Dumb Question of the Day: Uber-Raunch Promoted at FOX Teen Show

By
Okay, here goes for the Dumb Debbie Question of the Day:
Is it just me . . . or is there a palpable problem with FOX having the three stars of depraved, disgusting raunch-fest “Superbad” as presenters at the “Teen Choice Awards” (tonight on FOX)? (Yes, that includes “McLovin.”)

After all, the movie is rated “R,” which means that the bulk of the teen audience to whom the awards show is aimed (sorry, but normal kids over 14 don’t watch the lame show). Every other word in “” is bleep-mandatory, and , this perverted movie makes “Porky’s” sound like a G-rated Disney movie. It’s more like “Playboy Forum.” Most teens can’t go to this movie without a parent. And the parents who allow their children to go–or, more bizarre, accompany them to it–are warped.
To make my point, here are a couple of things you see in “Superbad”:
* The main character dances with a woman at a party who is not wearing underwear. He gets a giant stain of menstrual blood on his jeans near his crotch.
* The main character has an obsession with drawing pictures of penises and testicles. They show you the many, many, many, many warped photos.
Yup, just the kinda stuff 13-year-olds need to be exposed to.

The “Superbad” Three

So, why is Rupert Murdoch’s FOX promoting this movie and its three uber-nerdy stars on a show aimed at early teens and pre-teens?
Don’t expect Bill O’Reilly to grill his boss on that. Who’s looking out for you . . . and your kids?
Not FOX or Murdoch.
What’s next–the cast of “Deep Throat Returns” hosting the show? I hear Hillary-fans Heidi Fleiss and newly-retired Jenna Jameson are available, too.
Boy do I miss “Revenge of the Nerds.”
**** UPDATE: Unfunny “comedian” Dane Cook just won an award and cursed a storm. He used the S-word and some other words, all of which were bleeped out. Way to go, Dane.
**** UPDATE #2: Multiple-arrestee, drug dealer and user, and “former” pimp Snoop Dogg makes an appearance. Ditto for equally execrable rapper Ludacris. Thanks again, Rupert. Just what the average 11-year-old needs to be exposed to. And um, Mr. Murdoch, it makes the multiple anti-drug PSAs you’re running during the show a bit hypocritical.

Debbie, these movies are much worse than the teen movies we saw and the kids are worse, too. the nudity i so welcomed in revenge of the nerds is passe to kids who grew up with the internet. the teens today are more self centered and amoral than 20 years ago, and thanks to the public school system, more ignorant than ever.

[Most teens can’t go to this movie without a parent. ]
You mean without an adult at least 18 yrs old. Plus there are still plenty of 18 and 19 yr olds who are going to see it if they haven’t already. As for the so-called ‘role models’, people just have to get used to these modern role models with feet of clay. Word up, Snoop and Ludacris.

I’m so glad we have you to review the “culture” stuff for us. How low does it go? Reading this post of yours makes me gag from the content–glad I’m not in touch. I heard this moron on Beckmann/WJR on Friday promoting Superbad. Beckmann called him the next Will Farrell whom we’ll see all over. Lovely! Now I know why he compared to Farrell.

Dane Cook? More like, LAME Cook!
I hate that moron with a passion…
Anyway, nice catch with the anti-drug ads/Snoop Dogg hypocrisy, Deb. This country needs some real role-models. Unfortunately, they won’t come from our government…

And they won’t come from out own community becuase the media won’t let you know.
I don’t need to get used to any of these low life thugs trying to be role models. They are far from it…but since jaillibby isn’t a father nor has this creep ever proved that he was an uncle or babysitter, we can expect more praise from pig-like males such as him who make real males like me feel sad to be an american male at all.

I think that the simple answer is that FOX and Murdoch simply do not give a fig for what damage they do tot he fabric of American life or for the false values that they instill in American teenagers. If it makes money for them, then they are all for doing it. It appears to be just that simple, without any further considerations of ethics, morals, or the future of the country. They are selling out the country just as surely as the Leftist that want to open the flood gates to unlimited immigration.
This comes from a focus on self and a total disregard for the nation, the people of which they are a part. They have no concern for the future of that nation, for its internal cohesiveness, for its morals, it ability to survive and compete in the community of nations. They are concerned only with getting as much as they can for themselves today — greed, mixed with a lack of any personal morals because they themselves have long since been corrupted.

And the way I see it..a white young guy has to be “accepted” in society by being like the pig-like males in superbad. Same with the girls having to be like the sluts-in-training from the flick as well. And if they don’t go along with the society program of what a person has to be…then they “don’t exist” and can’t have friends and don’t have a life, blah blah blah.
