More dumbing down, although of course it is not confined to any one race or nationality. The elites are the dumbest in many ways.
I guess something like this shows that style is more important than substance and the make-up people at the debates are more important than those who deal with substance. After all, the widest-circulation magazines and TV programs deal with style; those dealing with subtance are way down on the list.

Obama will be the next President because we have become a country of clueless sheep being led to slaughter by morons. Mediocre management is responsible for the current recession which began with the mortgage and credit debacles in all the major banks. Moronic career civil servant managers in the Federal government are the primary reason the current economic breakdown will last until at least 2012.
ICE is not the only federal agency run by unqualified, unimaginative, bureaucratic misfits such as Marcy Foreman and soon to be SES SAC/Dallas John Chakwin. It is obvious that vision less mental misfits have penetrated the core of every agency from the lowest(Dept of Homeland Stupidity) to the most senior (Dept of the Treasury). The worst is yet to come. The next five years will be hell but a cleansing of the layers and layers of GS/15 and SES “fedocrats” will be one of the most beneficial results. Just as the cancer must be cut from the body for it to heal. Totally incompetent career GS/15 & SES federal management must be cut from the federal bureaucracy for our Country to survive.

Just as he got a huge pass for rev. wrong, Ayers, his islamic school, name, socialist dad, following Saul Alinsky, his wifes racist paper, his own racist view of his typical white grandmother, his associations with Rezco, his 143 days of senate experience, his 130 present votes whe he did show up and his deliberate lies about the responsibilty for the financial crisis being 90% lib dems fault and the other 10% ACORNS fault (who he was a lawyer for). Yeah after all that and the fact that he won Iowa and every other mostly white state it is still the whites that are the racists.

The masses are asses. Blacks are voting for Obama because he is Black and nothing more. Blacks and the Liberal Media have guilted this country in feeling bad about Black failures as their fault. Look what happened to Hillary and Bill. They got run over by the Black Mob Machine and their Liberal associates. They stripped Bill of his “First Black President” title, told him he was a racist Bubba. Hillary only got 8% of the vote from Blacks in the Primaries. She couldnt questions Obama about anything or she was called a racist. Blacks couldnt use the excuse we only vote for Democrats. When Hillary won late states, the liberal whack jobs said they were “racist votes” in KY,WV,OH,PA. Did they ever question how
Blacks votes? There was no demographic that showed this high disparity.
Here in California Blacks dont have the power they used to have because their population has been drowned out by Hispanics and Asians. They dont feel “guilty” for Blacks own problem.
Unfortunately race politics will get more and more polarized as immigration runs out of control.
Debbie, you have mentioned we are losing our national identity and it will get played out worse and worse in these elections. I think there will be “Obama, Jrs” who will see his “success” and know Whites and others will split their votes and Blacks will sellfishly vote Black and win elections.

It is, as Tempus Fugit says, a “plantation of the mind”. But it’s not just Black folks….anybody who has ever watched Jay Leno’s “Jay-Walking” bit knows just how uninformed the man/woman on the street can be about American politics, no matter what their race.

No one completely gets away with racism, no matter what their color. It is a cancer on the soul that takes its toll on a person sooner or later. If a Black person is virulently anti-White, they’re in for a very hard and unsuccessful life. You find very few truly joyful people who are also raging bigots. Their own hate prevents that. They’re miserable and they make everyone around them miserable, no matter what their level of material success. Their racism may motivate them, but it does nothing to contribute to their happiness and well-being.
And for those who are constantly bringing up the percentages of Black voters who are voting for Obama and how racist Black people are, I want to ask you, “How many Black candidates or candidates “other than Black” have you ever voted for in your life?? Before these people start calling out Black folks for voting for Obama, I sure would like to see their own voting record. I bet I can guarantee that most Black voters have voted for many more White candidates than some of these folks have ever voted for Black ones….IF they’ve ever voted for anyone Black at all.
I also disagree that Black voters are voting for Obama “just because he’s Black”. It also may have something to do the fact that he’s well-spoken, has poise and charisma, is very well-educated, and appears to be a solid family man. Obama runs counter to the Flava-Flav and Hip-hop images that are mass-produced in the media every day and I believe the majority of Black folks appreciate that about him. You have to understand that Obama is a rarity in politics. Black men with his education and comportment rarely go into elective politics…they’re too busy making money in the private sector. And keep in mind that neither Shirley Chisholm, Al Sharpton, or Jesse Jackson pulled nearly the voting percentages of the Black voters in the primaries that Obama received, so it’s more than “Blackness” at play here although I do concede that it is a big factor. But it’s not the ONLY factor….

JJ, it isn’t just that blacks are just now getting behind this guy, it’s the fact that guilty white libs have the attitude that, “Gee, it’s time we had a black president.” This guy is just better at coming off nice instead of nutty and angry about the 400 years of oppression they make an issue out of instead of present day issues that he is so out of touch with. Half the idiots with “Obama 08” signs and stickers are guilty white libs. They truly don’t know half the dirt on B.O. and think it’s internet rumors that are indeed soo bad that if it was anybody else they’d believe it. But Obama is so nice and smiling and nice and for chaaaange that the morons are still drinking the kool aid.
You mentioned Sharpton and Jackson. Hmm how about where are they and his overtly racist wife? They have been advised to hide out for another 6 weeks and then they can resume the “game”. They don’t get much air time, do they, lately?

Also hasn’t it occurred to you that one good reason so many African Americans support Obama is that he’s a Democrat? Most African Americans are Democrats, or didn’t you know?

You have to have power in order to be taken serious as a REAL racist…otherwise, who cares about your opinion…it can’t hurt anyone. Also, when some say they are only voting for someone because they are black…it’s the same as saying they ARE NOT voting for someone because they’re black. So…what does it matter after all. Congress is the real President!
