Islamic Terrorist’s Family Hosted by Occupy Wall Street

By Debbie Schlussel

We already know that the Occupy Wall Street crowd is your typical far-left group of anti-Semites and great unwashed America-haters.  So, I guess it should be no surprise that an Islamic terrorist’s family joined in the mix. Occupy Boston, the Boston Occupy Wall Street version, played host to the family and far-left friends of indicted Islamic terrorist Tarek Mehanna, who plotted to attack shopping malls and first responders.  (He did this while teaching kids at Islamic schools.  No surprise there.)  Mehanna is also accused of being part of the media wing of Al-Qaeda.  Hey, ya know what I just noticed?  They have a common theme:  the 99 names of allah and the 99%.  Feeble minds think alike.

tarekmehanna

Al Qaeda Terrorists (Like Tarek Mehanna) Occupy Wall Street: “We Are the 99%”

I’d say this was a case of misery loves company, but in this case, it’s a case of company loves misery.  Oh, and by the way, the Mehanna family is extremely wealthy.  They are among the 1% that the Occupy crowd claims to be railing against.  But, hey, no one accused them of being consistent.  And these fraudulent protestors always make exceptions for the “noble” wealthy:  Islamic terrorists, loony celebrity hypocrites, etc.

The downtown protest group Occupy Boston threw its proverbial doors open yesterday, and played host to supporters of accused terrorist Terak Mehanna, who are looking to raise awareness of the Sudbury man’s upcoming trial.

The Tarek Mehanna Support Committee came to Occupy Boston’s ever-evolving tent city on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to say Mehanna, a Muslim American pharmacist, is a victim of anti-Muslim sentiment.

The U.S. government says Mehanna, 28, provided “material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization,” and acted as a “media wing” for al-Qaeda.

Occupy Boston hosted the pro-Mehanna rally, but, officially, the leaderless group doesn’t have a position on the case.

Sure they don’t. Um, if you don’t have a position against Islamic terrorists helping Al-Qaeda, that’s all we need to know. It’s no different from saying that you support them. It’s like any of the few morons in the 1940’s who “didn’t have a position” on the Nazis. We know what that means. You won’t condemn them, which is acquiescence and tacit support.

For 10 days, Occupy Boston members have been living on the Greenway, in a tented community that has solar-generated power, a library, and street signs so people can navigate their way around the maze of pitched tents.

More evidence that the solar industry continues to generate no jobs. Unless you include “unemployed Al-Qaeda terrorist” as a new job.

This is a rabble, not a demonstration. I expect to see more down with Israel, down with Capitalism, down with USA signs soon.

Yup, the circus of the left (or is circus of the absurd) is in town, and any wack job can be a part of it.

Funny thing is, if this demonstration was in al-Qaeda held territory, do you even think that these morons would be allowed to speak out?

Another thing. What is this 1% nonsense? Why not 2%? 3% 5% 10%? This is where this is heading. This is class warfare, ignited by Obama. Soon, it will spread so that the top 10% are dubbed the enemy.

In the book, “1984”, the leaders of the dictatorship set up a straw man named Goldstein for the people to attack and hate. The government said that Goldstein was responsible for every ill in society.

Seems that 1984 is Obama’s playbook.

Those idiots don’t know what 99% is, they couldn’t do the math. It’s no surprise that they love muslims.

David Lanham on October 12, 2011 at 2:43 pm

    It’s not that they love muslims, it’s that they hate Jews.

    Isn’t this how the National Socialists started and attracted many to their cause? These protestors’ actions are certainly rhyming with history’s past.

Thanks for providing this story to all of us here DS, just like two years ago you exposed elements of the Tea Party movement having some anti-semitic speakers (Jim Traficant) and speakers of the TPM recieving money from islamic countries in the middle east. Don’t get me wrong, I am NOT equating the TPM with the OWS movement, despite a few flaws and baggages the TPM has on them, atleast the Tea Party protestors have been well behaved, never called for violence towards anyone, are clean-cut, have a good/great hygiene, etc, whereas these OWS freaks are smelly, pollute the roads, have called for violence, don’t shave themselves, don’t shower/bath themselves, horrible hygiene, etc.

Since I’m currently in the New York City metropolitan area, I have done just about everything I can to avoid these communist nutcases, etc. Oh and BTW, since my youngest sister is currently unemployed, to her own credit, she told me that she has a job interview today and trying her best to find herself another job, she’s not going to that stupid OWS protest and if she thinks about doing that, I will question her and pity her for it! And those folks at the OWS are “un-employable” and DO NOT want to work, they want stuff given to them, whereas those who are unemployed and looking for work are “employable”!

What have Muslims and leftards got in common? An arrogant sense of unearned entitlement… http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/islamic-supremacism-and-muslim-sense-of.html

Crombouke on October 12, 2011 at 6:28 pm

I’m not buying this 99%/1% crap. Where I think the tipping point is is at 50/50. For me that means when more than 50% of the population is on some kind of public dole (taxpayer burden), the remainder of the population (those with jobs) is going to realize that the government has made them slaves to the looters and moochers. I think we are very close, if not somewhat beyond, that 50/50 tipping point.

Gimme, gimme, gimme? Sure, what caliber would you like that in? If this foul stinking lefty version of the home-boy shopping network comes to my home there will be a body count.

Richard on October 12, 2011 at 7:40 pm

    Actually I would go to 20% of people for the simple reason a good portion of the 50% are seniors or people on temp. disability good comment though.

(Pats, I love your new avatar!)

Thank you DS. His trial is this month. I have not seen the useful idiots at the filth-in here in Boston because I don’t like dirty freaks and dirty politics mixed (never mind all alone, respectively). The place they are having their filthy gimme-gimme-a-thon is apropo. Fat Teddy made sure it was named after his ancient mum Rose before he carked it.

The far-left whackodoodles are useless indeed. Feeling solidarity with this POS who would take them out FIRST (prolly behind jews) because of their hedonistic lifestyle and beliefs.

Here is how the lefty rags see poor, old Mehanna….

“Yet no matter how distasteful or extreme some might find Mehanna’s views, this is protected speech under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Waging jihad may be criminal, but what about just talking (emphasis) jihad?”

“By denying Mehanna bail for the two years before his trial — and thus denying him maximum access to his lawyers — and by releasing reams of material only weeks before the trial was scheduled to begin, the Department of Justice has made it extremely difficult for Mehanna to defend himself.”

“That, however, may be the point. Mehanna’s supporters allege that his current troubles stem from his steadfast refusal to become an FBI source. The message? Play ball or else, because if we the government say you are guilty, then you probably are. It’s called a chilling effect, and like a page out of Kafka, it can send a shiver up your spine.”

“Tamer (his brother)paints a picture of a community-minded healer who was railroaded by authorities desperate for allies in the Islamic world.” (THIS WAS ACTUALLY QUOTED BY STUPID BROTHER TAMER IN THE PAPER VERSION OF THE BOSTON PHOENIX…but they took out the quotes and summarized for the online version…don’t know why???)

“My brother (says Tamer Mehanna) has a doctorate in pharmaceuticals. He’s trying to heal people, not hurt them,” Tamer says. “But in the hearing, they said that he went to school so he could make chemical bombs for jihad and so he could be a medic for jihadist. Really? At 18, that’s what my brother was thinking about?”

{His 2009 charge — “conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists” — sounds more ominous, but a look at the Justice Department’s complaint affidavit comes up a bit short on most-wanted-list material. According to the document, Mehanna and his friends “would talk about fighting jihad, and how wonderful it would be to die on the battlefield” and “would watch jihadi videos” — VHS and downloaded from the Internet. “The men discussed their desire to take some kind of action in furtherance of jihad,” the complaint reads, “but did not know how to accomplish this objective.”}

“The Feds say Mehanna and two of his buddies traveled to Yemen in February 2004 to seek terrorist training — Mehanna maintains it was for religious studies — but were told by a man there that “all that stuff is gone ever since the plans hit the Twin Towers.”

{As for the alleged shopping-mall attack outlined in Loucks’s press conference? The plan was ultimately abandoned, the affidavit says, because Mehanna couldn’t get the guns.

“Does it not seem ridiculous to say they didn’t go through with this plot because they couldn’t obtain the firearms?” asks Tamer Mehanna. “Who the hell can’t get guns? You’re gonna tell me that the most sophisticated plot my brother could cook up was to get guns, walk into a random mall, and start shooting?”}

{Mehanna is an American citizen — innocent until proven otherwise — who has spent the past two years in solitary confinement. If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence. Every time the US government brings charges against an alleged terrorist, it does so in the name of national security. The draconian anatomy of new laws and procedures in post-9/11 America makes it almost impossible for a defendant to receive a fair trial by preventing the defense from mounting a vigorous defense. The irony is bitter. It seems the only way America can defend itself is to limit and destroy much of what it holds dear in the process.

“If this is the FBI’s idea of a terrorist,” says Carney, “they are using a net that is designed to catch minnows instead of sharks.”}

DUMB LIBERALS love to cry tears for all evil do-ers. Boo-hoo.

This Saturday – the day after my birthday – there will be an Occupy Wall Street demo downtown.

There certainly will be one in Toronto (Occupy Bay Street?) as well as in other Canadian centres.

I’ll check out the circus for a bit and let you know how I feel.

Damn Hippies. Get a bath.

The Reverend Jacques on October 12, 2011 at 10:19 pm

They may have tents and street signs what they lack (besides obvious civilization) are showeres and bathrooms in which they use other peoples (like business owners with out purchase) or the nearest bush

And Abu Moskowitz and other nefarious pieces of pathetic s**t from i.c.e. have invited them for falafel at a mosque of their choosing in Dearbornistan….

This is the most uninformed bunch with which I have come across in a LONG time. I’ve been following OWS since the beginning. I can tell you that there is NO CORPORATE SPONSOR. Painting the people there with a broad brush stroke is counterproductive. Maybe you can take time to speak to a few people there and find out why they are. Don’t listen to Media bias. I promise, it’s not the whole story.

They would love for you to think that they’re a bunch of lowlife hippies, taking in Mom, Dad’s, or the State’s wealth. I can assure you they are not. I’m not saying that it’s completely devoid of any whom you would consider “hippies”. But it’s truly much bigger than that.

It’s about the collusion between the Federal Government and the Richest of all Citizens, including their Corporations. There was a time when the People ruled this Nation. This is no longer. Money has come into play and the rich are getting richer by driving the rest of us into debt. No matter what your outlook on things are, this is the absolute truth. I won’t trouble you with all the details. But a simple internet query on inequality, investment banks, TARP, PATRIOT ACT, collusion, Police State, Government Corruption, Corporate Personhood, etc, etc. will pull up very, very many items that prove this Government needs an overhaul.

The folks at OWS are not looking for a handout. They are looking to be represented once again, in Congress. They are looking to stop the revolving door that is between our Fed and the Investment Banks (and a few other major Corporations). There is an excellent list of Corporations that paid NO TAXES AND EVEN RECEIVED TAXPAYER MONEY after making multiple Billions of Dollars off of the American People already.

It’s just not right.
