CHILLING: Muslim Terrorist FBI Refused to Investigate Targeted NY Bridges, Violent Crime Recd (But Targeted Jews, So OK to FBI)

By Debbie Schlussel

I did a little research into Ahmed Ferhani, the American-born Islamic terrorist of North African descent whom the FBI declined to investigate, claiming his terrorist plot to blow up New York synagogues was merely “aspirational.” It’s quite chilling to see the kind of monster the FBI thinks is “just a terrorist dreamer.”  Clearly, he’s not just aspirational.  He’s a violent criminal who feels strongly about Islam and has a penchant for taking pics of major New York City bridges.  That the FBI thinks this guy is not worthy of their attention tells you the I in the FBI definitely stands for Incompetent, NOT Investigation.  Somebody in the New York FBI and the agency’s headquarters in Washington needs to be fired.  Check out what I found (and what the FBI certainly also found but chose to ignore.)

Above is a photo of Ferhani, which I found on a website for aspiring actors, “New Faces Models & Talent.”  If you’re on the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force and you look the other way on this photo, dude, you’re a moron. As you’ll note, Ferhani is donning a keffiyeh, the scarf of hate and official accessory of Islamic beheading and martyrdom videos.  He is posing with a scowl in front of one of New York City’s major bridges. What was he doing near a major bridge in cold weather near nightfall?  Does this look like an “aspiring actor” to you . . . or a cold, calculating jihadist?  I’ve represented people in showbiz.  No one submits head shots that look like that, not even Arabs who want to play terrorists on TV and in the movies.  The picture indicates it was taken near nightfall on a cold day (he’s wearing a winter coat) and during bad weather and lighting, not the setting at which a real actor would take headshots (they are usually taken in a studio by a professional photographer).  But it is the time that someone would case a likely target for an act of terrorism . . . like the bridge in the background, which is just a few yards away.  What was Ferhani planning with that bridge?  Clearly, the FBI has no interest in finding out.  Does this guy really look like he’s “not a threat” to New York synagogues?  Only if you’re a moron . . . or FBI chief Robert S. Mueller (same difference).

Then, there is this October 2010 story from the New York Post.  Does this guy sound merely “aspirational” to you?  Or like he means business  . . . and carries it out?

A woman who invited a man back to her Midtown hotel room was tied up and robbed at gunpoint by her guest, police sources said.

Ahmed Ferhani, 25, pulled a firearm Friday night and demanded the woman lay on the floor in her room at the Park Central Hotel on Seventh Avenue near West 56th Street, the sources said.

He then duct-taped the victim’s hands behind her back and swiped $100 and a debit card, the sources said.

He fled but left behind his belongings, including a cellphone, jacket and the duct tape, the sources said.

Cops on Sunday busted Ferhani, who was charged with robbery.

Okay, so he’s not a smart terrorist. But nobody ever said all of these guys were geniuses. Remember the Shoe Bomber? No Al-Einstein.

The guy used a gun to rob a woman. You think he won’t use it on Jews at synagogues? Helloooooo . . . ?

Sorry, but I just don’t buy that this guy wasn’t dangerous and wouldn’t have carried out his plan to fundraise, purchase grenades, and then blow up New York synagogues. He was serious. As serious as his scowling, keffiyeh-encrusted pose in front of New York City infrastructure. Anyone who thinks otherwise can buy one of the Manhattan bridges I have to sell them.

While Inspector Clouseau, Sgt. Schultz, and the FBI may look the other way, I’m glad the NYPD arrested him before he perpetrated his scary plans.

The man is merely a curious tourist, obviously. (sarcasm)
Just pathetic this PC war waged against us.

The woman should be thankful she was only robbed… not raped and murdered. It could have been worse.

A guy with a scowl like that is not happy about something. How many would-be actors do you see who don’t smile? Not many.

Apart from the Jews, the FBI appears to have no interest in learning what else Ahmed Ferhani might have been up to.

We can only hope the local and New York state authorities do a better investigative job than the Feds did and that they send him away to prison for a long time.

NormanF on May 12, 2011 at 3:37 pm

Perhaps NYC needs to be attacked again for the FBI to find motivation to do their job?

Dr Dale on May 12, 2011 at 3:40 pm

I think a know where he is standing. The round building of the right looks like the campus of the NYS University Maritime College at the foot of the Whitestone Bridge. This is a major connection from the Bronx to Queens and a likely terror target as is the college.

Decades of instability along the gaza strip have taught us that these extremists have no interests in peaceful negotiations. This tightrope our federal government is walking will continue to provide an avenue for these threats to appear. While they may or may not act upon their threats, dismissing them and labeling them non-threatening is a huge mistake that will eventually result in catastrophe reminiscent of Sept. 11, 2001.

Lord Bedlam on May 12, 2011 at 4:24 pm

Perhaps Dear Leader has planned another attacks for us with one or more American cities in such dissarray (sp?) that it is “necessary” to delay the 2012 elections.

I would have laughed if someone had said that in 2008. Now I would not even be surprised.

PS – Have you seen the leftie kiddies taunting “Bush couldn’t get osama in 8 years, and obama did it in 2.” Idiots. I also read a columnist giving obama credit for STUXNET the other day. Geesh!

I’d like to turn back the clock to say, oh, the 1950’s when people still had brains.

That there is a SNEER. A conteptuous, narisstic, hate-filled SNEER.

Did he get sentenced for the 2010 attack on the woman? In any sane jurisdiction, that’s at least armed robbery, and one could think of a couple more charges to tack on.

We are SO screwed. Even Eric Holder’s “people” are going to pay for the FBI’s refusal to call a spade a spade.

dahozho on May 12, 2011 at 4:47 pm

The FBI is completely worthless. The silver lining here is that he’s being dealt with by the NYPD — he has a much better chance of facing justice there.

I wonder who discovered this scumbag first, and if the Patriot Act had anything to do with it.

Vince on May 12, 2011 at 5:07 pm

Guys, if we had Jay Edgar Hoover in the FBI today, this BS would’ve never happend, and this Ahmed Ferhani SOB would be investigated and put in jail or be put into exile in the middle east (where he originally came from). I live in the same city and borough (Queens, NY) as this dude, and his neighbors are stunned that there was a terrorist living amongst them.

PS, have any of you notice that since Obama caputered Osama Bin Laden early last week, that none of you haven’t heard or seen any type of anti-american rhetoric from muslim zealots in this country! They know that their sorry asses are next to be captured and probably investigated.

Who, I wonder, took the photo of this animal? It’s possible that the camera was placed on a tripod and programmed to allow Ferhani to get in front of the camera before the shutter was tripped, or else he had a friend take the photograph. If so, that “friend” should also be apprehended and investigated by law enforcement.

Maybe Bloomberg can get him a job building the Ground Zero mosque that Bloom-money grabber has been well paid for by the racist punk’s co-religionists?

Bill C. on May 12, 2011 at 8:43 pm

Debbie,

You are so right. I was an actress in NYC for many years. No one would have a headshot like that…bad lighting, etc. And any casting agent would run.

natashaINFIDEL on May 12, 2011 at 9:29 pm

This is why I didn’t cheer when the seals’ not Obama, killed
Bin Ladin, I only felt its about time, we have a long way to go before we put a stop to all terrorism, and this includes erradicting AlQeada and all who think like them. Leave them in jail or kill them on the battlefield as enemy combatants and call it a day. Thats what Gen. Patten would’ve done.

Anthony on May 12, 2011 at 9:55 pm

I s’pose ya’ll heard that Matel is putting out a SEALS action figure with the face of obama! The SEALS should sue — total class-action suit. Or Americans should sue. Matel would have to have his permission for that. Damn, I’m speechless. (shaking head in contempt) Please, God, I know I ask ya every day, but again, please get this traitor and his grifter wife out of office! Preferrably BEFORE they invite any more thugs to rap at the White House? (poetry, my ass)

Chrisitan etc etc. on May 12, 2011 at 10:42 pm

This guy should take another headshot perhaps from SEAL Team 6?

Michael Shulman on May 12, 2011 at 10:07 pm

This is reminiscent of the bumbling FBI decision to ignore the 2 carloads of would be terrorists that kept getting themselves
“lost” at Camp Pendleton a few months ago. I have lost whatever little confidence in them that I once held. Maxwell Smart had more on the ball.

NancyB on May 12, 2011 at 11:04 pm

Debbie,

Is it incompetence on the part of Security, Law Enforcement, and such, that this guy, and others like him, get away with so much, or is it a conspiracy in which these law enforcement, “intelligence gathering” (an oxymoron?) agencies fail to pick up such matters as you, I, and others do?

Perhaps he is their pet “embed” who is working for the “good guys” and they cannot blow his cover. Perhaps he is playing both sides against the middle.

Perhaps he is a lying A#@, and the same people who ignored a lower level FBI agent’s concern that numerous Saudi Arab Muslims were taking flying lessons, but they did not take lessons in taking off or landing. Hmmmmm.

If I don’t know how to take off, and I am not adept at landing, but I am an ace pilot while in the air, then it stands to reason that: I already know how to take off and land, or I have no intention of taking off and landing, but I merely need to fly the plan somewhere.

If I don’t have an interests in taking off, but I intend the fly the aircraft, then it follows that my purpose is to act as a passenger while someone else, perhaps an experienced pilot, takes off.

Since I don’t care about landing the plane then it stands to reason that I’ll be using the aircraft for something only while in the air, and landing will not take place.

So, what does that mean?

The aircraft is to be used for something else, not taking off, not landing.

You can’t transport escaped terrorists if you don’t take off or land, but you can crash planes into people, places, buildings, etc., if you know how to fly while in the air.

Never mind. The FBI underling was ignored, as were the few air training centers who were alarmed at the notice that there were Arab-Middle Eastern men taking lessons but they had no interest in taking off or landing.

So, if a guy has a criminal record, has a photograph taking wearing the Islamic-militant-terrorist-Jew-Israel hating scarf/head gear, the Kafika, photographed before the foundationg-supports of a bridge, ignore it. Never mind, nothing to see here, move along, move along.

If something happens you can BET that the FBI, Homeland Security (another oxymoron. Since when does groping teenaged daughters, sons, old ladies, ex-beauty contest winners, adult males, females, etc., in their geneitals, anus, buttocks, breasts, etc., constitute “security?” Police officers, who underwent more severe, in-depth screening than TSA workers have, and who undergo six months to a year of Police Academy training, and rookie training, and more, before they can work on their own, are forbidden from doing such invasive “pat downs,” how does the TSA get away with it?

Let a police officer even accidentally brush NEAR a “private” area on a perp and that officer will be suspended with out pay, pending an investigation, then fired, tried, found guilty, and locked up in jail, where it will be open season on that police officer. During the intial steps, the investigation, etc., the officer’s name will be dragged throug the mud, he will be painted as a molester, etc., even if he did nothing wrong.

Not so with the TSA. You don’t like being groped? Whatcha gonna’ do about it, huh?

Keep your mouth shut or be dragged off and disappear for a while, put in prison, and never heard from or seen again, you terrorist you!

When will Congress, the Justice Department, the Courts, etc., put their foot down on this TSA vile violation of our rights and privacy?

Of course they will be especially respectful toward Muslims-Arabs. We cannot offend members of the Religion of Peace, Love, Tolerance, Mercy, Compassion, and Understanding. They might go berserk and kill, kidnap, tortue, behead, whip, and stone people to death, let alone blow things up. If they did, it would be the fault of the victims any how!

William on May 12, 2011 at 11:23 pm

To finish an incomplete thought in previos message, if something does happen after they ignore someone as a threat, the FBI, Homeland Security, et al, will be certain to get a jump on the news and stand up, give a news conference, and force the story that, “There is not indication that this is a terrorist act. Islam is THE Religion of Peace, Love, Tolerance, Mercy, Compassion, and Understanding (and Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Ba’haism, etc., are not).

Of course it will be the fault of the victims, and, again, the Phony Homeland Security chief will say that there is no indication that it is a terrorist event, and that this person acted alone, and there is nothing to fear, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

If a television crew video tapes a Muslim terrorist attack a woman, scream and yell at her, beat her, chop her into little pieces, all the while exlaining that he was ordered to do it by Imans and by al Qaeda, and if he proves it on the spot, all while yelling “Allahu Akbhar!!! Allahu Akbhar,” etc., the Homeland Security and others will stil deny that it has anything to do with terrorism, Islam, or whatever.

William on May 12, 2011 at 11:31 pm

“A woman who invited a man back to her Midtown hotel room was tied up and robbed at gunpoint by her guest, police sources said.”

I would love to know the circumstances under which any woman with a lick of sense would invite anybody who looked like this up to her apartment. Did he offer to wallpaper her kitchen at a discount or something? I’m going to have to assume they met in a bar, and she probably had more than a few drinks too many.

Irving on May 12, 2011 at 11:43 pm

If you looked like that, you’d be angry, too.

This is why the fool Mueller has to be canned. He is an idiot. He thinks his thoughts amount to real life.

    Good luck with it happening.

Our society is unable to stand up to the enemies within.

CUNY not only betrayed Jeffrey Weisenfeld, they’re going to fly the PLO flag at the commencement just to put those uppity Jews their place. You know what I mean.

Every one today has lost their manhood.

I saw that Mueller has a new book out. It HAD looked compelling.

I was gonna ask if it was worth reading.

I know my answer now.

USA does more to help terrorists than stop them. It’s demoralizing.

Proof that the Fifth Column have taken over.

And am I the only person who believes that Osama really isn’t dead? If this were the 40’s, someone would’ve placed his severed head at the end of a stick so everyone could take notice!

Damned Koranimals.

Charles Steinberg is almost on the money – it is called SUNY Maritime College (my paternal grandfather & a few HS friends were merchant marines) But the bigger bullseye on that shot is it is the final position of landing lights for the approach at LGA. Quite possibly that is the lightsource used to illuminate his sneer. He might as well be wearing a “I came to the US to blow shit up and all I got was this ugly headscarf” T-shirt.
