Anti-Israel Israeli Author (& Race) on Obama’s Vacay Reading List
I’m not surprised that a novel by one of Israel’s most anti-Israel propagandists is on Barack Hussein Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard vacation reading list. Obama hates Israel, so why not read the “work” of an anti-Israel Israeli–a modern-day kapo who hates Israel as much as he does–to back it up?
Barack Hussein Obama a Big Fan of Anti-Israel Israeli Author David Grossman
David Grossman’s “The Yellow Wind” is one of the most viciously, lie-filled anti-Israel novels there is. The rest of his writing is similar. Grossman might as well be collecting a paycheck from HAMAS or the Bin Laden family. He writes so they don’t have to. And now his latest book is on Obama’s reading list, which includes–shocker–nothing on great American leaders in history or the greatness of America . . . probably because he’s neither interested in great American leaders nor does he think we are a great country (and we are slightly less great thanks to him). It’s no surprise that one of his books is about Blacks and their integration into American society. Clearly, he’s obsessed with the issue and isn’t “post-racial” at all.
US President Barack Obama has taken an asset of permanent value on his vacation at Martha’s Vineyard: David Grossman’s novel, “To the End of the Land.”
According to a White House statement, the Israeli writer’s book is one of three books the American president plans to read during his 10-day holiday.
The other two books were authored by Abraham Verghese, an Ethiopian-born physician who began writing best-sellers several years ago, and journalist Isabel Wilkerson, who wrote about African Americans’ integration into the American society.
Hmmm . . . a book about race in America, a book by an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, pro-HAMAS Jew, and a book by an Ethiopian. Gee, he’s not trying to send a message is he?
If Obama wanted to read a good Israeli author, I’d suggest something by Efraim Karsh, who tells it the way it is. Italian Journalist Giulio Meotti writing in the left-wing Israeli newspaper, Yediot Achronot, has a nice summary of David Grossman’s co-dependence on Judenrein (as well as that of his fellow kapo, Israeli writer, Amos Oz):
Grossman’s paradigm, simply put, was always the same: Israel must end its role of occupier and oppressor if the horror of terrorism is to end.
It seems as though Grossman’s conscience as an intellectual hasn’t been shaken by the Twin Towers attack, by the 1,600 Israeli civilians killed in terror attacks, by a decade of rockets on southern Israeli cities or by Iran’s atomic death cult.
Shortly after the Gaza war, Grossman called for an independent inquiry into the conduct of the IDF, paving the way for the biased Goldstone’s report. He also urged dialogue with Hamas. When Grossman went to collect a cash prize funded by the Israeli state, he refused to shake hands with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
After the flotilla incident, Grossman charged that Israel behaves like “a band of pirates.” He said the blockade on Gaza was “despicable,” attacking the Israeli government “which is prepared to embitter the lives of a million innocent people in the Gaza Strip, in order to obtain the release of one imprisoned soldier.” …
When Ariel Sharon sent forces into the West Bank to defeat the terrorists, both Grossman and Oz went to help the Palestinians with their olive harvest. Their noble generosity didn’t stop Hamas from slaughtering two Jewish girls in a nearby settlement, Linoy Sarussi and Hadas Turgeman. Now, again, after a new Jewish family was destroyed in Itamar, the writers chose to send postcards and books to the terrorists. Israel deserves better bards.
And America deserves better Presidents . . . with better reading lists.

There is nobody worse than somebody who will sell-out his own people. Hmmm, now which one am I thinking of here?
