McCain Campaign vs. Michigan Campaign Finance Chief on Hezbo Criminal

By Debbie Schlussel
I was gone most of the day because I was in Downtown Detroit doing an interview on the Rush Limbaugh-affiliate, WJR, regarding John McCain’s ex-Michigan campaign finance committee member, Hezbollah supporter and federally convicted criminal, Ali Jawad.
On Friday, Mr. Jawad was given a ridiculous, pandering interview, and I was on, this morning, to respond. I’ll try to post an audio file or a link to it on the WJR site, later.
Mr. Jawad claims that John McCain 2008 Michigan Finance Chairman James B. Nicholson, called him to tell him that the McCain campaign wants him back on board and didn’t find what I wrote about him credible. But I contacted the McCain campaign, and they emphatically deny that.

The Arab American News, the latest issue of which ran the claims of Jawad about John Mccain and Jim Nicholson has an Arafat-ian style of “reportage.” They write one thing in the English half of the paper, but a completely different, less sanitized version in the Arabic language part of the paper.
What follows is what ran in the Arabic part of the paper, known as Sada Al-Watan – “The Voice of the Country,” followed by the McCain campaign’s response discrediting what Mr. Jawad and Mr. Nicholson are claiming. Notice the emphasis on the female gender of myself and John McCain’s Michigan fundraising official. Yup, that gives Muslim men a prob, doesn’t it? Also notice how I’m described in the Arabic-language headline, as a “Zionist.” You know what that’s code for: “Jew.” Well, at least they didn’t use the adjective that they usually use to precede the word, “Evil”. Thank heaven for small favors.
Remember, Osama Siblani, the editor of this “newspaper,” has been identified as an agent of Hezbollah by Al-Seyassah, the Kuwaiti newspaper, and his brother works for Hezbollah-TV, Al-Manar, in Lebanon.

The Arabs and American Moslems are requesting from the McCain party an apology and their leader in Michigan agrees

Dearborn- Special (Sada Al-Watan (The Voice of the Country))
The Arab and American Moslems held a press conference at noon last Monday regarding questions addressed from a female employee in John McCain’s Campaign to a Lebanese-American business man and active member in the Republican Party, Ali Jawad regarding written accusations by a female. All members in attendance at the press conference are requesting an apology from the Republican Presidential Candidate.
The Sada Al- Watan learned that Jim Nicholson, the President of the Republican Campaign in Michigan, contacted Jawad last Thursday afternoon and apologized for the misunderstanding that happened and took into consideration that Mr. Jawad acted upon the situation professionally whether it was a voluntary or reactive resignation. Describing the accusations against Jawad from the female employee of the McCain Committee they have been found to have no foundation and Nicholson emphasized that he stood behind Jawad in this case.

Debbie,
Ali Jawad’s status with the campaign has not changed whatsoever, he is not part of the campaign, and will not be part of the campaign.
Hope that clears up any confusion.
Thanks,
Jeff

Debbie, in writing:

Mr. Nicholson did not at any point invite Ali Jawad to join our campaign, and any conversation was of a personal nature and not whatsoever campaign related.

Point of clarification: Does this mean that Mr. Nicholson also did NOT ask Ali Jawad to rejoin the campaign and/or continue to help with the campaign?

Yes

For the record, I contacted Mr. Nicholson at his PVS Chemicals office. He would not respond to a request for confirmation of the comments attributed to him. Perhaps he’s embarrassed.

As if there’s anything wrong with being a woman. They same people who are usually in favor of women’s rights fall silent when the contempt for women comes from Islamists. There’s too the double burden of being a woman and a Jew. The idea behind Zionism is Jews deserve to be treated as equals with other peoples and it isn’t a coincidence the people who reject equal rights for women also happen to reject equal rights for Jews. Its not Debbie Schlussel’s identity that is the issue; its Ali Jawad’s known ties to Hezbollah. There should be zero tolerance for enemy sympathization in American life in our political parties. That and the Islamists’ lack of respect for differing views in a free society will very much determine the future of America. Exposing them is the only first step towards ensuring this country will continue to remain free and eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Congratulations for bringing it to light, Debbie – you may have earned their hatred but you have the love and goodwill of millions of Americans who don’t want to see Hezbollah subvert this country’s politics. After killing hundreds of Americans and Israelis, they deserve to remain on an eternal blacklist.

Debbie,
I was able to listen to just about the whole interview on WJR this morning as my husband and I were running errands. We were nodding and applauding throughout your time on the air. You were factual and represented yourself well. I was embarrassed for John Truscott and the staff of WJR. I listened WJR’s interviews in the past with this man and I was always left wondering why they give him such a pass on his statements. Thankfully, you filled the void nicely today.
Keep up the great blogging and reporting. Despite what they think of your credentials to discuss this topic, many are grateful for all your hardwork!

Hi:
Please post that link that you promised. I can’t wait to hear your interview on WJR. I’ve also asked them to do the same.
Thank you.
