Obama’s Muslim Outreach Staff Yet Again Shows Terrorism Leanings, Stark Anti Semitism

Remember Mazen Asbahi? Barack Hussein Obama’s first Muslim outreach director was fired for his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood (but is apparently still involved in the Obama campaign).
Now, Asbahi’s replacement, Minha Husaini, will probably have to go, too. You see, she attended a meeting with Asbahi and a number of terror-supporting Muslim groups that the FBI and Department of Justice say are fronts for HAMAS and other Muslim Brotherhood terrorist groups. Oh, and a number of the people at the meeting–like Mahdi Bray–have openly supported anti-Semitism and Islamic terrorist groups:
The Obama campaign said it was a mistake for an outreach coordinator to join a meeting last month attended by leaders of two controversial Muslim groups as it seeks votes from large Muslim populations in swing states.
Minha Husaini, newly named as head of the campaign’s outreach coordinator to Muslims, attended a discussion session Sept. 15 with about 30 Muslim leaders and community members in suburban Washington, the Obama campaign confirmed. Participants included leaders of the Council of American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society, which have been cited by the government in the past for ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.
In August, the campaign’s previous coordinator, Mazen Asbahi, resigned over a similar issue. . . .
Mr. Asbahi, who also attended the meeting now entangling Ms. Husaini, resigned after questions arose about his brief tenure on the board of an Islamic investment fund along with a controversial Illinois imam. At the time, campaign officials said he was stepping down because he didn’t want to become a distraction for the campaign.
Thursday, campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt, responding to questions about the September session in Springfield, Va., said Ms. Husaini wouldn’t have attended had she known that Council of American-Islamic Relations and Muslim American Society leaders were going to be there.
Baloney. These groups will be welcome in a Barack White House (and not so unwelcome in a McCain one).
Mr. LaBolt said campaign workers’ efforts are aimed at acquaint Muslim voters with Sen. Obama’s positions and to work on voter turnout. “We have a whole faith outreach effort that includes interacting with mosque leaders,” he said.
One attendee at the Springfield meeting was Mahdi Bray, executive director of the Muslim American Society’s Freedom Foundation. The Justice Department has asserted in court proceedings that the society’s organizers were members of the Muslim Brotherhood, a global group promoting political Islam.
Nihad Awad, executive director of CAIR, also attended the session, as did the group’s legislative director. The government named CAIR an unindicted coconspirator in the Justice Department’s racketeering prosecution last year of alleged Hamas fund-raisers. CAIR said the designation was unjustified; the case ended in a mistrial, but is being brought again by the government.
Mr. Awad declined to comment. Mr. Bray didn’t respond to a request for comment. The Obama campaign said it couldn’t comment on Mr. Asbahi’s attendance at the session.
Mahdi Bray is openly anti-Semitic and, like Awad (who also goes by the name Nehad Hammad), is a vocal supporter of HAMAS and Hezbollah.
The thing is, the Bush Administration and Democrats and Republicans of all stripes have unfortunately feted these groups and individuals, lending them legitimacy when they never should have had any. Is this the beginning of the end?
Don’t hold your breath. It’s only the beginning of our end.

**** IMPORTANT UPDATE: I’m reminded that I wrote about Mahdi Bray, who was at the meeting with Obama’s Muslim outreach chica, in the Detroit Free Press in 2002:
In October 1998, Mahdi Bray coordinated and led a Washington rally of 2,000 people, during which he played the tambourine as the crowd repeated, “Let’s all go into jihad, and throw stones at the face of the Jews.”
On Dec. 22, 2000, Bray organized and spoke at a rally outside the White House at which the emcee and crowd chanted responsively in Arabic: “O Jews, the Army of Muhammad is coming for you!” The Nazi swastika was openly displayed.
Yup, this is the kind of Muslim outreach Barack Hussein Obama is reaching out for.

My dear Americans!
Israel, that old whore of a nation, has whored one time too many. They thought they can control us through their lobby, their media campaigns, their business enterprises… Their tenticles are everywhere but they are not all-powerful! They can not control us my dear friends. No they can’t! We shall overcome! We shell overcome this adversity and shall remain stalwart in our resolve to be true to our principles, our vision, the audacity of hopes and dreams we set out to make reality when We, the American people, has chosen this path to Hope and Justice two years ago. There will be no second Holocaust on my watch, that much I promised you my dear brothers and sisters. When the ruling clique of Tel Aviv do their dirty dealings and scheme their dirty schemes, they can count us out! We won’t betray the High Hopes of Justice and Friendship we set out to achieve with the world! One little whore of a nation shall not stop us in that our greatest endeavor!
And for that reason, I say to them. I say onto them, and I am not afraid to say it! I shall not become silent when this dirty word, Israeel, is spoken. O no, I shall be strong in my resolve.
And I say to them: There will not be a second catastrophy! Not on our watch my dear American brothers and sisters! We won’t allow it! No! Those Arab deaths shall be avenged! What the corrupt rulers of that little insignificant nation thought, for us, Arab blood doesn’t count? Is it not red just like ours? Is it not the blood of Honour and Justice that races through our veins as well?
No, we won’t allow them to hurt the world so much with what they’re doing. They think they can accuse the Arab world of being behind that little insignificant bombing they had. We don’t even know if that’s not the doing of their scheming secret forces! What prove do they have that that little crude atomic device was indeed put there into that containership by Arabs? They have none! What moral basis do they have for their atrocious tactical nuclear weapons attack on military facilities of our brave Arab friends’ forces throughout the region, the Syrians, the Lebanese, and the Iranian people as well? What do they think, the world will stand aside and watch hopelessly at these great atrocities of theirs?
But we have the audacity of hope, and strength to percevere. And I say, I say to the corrupt bloodthursty rulers of that dirty little whore Israeel – enough! America has spoken! You attack our Arab and Muslim friends in an unprovoked manner, that little crude atomic bomb explosion only a pretext. What gives you the right to cause this grave harm onto your peace loving neighbors? No and no!
You thought they are hopeless, defenceless against your naked agression? But you forgot about the USA. We shall stand tall with the victims of your agression, and we shall restrain your agression By God Almighty, the Merciful, Defender of the poor and the oppressed.
That is the reason that earlier yesterday I gave an order to send our troops to the nuclear sites in that little country, to take control over them, to prevent the next great atrocity. The brave men and women of our elite secret forces, acting on my direct orders, were all mercilessly slaughtered but those Israeelis, who dared to resist our rightful course of actions, supported by the whole world and by all their neighboring countries. Many lives of our brave soldiers were lost today in the righteous battle in the path for Goodness and Justice, Friendship and Peace. Many a soldier has perished, a worrior slain. But their sacrifies shall not be in vain. Their lives, and the lives of countless other victims of Israeeli aggression shall be avenged.
My brave American people! Together we have come a long way! We have implemented together a helthcare reform. Today, any person living inside our borders can have their right to life fulfilled by free helthcare for all. We have implemented the great education reform. Now everyone has a right for the same high quality education when they grow up. The days of exclusive private schooling for selective few are over! Everyone now is receiving same high quality education whether it be in high schools or universities which were so exclusive with their former high tuition fees, but now – now we have made them accessible for all the inhabitants of this Greatest Country of ours, free of charge. And we have started our work on ridding this nation once and for all from all the privately held firearms that cause so much death and grieve in our midst. When there is no more privately held firearms, as our founding farthers had envisioned, there will be no more death and grieve among us, my dear friends.
Indeed the long and hard path have we travelled, but there is still much road ahead of us, and we shall continue our jorney.
And strengthened by it, we look anew at our place in the world, and we see there is much to change! And by God Almighty, All Merciful, we shall continue our jorney to Change, to Hope for all nations, to Peace and Justice!
No Justice – No Peace! Remeber that! But now, we stand tall for Justice, and we will not allow the dirty corrupt rulers of that little old whore Israeel to perpetrate another catastrophy, another Naqba, on the brave peace-loving peoples of the Middle East.
And for that reason, I come now to this.
The order has been given to drop a thermonuclear device on Tel Aviv in two hours time. They can stop this from happening, they can do it very easily. They can heed to the just demands of the international community, stand down and disarm, and allow our teams to take control over their nuclear sites and other key military facilities, in the name of Peace and Justice in that region and the whole World.
If they don’t, at 19:00 UTC today the 1 megaton device will be detonated over their capital city in order to serve as the deterrent, to put check on their naked agression, to prevent them from perpetrating further agressions and massacres and atrocities against the peoples of that region, so vital to our interests. We will not allow it to happen. No more.
We were silent when Ruanda happened. We didn’t act in Darfur. We allowed South Lebanon to suffer.
This has got to stop – right here, right now.
