Minister of Global Warming Ted Turner Gets It Slightly Wrong

If you’re going to push a fantastic horror story a/k/a phony theory of science, at least get your stories straight.
That’s advice best given to one of the wealthiest, most hypocritical pimps of the “Global Warming” fantasy–billionaire Christian-hater Ted Turner.
Last week, not coincidentally on April Fool’s Day, in an interview with PBS’ Charlie Rose, the CNN founder not only made the absurd comparison of fighting “Global Warming” with fighting the Nazis in World War II, but he presented a horror story to which even the most dyed-in-the-wool “Global Warming” scientists don’t subscribe:
TURNER: We have to mobilize the same way we did when we entered World War II in 1941. We have to fully mobilize everything we have and put it into changing the energy system over, and not just here in the United States, but all over the world. . . . not doing it will be catastrophic. We’ll . . . be eight degrees hotter in 10 – not 10, but in 30 or 40 years. And basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died, and the rest of us will be cannibals.
Civilization will have broken down. The few people left will be living in a failed state like Somalia or Sudan, and living conditions will be intolerable.
The droughts will be so bad, there will be no more corn growing. . . . we’ve got to stabilize the population.
ROSE: So what is wrong with the population? . . .
TURNER: We’re too many people. That’s why we have global warming. We have global warming because too many people are using too much stuff. If there were less people, they’d be using less stuff. . . . we’ve got to stabilize population. On a voluntary basis, everybody in the world has got to pledge to themselves that one or two children is it.
Reality check: Scientists pushing the “Global Warming” theory and agenda claim that temperatures will rise by a minute percentage each century. National Academy of Sciences proponents of Global Warming claim that the the last century was the warmest in 400 years because of
the globally averaged warming of about 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.6 degrees Celsius) that instruments have recorded during the last century.
Those scientists claim that alleged “warming” will continue at this rate, NOT Ted Turner’s sky-is-falling horror rate.
Global Warming scientists say temperatures have risen by a tenth of a degree every year since 1977 in such places as the Arctic Circle. In other locations–such as in the U.S. Midwest, we’ve actually had the coldest winter in decades–so the average temperature has slightly fallen.
While Ted Turner might be looking forward to the days of “Braised Thigh of Homosapien” on his dinner plate at the Sudanese Supper Club (or is that the Somalian one?) while the entire U.S. is a ghost town, it’s not coming anytime soon. . . if ever.
So much money, so few brain cells. Having sex with Hanoi Jane clearly atrophies what’s inside your noggin.

When these people speak it makes me cringe. Like actors telling us who to vote for… its idiotic.
