Your Tax $S @ Work: Radio Free Europe’s Gushing Eulogy for Jihadi

By Debbie Schlussel

WTF?!  Yesterday, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty posted a gushing eulogy to a Chechen jihadi leader who is now dead, marking the one-year anniversary of his passing.  Yup, your tax dollars at work.  Since Communism is mostly gone from Europe (except maybe Russia), there is no reason for the continued existence of Radio Free Europe, unless it is to combat the Islamic takeover of the place. But, on the contrary, since the radio network has nothing better to do anymore, it’s now in the business of promoting jihadi martyrs.  Remember, this terrorists was part of the group blowing up Russian airports and theaters and they are part of the Al-Qaeda network.  It’s simply beyond comprehension.  But not for Liz Fuller, the terrorist sympathizing employee of Radio Free Europe who writes and edits the Caucasus Report and who wrote the disgusting, gushing ode to an Islamic terrorist excerpted below.

Radio Free Europe Fondly Remembers Chechen Terrorist Leader Sheikh Mansur

Who needs Al-Qaeda to remember the “martyrs,” when you can have American taxpayer-funded people like Fuller do it instead?  Alhamdillullah [praise allah]! Here’s what you paid for America, including the posting of a picture from a martyrdom video . . .

Every insurgency produces its share of legendary leaders; but not all such men are unconditionally respected and loved by their comrades-in-arms.

One who met those criteria was the Chechen commander and Islamic scholar Arbi Yovmirzayev (nom de guerre Sheikh Mansur), who died one year ago after treading on a land mine during a trek from one mountain base to another. He was 37. The fighter who sat by his head as he lay dying on a snow-covered hillside was openly weeping.

Yovmirzayev was born in 1972 in the village of Samashki, west of Grozny. After graduating from secondary school in 1988 he trained for two years as a boxer with a renowned trainer in Grozny, but then developed an overwhelming interest in religion.

He studied the Koran first in Tajikistan, then in 1992 travelled to Uzbekistan, but was expelled from that country the following year. He continued his studies first in Chechnya, then Daghestan, then, in 1994, he travelled to Saudi Arabia to study at Medina University.

Yovmirzayev’s studies were interrupted by the outbreak of the first Chechen war in December 1994. He returned home in 1995, and joined the armed resistance, participating in the audacious operation to retake Grozny from occupying Russian forces in early August 1996.

After the signing on August 31 of the Khasavyurt peace agreements formally ending hostilities, Yovmirzayev went back to Saudi Arabia to continue his studies, but again returned to Chechnya when hostilities resumed in 1999.

In 2002, he was named a unit commander, and then Chechen Republic Ichkeria (ChRI) President Aslan Maskhadov appointed him a member of the State Defense Committee. In 2006, on the basis of his knowledge of Islamic law, Yovmirzayev was named chairman of the Higher Shari’a Court.

London-based ChRI acting Prime Minister Akhmed Zakayev, who first met Yovmirzayev during the 1994-96 war, describes him as “without doubt one of the best fighters of the Chechen resistance. He was extremely devout. He had great authority, not just among the resistance fighters, but within Chechen society, because he was one of the most educated and the best informed about religion. Especially after [the death of Maskhadov’s successor as Chechen Republic Ichkeria president] Abdul-Khalim Sadullayev, there was no one to rival him in this regard within the armed formations, and in Chechnya as a whole.

Hey, Radio Free Europe, with friends like you, who needs enemies? Thank G-d, this horrible tax-funded institution wasn’t around while my grandparents were trying to survive Hitler’s death camps. Radio Free Europe would probably be eulogizing Nazis.

Useful idiots like her willingly embed with the bad guys and then complain when the good guys shoot or bomb them. Unreal.

There is no reason for Radio Free Europe, but definitely Radio Liberty – that of combatting Islam. Communism is more dead in Russia than anywhere else – it’s probably flourishing in Western Europe.

Of course, for the cretins in the State Department, Russia is still a bigger enemy than Muslims

Do a little investigating, Infidel, and I think you’ll find that the State Department doesn’t regard Russia as the enemy. And NEVER has…………………

Good Grief Charlie Brown! How soon the World has forgotten.

Does anyone remember BRESLAN?!?! Please research and read the reports of what happened. Weren’t the attackers CHECHEN? Muslim? Child murderers? Savages?

I expect we will soon see “SHEIK M” Tee-shirts just like those of “Che”. Gee, here’s another opportunity for Hollywood to make a movie, Charlie Sheen to do a show, and America-haters to gather around Michael Moore to rant and rave.

THINK people…the Republic is in danger.

An American guy who was not brainwashed and is still able to reason. Incredible, I thought they wasn’t any left!

The FSB has ruthlessly killed off Chechen Islamists. Say what you like about the Russians, they understand Islam better than we do.

There are no moderate Islamists. Anti-Russian propaganda like this discredits us in the eyes of pro-Western Russians. The West, especially RFE needs to get a clue.

Communism is dead and the Cold War is over and the real enemy today is Islam.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, z’l, begged Bush the father to close the joint. He writes in the “Russia in Collapse” that during the First Chechen War RL/RFE became CHECHEN radio station; it always supported Central Asia and Caucasus “moderate” Muslims against Russia, etc.

An Islamic scholar…an education the belief of things that don’t exist except in the minds of the fanatically delluded and the insitutions used to force said beliefs on everyone who believes and anyone who doesn’t.

Reminds me of the “Ground Zero” Mosque…its defenders claim it “would have class rooms”…because you know, NOTHING BAD WAS EVER TAUGHT IN A CLASS ROOM, right? Fudging morons.
