What’s the FBI Hiding? Agency Claims it “Lost” Videotape of OK City Bombing

By Debbie Schlussel

More famous incompetence from Famous But Incompetent a/k/a the FBI.  Can you believe the FBI accidentally “lost” videotapes of the Oklahoma City bombing, one of the largest terrorist attacks on U.S. soil?  I don’t believe it either.  And neither does attorney Jesse Trentadue.  But that’s what the feds are claiming. Funny how the FBI never loses evidence . . . unless it’s convenient (as they did in the Sami Al-Arian trial). And anytime they are Forever Buttkissing Islam, per usual.

Famous But Incompetent “Loses” OK City Bombing Video

Trentadue has done a great deal of investigation–good, old-fashioned digging–to show that others, likely Islamic terrorists, were involved in the Oklahoma City bombing, betraying the false claim of organized Muslims, who constantly cite the attack as an example of massive non-Islamic terrorism on U.S. soil.  As I’ve repeatedly noted, Jayna Davis–an Oklahoma City television reporter at the time of the bombing–uncovered FBI reports, etc., confirming that a Muslim man, Hussain Al-Hussaini, who worked for Saddam Hussein was seen with bombing perpetrator Timothy McVeigh when he rented the van used in the attack.  Al-Hussaini was also seen with McVeigh repeatedly surrounding the time of the explosion.  That much the FBI admits, but won’t give a plausible explanation regarding the agency’s claim he had nothing to do with the attacks.

As I’ve been noting for some time, more and more information has come out about John Doe #2 in the Oklahoma City bombing and alleged Muslim involvement in the attacks, including an FBI memo discussing it.  Now Trentadue has uncovered something else.  Using the Freedom of Information Act, he sought the FBI videotape of the actual bombing.  And the FBI claims it “can’t find” the tapes.  They are “lost.”

Do you believe it?  If so, I have some land under the J. Edgar Hoover building to sell you.  Clearly, there is something on that tape that isn’t meant for public eyes, at least as far as the FBI is concerned.  What is it?  And why–if the tapes are truly lost (which is hard to believe)–would video of one of the largest attacks against Americans on U.S. soil, be so easily misplaced and not kept safely?

The FBI has not found videotapes from the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that are being sought by a Utah lawyer and do not believe another records search is reasonable or will uncover the information, the agency has told a federal judge.

FBI officials are “unaware of the existence or likely location of additional tapes” that would fulfill the Freedom of Information Act request filed by Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue, agency attorneys said in court papers filed last week.

Trentadue sued the FBI and the CIA in 2008 to get the videos and contended the FBI’s efforts to locate the information have been inadequate. He is looking for surveillance tapes taken the morning of the bombing from exterior cameras on the Murrah building and dashboard camera video from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s arrest of Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh was convicted of and executed for the bombing.

Trentadue asserts that the videos exist and will expose that others were involved in the domestic terrorist attack that killed 168 people.

But attorneys for the agency said the electronic databases have not turned up the records, nor have manual searches of FBI crime labs, evidence centers or a warehouse in Oklahoma City. A further search of a records cache totaling an estimated 450,000 documents — from just the first 14 days of the investigation — in the warehouse would be “unreasonably burdensome” and could take a single staff person more than 18 months to conduct, court papers said.

The conclusions were included in a court-ordered explanation of the FBI’s response to the records request. U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups had ordered the agency to provide a detailed explanation of its records search last month.

The judge will consider the response in deciding whether the FBI complied with federal information laws in Trentadue’s case. It was not clear when the judge might rule.

Trentadue said in an email to The Associated Press that the government’s explanations don’t provide any new information.

“In short, nothing but more of the same institutionalized dishonesty, deception and disrespect for the Constitution,” Trentadue wrote.

Trite but true:  where there’s smoke there’s fire.  And there’s enough smoke here to flavor all of Alaska’s salmon.  Hussain Al-Hussaini wasn’t hanging out with McVeigh “just ‘cuz.”  Something else was going on.

You know it.  I know it.  The FBI knows it.  And probably the videotape shows it, just like Trentadue believes.

Wow. What a bombshell (no pun intended.) Never heard one word about muslim involvement until reading Debbie’s article. Now it makes sense.

Thanks again, Debbie. I don’t know what we’d do without you.

I can see how it can happen, having worked for a DOJ agency for years. Too much work, to much mobility, early retirement, distant off site storage in difficult to access locations, and political correctness all are contributing factors to this nonsense. During the conversion period to dvd I’ll bet these tapes never made it off of VHS. And naturally they were eager to get rid of that bulky old media….

I truly believe that the FBI accidentally lost the videos of the Oklahoma City bombing. But I also believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, and that Casey Anthony tells the truth.

Hardly a surprise. Timothy McVeigh didn’t do it alone. Even the FBI clearly knows that much but doesn’t want to admit it screwed up its own investigation!

That says it all.

Atleast they were honest about 9/11.

    Not in my eyes!

The FBI is run by global elites…the same who get help in staging false flag terror events.

What say any of you to this statement…

“‘In short, nothing but more of the same institutionalized dishonesty, deception and disrespect for the Constitution,’ Trentadue wrote.”

By the way, McVeigh…GOVERNMENT OPERATIVE!!!! Papers are out there to support it.

There’s also the question of thermobaric explosives used, which of course were proliferated from the Soviet Union to Islamic states all over the world.

Allegations of Moslems involvement has been around awhile. Terry Nichols made several trips to the Philipines, somemtimes oddly without his Filipino-born wife.

“Stephen Jones, the trial attorney who first represented Tim McVeigh, cited evidence of a meeting in Davao City, in Mindanao in 1992 or 1993, when 1993 World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef and Al Queda members Abdul Hakim Murad, Wali Khan Amin Shah and a ‘farmer’ who fit the description of Nichols met to discuss the Oklahoma bombing. Jones said the FBI was aware of the meeting.”

Do murderous jihadis and their agents have a better conspirator than the fbi?

Let’s review:
– When jihadis execute jihad in the name of allah screaming “allah-hu akbar” there’s ‘nothing to indicate terrorism’ and it’s ‘just a crime.’
– ‘muslim outreach’ including but not limited to meals with MB/Hamas terror fronts in the US have always been a top priority of the fbi.
– How many muslim attacks have seen evidence destruction, refusal to take eyewitness statements and/or accounts?
– How many muslim attacks have seen INSTANT “intelligence” lies leaked to the complicit press indicating the jihadi was underprivileged, off his meds, troubled, or had a mommy who took him away from her breast too soon and he never got the red bicycle he wanted?
– How many times after a muslim terror attack has the fbi said “We’re on the alert for any BACKLASH” and “will prosecute any response to the fullest extent, safeguarding liberties and religious liberties for all.” (Wow, almost puked on that one…)
– The fbi blows off 9/11 by saying “yeah, we failed to connect the dots” so give us a shitload more money and power. And oh yeah we lost da OKC tapes, fuggehdaboutit, sucks to be you, CITIZEN.

Conversely, there is no greater threat to Liberty, Freedom, the Constitution, Patriots, and (dialing back to the 50’s) The American Way of Life.

Jihadis are dangerous to our country, TRAITORS are death to our country.

I have always been bothered by the cover up and lies that followed Oklahoma City. Bill Clinton blamed talk radio. Our government used this bombing to attack our citizens. I wonder if the truth will ever come out.

Didn’t Trentadew see the trial? Eye witnesses that saw a companion with Timothy were all smoking weed just like the pilot that saw the rocket shot down TWA 800. Hard to have a peace dividend to buy votes when there is Iraqi sponsored terrorism. How can anyone trust the FBI to investigate anything?

This is strange. It is hard to believe that surveillance footage from such a high profile bombing would go missing. If for no other reason, one would expect that such evidence would be preserved if others were involved in the bombing. Also, losing such crucial material could induce Terry Nichols to renew efforts to appeal his conviction. Finally, if records clerks are actually mishandling such important evidence, what is happening with the more mundane evidence collected from surveillance efforts and crimes scenes? Would not a private sector business fire an accountant or auditor who lost the data necessary to complete a company’s quarterly report to shareholders? If the materials were actually lost, has anyone bothered to check the line of custody for them? Or, was anyone disciplined for negligence in this matter, such as a records supervisor?

Guess who…

We don’t know about any stinkin’ AK-47s sent to Mexico.
I didn’t have sex with THAT WOMAN…
READ MY LIPS, no new taxes.
The Birth Certificate is accurate and original.
We are not at war with Libya / Kadaffi.
Yes, the SERBS are the villians.
There are moderate Muslims.

Here’s an idea for a book: THE A to Z OF GOVERNMENT LIES, CONTRADICTIONS, AND MISDIRECTIONS.

The people who cannot “find” the video tapes should be FIRED.

Dennis, how could you skip Saddam’s uranium and WMDs, and “clean and safe air” in NYC after 9-11?

Begletz on July 8, 2011 at 11:02 am

Hey Begletz, it is good to know that Comments are actually read.
I do think Saddam had, at the least, Chemical Weapons, i.e. gas, as well as Yellow Cake. Nukes? Remember, there were Fighter Jets buried in the desert and Iraq had been at war with Iran for 8 or 10 years. Saddam had been raised by an uncle who was associated with Hitler and Nazis during WWII.

The 9-11 destruction was horrendous and created so much “dust and ash” – people who we knew and those our friends knew were part of the “dust and ash” and it grinds me every time we see the news clips – and, yes, I believe there was an under-statement that the air was ok. However, if people were told to what extent air was bad to breathe…poisonous…what panic would have ensued? My only answer to your question is to say that everyone has to research what is being said and to use objective reality to make your decisions. Governments, in the very least, hedge the truth. So, think if you were the POTUS, what would you have done…and please before answering, recall Bush’s face when he was informed while with the school kids.

Hindsight is always 20/20. We have to make choices “in the moment”. Thanks for the reply…I do not do long stings…so long and keep aware.

The media has been very silent about abu sayyaf and their connection with the Oklahoma City bombing.

burt on July 8, 2011 at 8:20 am

The FBI and their media allies have been very silent about abu sayyaf’s involvement with the Oklahoma City bombing. They are also very silent about the third man involved in that bombing.
Can anyone say Whitey Bulger?

I still want to know why McVeigh was executed so quickly.

“The FBI has not found videotapes from the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that are being sought by a Utah lawyer…” meaning, that the tapes were “lost” (as you suggested) or that they never existed? Maybe there were no tapes?

I cannot tell a lie, that rellay helped.

It’s no wonder with the number of muslims infiltrating our governmental agencies. No telling who walked off with them if they are in fact gone.

CJ on July 8, 2011 at 12:28 pm

I remember the bombing when there were immediate news reports that additional explosive had been found after the initial blast. I also remember the John Doe reports. After the explosion, a former consultant on explosives for the US Army stated that the damage to the building could not have been caused by the truck bomb but had to be caused by internal explosives planted inside the building. This cover up of the Oklahoma City Bombing is up there with the destruction of Flight 800 in 1996 (center tank explosion my butt). I am not a truther or birther, but I believe that our government routinely lies to us and not for our benefit.

Concerned Citizen on July 8, 2011 at 12:48 pm

I recall the news reports issued shortly after the explosion where the area was evacuated because other explosives were found. Of course, those reports were in “error.” I also remember the reports of John Doe and how the FBI eventually dropped its search for him. I also remember that a former consultant on explosives for the US Army stated that the truck explosion could not have caused all the damage and the collapse of the building. He opined that explosive charges were rigged. Although I am not a truther or birther, I believe that this is a evil cover-up on par with the explosion of Flight 800 in 1996 (center tank explosion my butt).

Concerned Citizen on July 8, 2011 at 12:54 pm

from wikipedia:

“The Mossad allegedly informed the FBI and CIA in August 2001 that based on its intelligence as many as 200 terrorists were slipping into the United States and planning “a major assault on the United States.” The Israeli intelligence agency cautioned the FBI that it had picked up indications of a “large-scale target” in the United States and that Americans would be “very vulnerable.” A month later, terrorists struck at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.”

Dr Dale on July 8, 2011 at 5:22 pm

Husseini may have been an Iraqi agent. McVeigh, of course spent time in the Persian Gulf, and so could have been contacted then.
