HAMAS Cowers; Israel’s Response to Terror is Working (Temporarily)

By Debbie Schlussel

This is probably just temporary, as HAMAS is recalcitrant and will never go away, unless its supporters/members/enablers a/k/a the Palestinians go away.  However, despite all the criticism of Israel using missiles to target HAMAS terrorists, it is working.  It’s working so much so that HAMAS is begging its various factions and splinter groups to tamp down violence and stop firing rockets at Israel (not that that will ever happen–rockets are fired on innocent Israelis every day, but you just don’t hear about it, even in the Israeli media). This isn’t a result of “going to the peace table.” It’s a result of warfare, which Israel is forced to fight every single second of every day. Ronald Reagan called it, “Peace Through Strength” (though he, himself, sadly didn’t have the guts to practice it when we ran out of Lebanon, after Palestinian and Shi’ite terrorists murdered our troops and embassy officials).

Hamas rulers of Gaza appealed to other armed Palestinian groups in the territory Tuesday to halt a recent spike in violence, fearing an all-out Israeli invasion in response.

In the latest incident, a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft Tuesday killed an Islamic Jihad militant who was riding a motorcycle in southern Gaza, the Israeli military said.

Bull’s Eye!

The violent group vowed revenge “at the right time.” The military said the militant was planning a major attack on Israel. . . . Hamas spokesman Taher Nunu called on militant Gaza factions to stop firing rockets at Israel and refrain from other attacks on the border as well. He said a cease fire that has been in place for two years serves Palestinian interests and prevents Israeli counterstrikes.

Like I said, it’s a phony ceasefire, as rockets have been fired on Israel every single day, but just less of them. Still, this public cowering by HAMAS is fun to watch.

Hamas has made similar appeals for calm in the past few weeks, but rocket fire and Israeli retaliation have continued. The Islamic militant group appears concerned about triggering another large-scale Israeli military campaign similar to a three-week operation two years ago that killed about 1,400 Palestinians.

Now, that’s what I call “a start.” Or, rather, a drop in the bucket. That’s how you win a war, not by declaring pleasantries to liars and murderers over a plate of falafel at a table with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama sitting in between.

Also, I’d love to see how that compares with the numbers of Palestinians HAMAS itself has killed. But, of course, the Associated Press would never report those numbers.

Israel routinely retaliates for Palestinian rocket attacks with airstrikes at militant facilities in Gaza and smuggling tunnels under the Egypt-Gaza border.

As we know, these “hudnas”–what they call their phony ceasefires–are only temporary, anyway, as they are just a time period for HAMAS to rejuvenate and re-arm, planning their next terrorist attacks on innocent civilians. However, it’s pretty clear that Israel’s targeted attacks are working. . . for now. Sitting at a table and “talking”–a/k/a negotiating yourself off the map–never works with these savage terrorists. Never.

Again, you get peace by bombing them to hell (or in their case, the 72 re-virginized), NOT by sitting at a table signing away your country for a stinky piece of paper.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember we’re all on the same team. That’s why http://mittromneycentral.com/2011/01/12/congressman-pence-introduces-bill-to-defund-planned-parenthood-of-taxpayer-dollars/ was so refreshing and timely. Before the race for 2012 officially starts, we should get as many people to read that wonderful piece as we can. Then, in 2012 we can bring America back!

One of the more entertaining observations is that the media has openly reported both HAMAS and Egypt stating that Israeli military action is a “response” to HAMAS rocket attacks.

Typically, the news media reports Israeli military action using words like “Israel launched a strike…” without ever mentioning that these were responses to HAMAS attacks. I saw one just last week in our local newspaper. I wanted to scream; I tell ya!

But now, we have both HAMAS and Egypt openly calling for an end to the HAMAS rocket attacks because they invite an Israeli military RESPONSE. With the press reporting these statements, the public is finally getting (what Paul Harvey calls) “the rest of the story”.

This just made me laugh, the rat bastards. I read an interesting article over lunch about a “nice” young lady that was crowned Ms. Diversity in Chicago. I knew I was in trouble when the opening sentence read, “Danyah Zayed remembers the crushing insults and angry stares.”

I would love to ask this young lady if she will denounce the tactics of HAMAS and Hezbollah. I would also like to know what she thinks of little children singing about spilling their blood as martyrs for Palestine.

Oh wait. I can’t ask that. She’s Muslim. Oops. My bad.

Although I have no problems with terrorists getting their “just desserts” I am afraid that Hamas is calling for the cease fire as they are planning other operations that they do not want “disturbed” by Israeli airstrikes which these rocket attacks invite, until their plans are completed. unfortunately that they will do nothing to stop preparations for future attacks (see smuggling in gaza, syria to lebanon etc)
Keep up the good work though but dont get sucked in to the belief that this is working. Only going after them completely to destroy them will work.

Aha, ha R!! Debbie is breath of fresh air and through her we learn the truth about the middle east, not some dumbed down version fed to us by the MSM which if it were controlled by Jews, wouldn’t be so anti-Israel you dimwit!

What does a hack blurb for Mitt Romney by Dan have to do with anything discussed on this post? The link has nothing to do with the subject of this post — it is also a fact that Mitt Romney’s political position is far from supporting Israel.

An artillery barrage is far more telling than a missile. A combination of both is better. Lead with the missile, then saturate with artillery. Make sure some of the arty is targeting service corridors like gas storage facilities, transformer plants etc.

There has never been a “crease fire” in the 1400 year Jihad.

As long as this type of behavior is continued by settlers, and the Israeli government stands by, Hamas will probably continue to get support from the majority of Palestinians who see them as standing up to a brutal occupier…

Israel is ignoring the critics including those on ‘their side’ and just getting things done. Republican Conservatives, please take note.
“Peace Through Strength”
…in this modern world or at any time in history, it’s the only way.

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?(angels are only responsible to protect god’s spirit filled believers).Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.Israel…I love you…but if you don’t receive Jesus the son of the most high you will have to fight your battle in the flesh!!!Therefore..be wise.Who is wise?..Einstein,or one with a PHD?…Surely not! Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise. For god has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise!!!Knowledge puffs one up,pride promotes strife, but pride comes before the fall.Israel was going to have the world gay pride day in Jerusalem(God’s sanctified city) of all places.Leviticus 18:28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you(the land vomited out the nation before Israel was there was the cananites). The Earth and everything in it belongs to the uncreated one and he has only one son(Jesus). Some things are true whether we believe them or not!!
