This is Muslim Peace: Palestinians Murder Man For Visiting Jewish Site

By Debbie Schlussel

You may have heard about the murder of Israeli 24-year-old Ben Yosef Livnat, who was killed in cold blood by Palestinian police for the “crime” of visiting Joseph’s Tomb, a holy site in Judaism. (Four other Jews were injured from Palestinian police gunshots.) But you probably  haven’t heard or read the important details, like how Israel’s IDF–which was supposed to give Jews permits for their regular visits to the tomb–were denying them and making them harder to get.  Can  you imagine if they didn’t let Muslims visit the Al-Aqsa mosque, built atop the holiest section of the Jewish Temple?  And then started shooting upon them for the “crime” of visiting?

“Peace with Muslims” . . .

Ben-Yosef Livnat: Murdered by Islam for Being a Jew

In general, the only times Israeli soldiers are even near that mosque are when they intently keep Jews from praying on or near that mosque, even though–again–it is built on top of the Temple Mount.  In contrast, several years ago, Muslims basically destroyed Joseph’s Tomb because this is how Muslims treat Jewish holy sites.  They destroy them and/or build on top of them.  In the case of Joseph’s Tomb, they did both a few years ago–desecrating and trying to vanquish the place, then designating it as a mosque. Here’s a tip: Joseph was Jewish, not Muslim. And Israel allows this crap because Israel continues its self-destructive pattern of bending over for these animals. The mainstream media news stories about how Livnat was killed because he didn’t have a permit are BS. Have you ever been killed for not having a permit? No, civilized people don’t do that. Livnat was murdered for one reason: he was a Jew. Oh, and he wasn’t Muslim. So, two reasons.

Don’t forget that these are the Palestinians police–the scum that we, Americans, trained and armed under Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush.  These are our “preferred” terrorists from Fatah that the younger Bush spent millions on campaigns for in various Palestinian elections.  And this is how they treat Jews who visit Jewish holy site, who weren’t bothering anyone, but for the fact that they exist as Jews.

This is important because one of the holiest sites in Judaism, Ma’arat HaMachpelah–the Cave of the Patriarchs, the cave which contains the graves of Abraham and the other Jewish forefathers, is also in the so-called West Bank, on land that the world wants Israel to give to the Palestinians for their wanna-be state.  It is hard enough for Jews to visit there now.  In my trips to Israel, I’ve never once been able to go there because it wasn’t safe enough for non-Muslims, each of those times.  Imagine what will happen if and when this land is officially made into a Palestinian state.

Jews should not have to get permits to visit Jewish holy sites. Jews shouldn’t have to sneak in to see those sites because the IDF refuses them permits.  Jews should be able to freely visit these sites and come back alive and in one piece.  But, sadly, that isn’t what happens because Israel gave in–under American pressure–to these animals.  And it will continue and expand, including upon visits to the graves of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.  And don’t think that this can’t or won’t ultimately happen with Christians visiting Bethlehem and important sites in Jesus’ story.

People like you and me will be murdered for visiting any and all of these places, just as happened to Ben Yosef Livnat.  Yup, this is what “Peace with Muslims” looks like:

Almost every night, Jewish worshippers sneak into Palestinian territory, where Joseph’s Tomb is located, without obtaining a permit. On Sunday morning such a “routine” visit ended with a fatal shooting that killed Ben-Yosef Livnat, a 24-year-old father-of-four and the nephew of Sports and Culture Minister Limor Livnat.

The entrance into the Tomb vicinity is usually coordinated by Chairman of the Yesod Olam association Haim Reicher, who also arranges entries to other holy sites in the West Bank.

“Seventeen years we’ve been fighting to pray at our holy sites,” he said, adding that the group – about 19 men in three vehicles – entered Nablus overnight without receiving authorization.

They entered the place, prayed, kissed the grave, and when they left Palestinian police officers opened fire at them. There was no confrontation prior to the shooting,” he noted.

According to Reicher, previous visits that were coordinated in advance ended with no incident. . . .

“Coordinating with the army is extremely difficult; they don’t talk to us and when we want to organize a visit they want to communicate only through faxes.”

Reicher noted that he has prayed at Joseph’s Tomb hundreds of times, and that the place is frequently visited by hundreds of worshippers.

“The problem is that we’re allowed to visit only once every month or two. They give us 10 buses, which can carry only 50 people each – but over half a million want to visit.”

Imagine if you needed a permit to go to your church or synagogue, and the government told you that you could only go once a month and that only a certain number of people could go each time. It sounds like the Marxist government of the former Soviet Union. But it’s what Jews must do “in the interest of peace” with Muslim savages.

As the execrable Dr. Phil would say, “An’ howzz that workin’ for ya?”

Like I said, first these Muslims practically destroyed Joseph’s Tomb. Now they take and destroy lives of innocent Jews who go to visit it.

And the world continues to expect the Jews and Israel to make “peace” with these savages?!

Ben-Yosef Livnat, Zichrono LiVrachah [Blessed Be His Memory].

What’s despicable is the Israeli government tried to blame the Jews for the murder instead of the PA who should have been protecting them.

The fact they didn’t get a permit doesn’t justify the assault on them. Freedom of worship at a Jewish holy neither requires permission from Israel or the Arabs. If it does that, its meaningless.

Jews have the right to worship at Joseph’s Tomb, period, regardless of whether or not the Israeli government approves.

Ben-Yosef Livnat (May his memory be for a blessing and may G-d avenge His blood) was a relation by the way of Israeli Minister Limnor Livnat. She might start by asking how the government’s cowardice resulted in the death of a Jew.

Its time to stop surrendering to Islam – or one day the Jews will find themselves left without a country!

It’s simple, really-
The ‘world’ hates G-d.
The ‘world’ is at war against G-d.
The ‘world’ hates those who seek to know, serve, and love G-d.
The ‘world’ is filled with pride, and pride is the horse that pulls the wagon full of every other sin.

Miss Schlussel, Et Alii:

Ah, but you bring back fond memories!

As you know, when I was serving in Viet Nam with the 101st Airborne, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the Land of Israel in August of 1971.

Not knowing anything, I stayed at a hotel in Tel Aviv (where I was VERY lucky to even get a room!), and thus, all of my guided tours were Jewish, not Christian.

Much of my time was spent secretly staring at a girl from Montreal, Canada, who remained an unknown stranger, because I was too shy to speak to her.

When we went to Hebron, we were guarded by Israeli police armed with Uzi machineguns, and we were not permitted to enter the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

When we visited the Temple Mount, we were allowed to enter the Dome of the Rock, but not the Al Aqsa Mosque.

In the Golan Heights, Israeli soldiers with mine detectors scoured the edge of the highway we were on.

Just inside the entrance to Kibbutz Ayelot Hashahar, across the road from Tel Hazor, we could see the bomb shelter designed for the children.

I loved Israel, and wish I could go back.

But, even if I had the money, I probably wouldn’t, because I refuse to patronize any airport or commercial airline while the onerous “U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T.” Act, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Transportation Security Administration are violating the unalienable rights of American citizens.

Because I see no other viable option, I actively support an armed revolt as necessary to restore our lost republic, our unalienable rights, and our Constitution of the United States of America.

No, thanks to the Internet, I’m not the only one who’s having these thoughts.

It’s estimated that there are at least three million American gunowners, many of whom are highly trained and experienced military combat veterans, who are now prepared to rise up in open armed rebellion.

All it will take to ignite this new civil war will be one stupid mistake by our own government, such as another Waco or Ruby Ridge.

So, don’t worry about Israel.

Until and unless we successfully regain our lost liberties, there’ll be plenty of blood in the streets right here in America.

Thank you.

Actually, I don’t blame the Arabs, I blame Israel. You expect a rabid dog (the Arabs) to attack people, but I expect a reasonable person (Israel) to shoot it.

The Israelis should have rebuilt Joseph’s tomb, and banned Arabs from visiting it. Instead, they reward Arab violence by basically preventing Jews from visiting the holy site.

Time and time again, the Arabs act badly, and Israel rewards them. When a terrorist site is struck in Gaza, Israel reimburses any Arab “civilians” hurt in the attack. Do the Arabs reimburse the Israelis they kill, wound, maim, and rape?

If Israel got tough with the Arabs, this nonsense would stop. But Israel is more interested in being dead and mourned by the world, then cursed and living by the world.

Jonathan E. Grant on April 24, 2011 at 8:18 pm

Jon, while there is much blame to go around, I blame mainly the rabbis of Israel. Based on a recent survey discussed in Ynet, Orthodox Jews (National Religious and Haredi) overwhelmingly support the idea of a “price tag” policy that would involve, for example, the killing of Muslims from a village that hosted a Jew killer. We must suppose that other Torah-based actions in connection with a situation of milchemet mitzvah (defensive Jewish holy war) are also understood by the Orthodox. Then we ask how the Orthodox learned these things, and we must turn to the rabbis (who, in Israel, are only Orthodox).

And yet these “rabbis” are scared little mice in public. They will not articulate what we all know about what is moral action in regards to the Bnei Amalek (Muslims).

BTW, 50% of “traditional” Jews also support a “price tag” policy. Only the purely secular, who are now a (large) minority, oppose it, and then only by about 67%.

skzion on April 24, 2011 at 8:56 pm

Skzion, Judah and his brothers killed Hamor’s family for the rape of their sister Dinah. What Hamor’s clansmen did was an affront to Israel and they were wiped out.

That’s Jewish ethics, not the pagan code Kasher and the Israeli Far Left successfully imposed on the IDF. Its not Jewish morality to turn the other cheek and be murdered. Havlagah is the most insane, I say – anti-Semitic policy ever imposed on the Jewish people.

It indoctrinates Jews with a feeling of guilt and prevents the Jew from defending himself in the face of evil. Jews like Debbie who know what self defense means fight back when they are attacked and get to live to tell the tale.

Stupid Jews who believe the Arab has the same moral regard for them end up being dead Jews.

Human nature will never change and while there is evil in the world, we must respond in the right way. Judah and his brothers did not extend their hand outstretched in peace to Hamor. They exterminated his entire line.

The Arabs will never stop murdering Jews and as long as Israel treats them as the equivalent of a civilized people – which they have forfeited through their barbarous conduct – Israel will never know a single day of peace.

NormanF on April 24, 2011 at 9:12 pm

Jon, true – there’s something sick and depraved about the Jewish psyche when the Israeli police arrests the victims for have the temerity to peacefully exercise their rights. What normal country does that?

Then after reading the interview in The Jerusalem Post this weekend with so-called “ethicist” Asa Kasher, I was more enlightened. Israel you see, must spare the life of the enemy because he’s a human being. But that’s not how the Arabs see Jews. They see them as fit only to be slaughtered. There are NO Kasher moralizing holier than thou ethics on the Arab side.

His entire approach to war is that of an imbecile in the university ivory tower. The truth is you either kill the bad guy or he kills you. Kasher never bothered to read Clausewitz, generally regarded as the greatest military theorist of all time. There is no place for morality or humane sentiment in war for if you allow it, the enemy will live on to destroy you later. That’s a lesson Israel’s suicidal Jewish elite hasn’t absorbed and why the IDF refuses to fight to win.

In short, I find myself with agreeing with you: when Israel punishes Jews and rewards Arab savages, more Jews will die in the future. That’s only lesson apparent from today’s events. Who cares about Yosef Livnat?

If Israel only stopped being concerned with the fate of the Arabs and how world opinion perceives it, rivers of Jewish blood would stop being shed in the Jewish State.

That is a thought to take away for the final days of Passover.

    Amen, Jonathan.

commonsense on April 25, 2011 at 12:19 pm

Debbie if I were to enter a Palestinian controlled area with no security I’d expect to get shot, particularly if I knew armed Arabs were watching me. These religious people seem fatalistic when they should be more concerned with preserving their own lives.

A1 on April 24, 2011 at 9:11 pm

The Breslover Hassidim have courage. They are more Jewish in my eyes than Israeli Jews who console Arab murderers.

They are willing to die to honor an ancestor of the Jewish people.

That kind of decent conduct merits high praise in this world. I love Jews dearly who walk with their heads held high and proud and I hate those who act in a craven manner before their murderers.

Is principle too much to ask for in this world? Let’s remember Yosef Livnat – dear Benyo as he was known to friends and family, gave up his life to sanctify the Name Of G-d in the world. That is the highest reward a Jew could wish for – Kiddush Hashem.

And every Jew alive should follow his example in living a g-dly life upon this earth!

1967: Takeover of the Temple Mount. what happened? Why is there a Waqf?

John Wren on April 24, 2011 at 9:16 pm

    Good question.

Israel should have demolished the Mosque Of Omar and rebuilt the Temple. Then Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem would have a special meaning for every Jew. It is to Israel’s shame it turned its back on G-d who gave it victory and proceeded to desecrate the land and hand it over to Arab savages.

Is it any wonder why Jews continue to die? Israel needs to wake the heck up!

NormanF on April 24, 2011 at 9:26 pm

Islam is a totalitarian ideology that masquerades as a religion. Its mindset of utter domination is exemplified by its denial of any past that is not Islamic, or at a minimum radically discounting its significance. We have a recent example of this in Afghanistan with the Taliban’s demolition of those ancient Buddhist statues. Ask a Hindu what the Islamic invasion did to India’s society centuries ago. The famous or infamous Taj Mahal was apparently a radical conversion of a Hindu temple: http://hindutemples-whthappendtothem.blogspot.com/2007/02/muslims-ruler-kutubuddin-ebak-demolish.html

Why not mention what happened to the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, after the Turks took over? The city became Istanbul, and the thousand year old cathedral became a mosque with the mosaics and other signs of its Christian origins obliterated.

I cannot respect such a religion. Its desire to destroy shows its hollowness.

worry01 on April 25, 2011 at 6:49 am

Ok, let me get this straight. A Jewish Holy Site (The Temple Mount) is pretty much eradicated and in it’s place is built the al-aqsa mosque? And the animals almost destroyed Joseph’s Tomb YET when some Yosemite Sam-looking fool burns a koran miles away, the animals go nuts and kill many? (Not to mention the Mohammed cartoon, the exile of that girl who started it and other simililar incidents).

C’mon! I swear, if I were an space alien, I would find it hard to believe WHY PEOPLE FIND IT SO HARD TO BE ON THE JEWISH SIDE? For crying out loud, it’s ridiculous why ANYONE would support the lying, crazed Mooooslims.

And then to see Israel giving the store away (like USA does) just really makes it more maddening and surreal.

And DS is so right. We Christians will pay by ultimately being banned from Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

I think the world has gone mad. I think I saw a link of stupid-assed Liberals hugging the mum of the animal who killed the Fogel family. I just don’t know what to do with that kind of evil and stupidness.

Never has an issue been more clear to me than Israel’s struggle and I say that remembering in my Liberal days when people would squawk “There are horrible things on both sides”. Uh, NO. Even when I was a Lib I NEVER thought the Joooooooos did something heinous in the conflict. I kept looking thou. Nada!

Then, we all know how Liberal Israel has become and how clueless Liberal Jews are.

This stuff just makes me crazy. I don’t know what to do with it. Anyone with a brain also knows that those Palestinian pigs are gonna kill ANY Jew any opportunity they have. It’s like knowing that when water falls on you, you’re gonna get wet.

I am sickened by what the Moooooslims get away with. I will NEVER stand with them! I still don’t understand why so many do.

Skunky on April 25, 2011 at 10:40 am

I think we should forever ditch the Dayenu mentality held by the Hebrews for many years.

Either the fascist Muslims get some enlightenment, or enlightenment will get them. Backed by nuclear weapons.

What is happening to America? Are we living the fall of America? When did we become weak? Congress–both Republican and Democrat, are inept; bought and paid for. The President is weak and uninformed at best. At worse, he knows exactly what he’s doing, which is selling America and its allies like Israel down the river. Our government is trying, in the name of multiculturalism, to make us into a second tier country (though parts will surely become no better than third tier).

Please note the above story is incorrect. Livnat was killed when his vehicle refused to stop at a Palestinian police checkpoint. Try driving through an Israeli checkpoint and see what happens. He was prevented from entering by the IDF yet he went ahead. You break the law you pay the price. Also Jonathan waffling about 2price tag2 policy is disgusting you are an ignorant bigot. The only reason Israel gets any support is because it is a Western democracy dedicated to the rule of law. A price tag policy would mean every shred of support evaporating from the West.

Clanrickard on April 27, 2011 at 10:13 am

Unfortunately, the situation being what it is, it is suicide for any Jew to go to Joseph’s tomb. Any Jew who goes there is violating the Torah and his blood is in his own head.

It’s unfortunate that the Israelis have let it come to this but that’s the way it is.

facts of life on January 5, 2012 at 6:33 pm

Tit for Tat. Israel should shut down acess to the Dome of the Rock in retaliation. Wars for fought for a lot less both in biblical times and the present.
Egypt does not forgive, why should Israel? Are enough wealthy American Jews and other supporters going deep enough into their pockets to enable Israel to respond unilaterally or are they waiting for the next holocaust?

Ron Wolf on January 28, 2012 at 2:39 pm

You are so correct my friend. I am curious to know if the alert level is justifiably highter on Friday in Israel?
In their Sunni vs Shiite conflict they seem to know just when to bomb each others mosque.

Ron Wolf on January 28, 2012 at 2:48 pm

Some how something has to get done,we can t let a good and best ally in the region being decimated the way it is,we could let Israel go at it with one price tag policy, not something I would do in my personal life, but we are dealing with butchers and murderers who consider an honor dying while or trying to kill innocent people,we in America have the luxury and option to be horrified and enjoy a legal system and most follow the law,”palestinians” are animals, evil, scum and pieces of turd, they will never change,if Israel gave tbem all the land, all of it,and jews move up to the moon, still the blood thirsty animals would look for them and kill them at the moon, mooslims are animals, blood thirsty evil non human creatures… skuny rocks.!!! DS rocks too.
