Barack Obama’s Title IX Feminazis Want a Plug: E-mail Exchange of the Day

By Debbie Schlussel
A few days ago, I got this message from publicists for one of the many feminist groups that supported Obama. I’m not sure why they contacted me, other than that I have the same internal plumbing that they do. They clearly do not read my site and think that all females (at least we think they are females) must support their overbearing agenda. I, for one, do not. Oh, and by the way, for those of you Palin-atics, your so-called conservative leader, Sarah “six colleges in six years” Palin, thinks these guys, er . . . “women”, and their agenda are awesome:

Dear Debbie,
I wanted to share some info about a girls sports initiative that I thought might be of interest to your readers:
Have you ever noticed that there’s less equipment, fewer teams, inferior facilities or less time dedicated to girls sports? Or are girls’ games scheduled at different times so they won’t compete with other “primetime” games or “more popular” sports? A recent survey by the WNBA and Seventeen Magazine revealed that 35% of girls say their teams don’t get as much equipment or field time as the boys’ teams.
The simple fact is girls have the same rights as boys when it comes to sports at school. If you don’t think girls are getting fair opportunities, there’s something you can do about it because it might be against the law.
Visit: http://www.Vis4Victory.org to learn about Title IX, watch a video and take a quiz!
Below I’ve included more details about the campaign for you to grab info off if you deem it worthy of a post on your blog. If you have any questions or extra material that you’d like, just let me know.
Thanks again for your great work!
Sincerely,

Um, no offense, but you clearly do not read my site, since I’ve written against this BS many, many times. I think Title IX and the Women’s Sports Foundation and the rest of the feminist sports nazis have ruined sports across America. You might want to contact Sarah Palin because as a misguided conservative, she thinks Title IX is just swell. Myself, I’d rather watch men play football than see a lesbian crew team–“You Gotta Regatta Lesbiatta”–steal their college scholarships. Really, I’m the last person who would support a “girls sports initiative”. We already have plenty. When is the boys sports initiative gonna happen? Will your people be finally satisfied when only women play sports and men are cooking their food? Say hello to Martha Burk for me. On second thought, don’t.

With her admitted shortcomings, I’m still not aware of any Republican politician with national exposure who has a better record, or a better ability to mobilize the base than Palin does. And this is within only a couple of months of her sudden exposure to the limelight. I think the jury on her is still out. I am impressed by her combativeness. Compared with the rest of the Republicans, virtually all of whom are hacks, she clearly is not afraid to relate to the base. She handled the McCain smears (unsubstantiated so far as I know, & minor or irrelevant at best even if true -=- why wouldn’t she answer the door in her bathrobe if she just got out of the shower?) with grace and maturity, compared with other responses you have discussed e.g. Aretha Franklin. I am still watching with interest to see how things work out with her. I don’t think two months on the national scene is enough to form a definitive judgment. A lot of Ph.D.s have a lot less common sense than she does, even with her six colleges in four years.

LOL! I can see the jaw drop as they read your response.

They get more field time, because people actually show up to watch the game. This is all about redistribution of wealth. The only people that want to watch that crap are their girlfriends.
I use to be a major league fan. I have stopped watching all professional sports, because they are run by socialistic unions. So I moved to college baseball, I have since discovered that this sport is the whipping boy for Title Dyke. They are given 11.7 scholarships to field a 35 man roster. Why? So we can have women’s basketball and softball teams. Which make absolutely no money for the university? They are free and still no one shows up besides their domestic life partners.
It’s all about subjecting us to slower, crappier sports, so they can feel good about their lifestyle choices.

I’m not wild about title IX. It’s kind of mildly embarrassing. I’ve got bigger fish to fry, for instance: The Fairness Doctrine…..
By the way: Palin went to 6 colleges in 6 years….but she also paid her own way. She had no help from her Mommie and Daddy. Completely self-made from the ground up.
Ronald Reagan went to Eureka College. Not exactly Ivy League either. Debbie do you have a problem with that?
Lots of people called Reagan dumb, the same way you call Palin an airhead. That Airhead is going to be President in 2012 if I have my way.
[MW: THAT’S NOT WHY SHE WENT TO 6 COLLEGES IN 6 YEARS. REAGAN WAS SMART. PALIN IS A COMPLETE DUMMY, TOTAL IGNORAMUS. STOP COMPARING HER TO REAGAN. IT’S TIRESOME AND SILLY. SHE’S NOT EVEN CLOSE. OH, AND BY THE WAY, REAGAN COULD TELL YOU WHAT PAPERS HE READ WHEN ASKED. AND HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN–AFTER THE STORY WAS IN THE NEWS FOR A FEW MONTHS–THAT THE BAILOUT WAS ABOUT MORTGAGES, NOT HEALTHCARE AND JOBS. PEOPLE WHO ADMIRE DUMMIES GET DUMMIES. BUT SHE WILL NOT BE THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE–THANK G-D–IN FOUR YEARS. IF SHE IS, OBAMA WILL SERVE TWO TERMS. DS]

Debbie, as far as I can tell, Title IX has been like mannah from heaven for the butch lesbians, but not so much for the femme ones we prefer, and a slow death sentence for male non-revenue athletes. Personally, I’m good at ping pong, scrabble and shutes and ladders, but not on an Olympic level. BTW I agree that Palin’s college odyssey mainly proves that she was on her own and very determined.

I see this as a problem along side of The Fairness Doctrine.
Fairness Doctrine: Liberals complain that there should be the same amount of Liberal talk radio as there is Conservative talk radio. Problem is no one listens to Liberal talk radio i.e. Air America (which failed).
Title XI in sports: Liberals complain that there should be the same amount of womens sports as mens sports. Problem is no one watches womens sports i.e. WNBA (low attendance and low airtime)
