“Git-R-Done”: “Larry the Cable Guy” is a Fan of Schlussel Site

By Debbie Schlussel
I’m always interested in who is reading this site. It’s quite a diverse group of people. So diverse that it even includes the very cool Nebraskan, Dan Whitney a/k/a “Larry the Cable Guy.” As you might expect, he’s a conservative and a patriot. Dan a/k/a Larry sent me these two e-mails, which he gave me permission to publish. And, yes, it’s really him. We had a nice chat on the phone, last night.

Hey Debbie. This is Dan Whitney A.K.A. Larry the Cable Guy. I just had a second from touring and I’m here at the house and figured I’d drop you an e-mail. I’m a huge fan of yours and have enjoyed listening to you on Howards [DS: Howard Stern] show back in the day and I hear you on Mike Church as well [DS: Sirius Patriot Channel 144–I’m on every Friday morning between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Eastern].
Your web site rocks as well, and it’s one of the few sites I ever visit that has great insight on things. I just wanted to let ya know I appreciate what you do and let ya know I’m a fan. I’m sure you catch a lot of s–t from left wing bloggers and I love your kiss my ass mentality. I gotta tell ya there’s not one thing I disagree with you about except maybe the fact that I liked Rambo. I actually sat so close to the screen I actually saw his face move a couple times!
Anyway keep doing what your doing and know that there’s
alot of entertainers out here that love ya!
git-r-done! Dan/Larry the Cable Guy
By the way my wife is also a big fan and we’d love to have ya out to a show sometime. Larrythecableguy.com See ya!

My movie DVD release of “Witless Protection” comes out in June. [DS: He will be on “The Tonight Show” in June to promote it.]
Like I said, I really respect you and their no holds barred CORRECT view on things. But your web site really is doin’ good things and you have no idea how much of a positive difference you make in the fight against this socialist disease that has infested our country. You have helped me in my attempt to grow some thick skin. Believe me I need it. And I just tell goofy one liners!!! Anyway, keep doin’ yer thang!
git-r-done! Dan/Larry the Cable Guy

Thanks, Dan! Glad you like my work.

Debbie doesn’t do Howard’s show anymore. Artie the Slob Lange dumbed it down, so serious discussions are wasted there. And Robin logic chops on GWOT issues. Not a Schlussel friendly zone. As for Larry the Cable Guy, when he admits the utter depravity of Bush’s “islam is peace” vomit, I might give his green teeth comedy a second thought.

I’ve always been a fan of his (he’s the only one from the Blue Collar Comedy tour I’ve yet to see live), and knew he was a conservative, but my respect for him has just increased a bit more.

Good to see support once in a while! I’ve crossed so many celebrities off my TO WATCH list it’s refreshing to put on a person.

Now that’s funny, right there.

Debbie attracts a diverse fan base indeed: From LTCG to a few lurking libs (you know who you are) that are doubtlessly sitting around in their YES WE CAN T-shirts dreaming of government programs, troop withdrawals and mandated footbaths.
Now that ain’t right…Lord be with the starving pygmies down in New Guinea…

I couldn’t agree more with Larry the Cable Guy, even though I have no idea who he is. Debbie’s no BS truth telling is why I love this site.

I’m aware of LTCG but never payed much attention as I’m not a stand up fan. Guess I’ll have to watch him now as any FOD (Friend of Deb) is a friend of mine.
I did see some movie he did about mistakenly invading Mexico about a year ago. Dumb, but a not so bad dumb. I mention this as it also featured the guy who was in “Road Trip”, DJ Qualls. He worked for a lawyer just a couple of floors up where I work. This is one of those 6th Degrees thing I guess….

So besides having Black militant Zionist fans like me, you also got my favourite redneck comedian as a fan too!!! Hope those clowns at Sirius is reading your site…they could use you on Indie Talk.

We hear a lot about “diversity” and “community” from the left. But I can assure you that DS has a diverse community of loyal followers. I can’t believe that Sirus and XM haven’t offered Debbie her own radio show. No wander Sirius/XM are losing money! Give DS her own show and put her on the air ASAP! Such a no brain’er…
