo of Che Guevara on one ass cheek, and a tattoo of Sol Alinsky on the other cheek.
And then there are all the anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-talk radio, anti-military, and probably anti-Debbie Schlussel, Democrats/Communists in Congress.
What the hell has happened to my country? Where is Teddy Roosevelt when we really need him? I did not vote for John McCain, as much as I voted for Sarah Palin, and against Barack Obama, and Marxism.
Sincerely;
EJO
P.S. I wanted to put this on your blog. But you don’t have an open thread, and I couldn’t find a suitable spot for it, so I’ve decided to just dump it here. A thousand pardons Dear Debbie if I have annoyed you.
Have a good night.

Don’t confuse the kid with the father. I think there’s more than just a little bit of friction between them. Somthin’ about that half-sibling Jr. didn’t know about for a long time.

Debbie, I find the Beau Biden angle more annoying, partly because JB used the DNC to act as Beau’s fluffer. The funny part is that since BB has to go to Iraq to push papers, he may not be eligible to stand in for dad in the Senate.

So freakin’ what? Illinois is a fairly liberal state is it not? Let JJ jr prove himself first before you jump on his ass. Just in case you haven’t notice Deb, America has given the Dems almost 60 seats in the Senate.

Beau Biden is a lunatic serbophobe like his father. With Joe Biden and Brzezinski next to Obama we are on a collision coarse with Russia (not the fault of the latter).

The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. In Bidens case, it looks like a bad case of cronyism. I see it all the time working in the Fed Govt. Good ole boy network.

I found it ironic, during both the primaries and the Presidential campaign, that Obama and his supporters talked about the Clinton, and then, the Bush “dynasty” … yet forgot to mention that they relied heavily on the support of yet another, and much more powerful, dynasty: the Kennedy clan.

Norman Blitzer:
Jesse Jackson Jr. is ALREADY a proven congressman. Unlike his father, JJ Jr. has ran for and held public office. I’ve met him and while his preferences are way to the left of mine, I find him to be a responsible person; quite unlike his father. BTW, the kid is also a bit dull compared to his father but not without a fine sense of humor.
Your claim that Illinois is “a fairly liberal state” is simply untrue. I lived in Illinois most of my life and still live rather close to Chicago. The rest of my family lives in Chicago.
Inside the City of Chicago, the Democratic Party enjoys something very close to one-party rule. Yet by national standards, the CCDP (Cook County Democratic Party) isn’t as leftwing as the Democratic Party as a whole.
Outside the city limits of Chicago, the State of Illinois becomes quite conservative. It’s not quite one-party rule by the Republicans, but it’s pretty close. Downstate Democrats like Sen. Dick Durbin are a rare breed in Illinois.
Last but not least. Whether Republican, Democrat, Liberal, Conservative or right down the middle, Illinois politics is corrupt beyond belief. In my lifetime, THREE Illinois governors have been sent to prison. They are working hard on a 4th as we speak.
People don’t believe me when I say this but Michigan’s politicians are ANGELS compared to Illinois. Here in W. Michigan, we can pick up all the Chicago AM newsradio stations. I once explained this to a co-worker as we were driving to a job site. Then I said: “Here! I’ll show you!”. I then turned on the car radio and within 5 minutes, we had heard everything we needed to know to prove my point.
Jesse Jackson Jr. has been a U.S. Congressman since 1996 – 12 years for the mathematically challenged. Serving in Congress 12 years and working amongst the den of thieves that make up Illinois politics, is an acheivement his father could NEVER attain.
