The Governor of Pakistan’s Punjab Province, Salmaan Taseer, was killed by one of his bodyguards for having the temerity to call for the repeal of the country’s blasphemy law. No surprise – all the Imams approved of the murder and called upon everyone not to mourn for him.

Its not just what they do to the infidels, its what they do to each other because they can’t tolerate free thought, that stands out, too.

Their own behavior in their own societies ought to be a lesson for the rest of us.

May I offer my translation of the oxymoron “Halal-Friendly”. In Arabic “halal” means that something is permitted by Islam. So in such an establishment the Muslim wait staff is permitted to be friendly to infidels.

If you will read the Qur’an, you will discover that nowhere in this “book” will you discover Muslims being given permission to be nice to infidels. There are instructions on killing, raping, looting and torturing, but nothing about being nice. No wonder the KFC clerk went ballistic. A filthy kaffir requesting bacon! The nerve!

I don’t understand. You can’t honestly come to the conclusion that Halal fast food restaurants will lead to an increased incidence of tensions between the so called “West” and Islam.

I am Welsh and am well aware of the fact that there is no true concept of western values other than tolerance of others. Otherwise the welsh people would still be slaves to the English.

Please, where is your quantitative assessment to show the ill effects of halal fast food restaurants?

As was mentioned by Mike earlier, the reason for his aggravation seems to point to the fact he was being filmed. Surely with people of such low expectations of the muslim community, can you not blame the man for feeling he was under attack. For goodness’ sakes!

It conforting to know that there is a faith that forces non-members to conform to its dietary regulations through the use of abuse and threats of physical violence. Any other sect that tried to impose such strictures on outsiders, especially if it tried to “physically” enforce them would be deemed a cult. Also, why should a non-Muslim be compelled to follow Islamic dietary strictures?

This not a halal restaurant. it is a faux halal, ie, it does not serve pork products, but also does not serve halal meat. Likely because non-Muslims do not want their chickens tortured to death and then chanted over by a proto-terrorist. Speaking of which, the behavior of this employee is beyond strange. He is not in a Halal restaurant, one filled with Muslims anyway, and he rants like a crazy man about a decision he had nothing to do with…..unless he in fact did make the decision.

Why should Jews or Judaism be banned? Jews have fought loyally with US forces since the Revolutionary War. Jews helped finance the war (Haym Solomon in particular), and at least one Jewish soldier crossed the Delaware with George Washington. Over 500,000 Jews served among US forces in World War II. A Jewish acquaintance of mine was a senior Marine officer and served in Iraq, while several Jewish servicemen have died there and in Afghanistan. The same can’t be said for Muslims.

As to the issue of halal in otherwise non-Muslim shops and schools, there’s at least one other factor not yet noted. They are an indirect promotion of Muslim businesses and the imams who must “certify” the product as halal. That means more money for them, which most customers don’t support.

The halal violence is illegal. On the legal side, there’s the lawfare being waged against Israel. Brooke Goldstein of the Laefare Project discussed it extensively with Pat Toensmeier in this month’s Aviation Week. Its not just all the criminal things the Muslim World does, its also all the legal things they do to delegitimize and isolate Israel by turning the law of nations against it. Some difference but to the victim, I think it can be justly argued the means used are irrelevant if the goal is to secure your demise.

Hey Debbie, what ever happened with the lawsuit from the Churchs chicken franchise who sued Churchs chicken company for their ban on bacon? Seems they are owned by a muslim company and a franchise blamed their loss of sales on the fact they couldn’t sell pork.

Besides, kfc uses tyson chicken, the ones who employ and observe muslim holidays. No thanks, I prefer my food prepped by people with hygiene and sanitation skills.

The man goes crazy not because he’s being filmed; he was angry before he noticed that she was filming. He’s flipping out because a non-muslim had the poor judgement to want food that a muslim can’t eat. It was a food that is served in most KFCs — perhaps the customer wasn’t up on muslim lore and didn’t know what halal meant. So the employee goes crazy and breaks objects owned by the restaurant. He can’t stand that a woman is controlling his actions by recording him. He pisses on his own dignity like a dog on a wall and has to be led out of the building.

Your posts show a rather good command of English, I think, whether your first language is Welsh or Arabic. It’s your thinking that is problematic. It is made up of the jejune manipulations believed so clever by the mentally and emotionally immature.

Look, the restaurant does not serve bacon. When being told that the restaurant does not serve bacon, the customer became verbally abusive. Now had this been a black man verbally abusing a white person or a Jewish cashier in a kosher Jewish restaurant and the cashier responded as this man did, you all would be on the cashier’s side, and you would regard the cashier’s being sent to anger management training as “political correctness” or “multiculturalism” and you would demand that they stand up against some Al Sharpton Jesse Jackson NAACP plot against Jewish restaurants. You all would have been saying “I wish he HAD busted that (insert black slur) head open.”

Look, of course, this fellow’s profane violent outburst was unprofessional. He should lose his job. But how many of you have worked as cashiers – good, honest hard work – and have had to deal with obnoxious, unruly customers? Well, I have. To put myself through college, I worked fast food, convenience stores, discount stores and quickly had enough. I actually volunteered to unload trucks in order to keep from having to deal with customers like that one.

I mean seriously, are you guys actually blaming this cashier for this restaurant not serving pork? That is not his policy, it’s the restaurant policy. It was not this guy trying to impose shari’a law on non-Muslims. The restaurant actually does not serve bacon. You all are pretending as if this employee refused to put bacon on the sandwich (when cashiers don’t even prepare sandwiches, and again, I have worked at multiple fast food establishments, this is a fact, and again I willfully worked IN THE BACK, cooking, cleaning, in the freezer etc. so that I could avoid customers like that) or if there was this restaurant had bacon and he was simply unwilling to comply with the customer because he was Muslim. That is not the case. THE RESTAURANT DOES NOT SERVE BACON. So other than not lose his cool, what was this cashier supposed to do? And why didn’t these customers choose one of the many restaurants that serve bacon if he wanted bacon?

Look, if you guys have the opinion that it should be ok to verbally abuse a cashier trying to earn a living because he is Muslim … wait a minute, that is exactly what you guys think. Never mind.

@Gerald, it doesn’t matter. If a customer wanted bacon on his/her food by request, the restaurant is obliged to provide bacon to the customer, regardless whether the restaurant is halal-based or not. Especially if the restaurant is a global-known name and should have the resources to train employees on how to address customers’ requests in a professional manner and should provide information to customers instead of an employee throwing off an angry, hissy fit and threatening to cut off a customer’s head over a request for bacon.

Muslim employees must learn at all the times that there are customers out there who like their frigging bacons on their orders and does not care for employee’s religious feelings about pork. If they cannot deal with that, then they should not be working in the non-halal services.

I’m sick and tired of global companies going over too far backwards for Muslims who are more or less demanding that everyone be converted to Islam and send the Western civilization backward by few centuries.

What everyone seems to be forgetting is that fast food workers? Not the top of the executive ladder. While some are older, more mature workers, and some of the kids that work in food service are paragons of virtue, that is NOT the case for most slingers of chicken and burgers. Working at a theater, there are idiots and slackers and jackasses of all stripes that get through the hiring process. If this was someone who had gone through the rigors of management flipping out, I’d totally cede the point on this one.

Anyone notice the OTHER people in the clip? The two black-shirted employees (managers, I presume), or the customers? Almost everyone else in that clip I would have guessed to be Muslim as well, and quite possibly the person FILMING the whole thing was of Muslim heritage. I didn’t see any of them acting like jackasses. Just one loud-mouthed guy making minimum wage who was clearly NOT a good hire.

Agreed- lots of violence and barbarism from followers of Mohammed. But can’t a jackass serving chicken ever JUST BE a jackass serving chicken?

I know exactly how I would have reacted to this young muslim gentleman after his temper tantrum.

This second he stepped outside of that store I would greeted him with tidings of joy and well wishes. I believe that the only way to correct their world view is through understanding and kindness.

Following this friendly exchange I would rip his throat out. Yes, I would hand his vocal chords to him and then we would move on to stage two. Since he is a rather thin person I can see that he is in dire need of food supplements served up as a curb sandwich. Curb sandwiches can only be served with ample force from a foot applied to the back of the head. This helps the one enjoying the curb sandwich to expand their mouth as to increasing the ability to eat a full meal.

I’m past listening to any more of the muslim bullshit!!! So, eat a big muslim breakfast, dress in your best go to meetin’ allah clothes and come on outside. Free people are awaiting your arrival. Enjoy the beat down that we hand you!!

I live in Dearborn and the Rams Horn on Greenfield one day told me they don’t serve bacon. Ya I got a little pissed, come on, I was ordering a bacon cheeseburger. I fear all religions at this point, to me, they just hinder human advancement and all are based on controlling the people. Any religion left unchecked becomes pure hell for anyone forced to live under it.

This video causes a very biased opinion because we only see how the employee retaliates. The video description says that the customer got angry first. The man yelling is probably the cashier, and the man explaining “We do not have bacon” in the beginning is probably the manager, who had to come out to try and diffuse the situation.

If someone has an outburst like that, it’s for a very good reason. No matter what background you come from, people aren’t just more prone to anger or stupidity. The customer probably said insulting things to the cashier before they started recording which caused him to become upset. And then to look back and see them recording him, he probably felt very embarrassed, ridiculed, and disrespected to have someone recording him. He probably felt made fun of, like he was the customer’s amusement show.

This is probably the reason for the outburst. Even though the way he retaliated was outright inappropriate, I can still understand why he became upset.

It is unbelievable that this is allowed by a franchise, to allow the business which is not owned by but basically leased to not properly abide by said rules and codes of conduct of the rules for running a franchise operation of said Kentucky Fried Chicken. I believe that you as a franchise leasee you have to abide by the corporate rules governing the menus. This business needs to be investigated and fined or closed down or I’m with doug on this and in issuing a curb sandwhich to the pipsqueek of a muzzy. By the way who the hell are these outsiders to use their religion as a broadsword in my own country? The little twerp prbably rolls in pig fat at home anyway.
