Mrs. Bush’s People Lied: To Readers Who Applauded Mrs. Bush’s “Tough Stand” Against Muslim HeadScarves . . .
By Debbie Schlussel
When I first wrote about First Lady Laura Bush’s latest Breast Cancer Awareness Tour of the Extremist Islamic World (redundant), I noted that Mrs. Bush’s PR team told the press that she would not, under any circumstances, don an Islamic headscarf or anything of the sort:
“They do not expect nor encourage it,” of Western visitors at official meetings, said Bush’s spokeswoman, Sally McDonough. “As members of the official traveling party, we will not need to wear any head scarves or abayas at any point.”
I didn’t buy it. And, as usual, my instincts were correct. This is Sheikha Laura, yesterday, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (thanks to reader “greatcometof1577”) . . .
And when I posted the absurd pics of her with two wholly-covered alleged breast cancer survivors in the United Arab Emirates, some readers remarked that at least she was “uncovered,” unlike Nancy Pelosi and Hillary in their Mid-East travels. Well, again, guess what? courtesy of the White House, Ta-da . . . .
One final pic from Mrs. Pander Claus’ trip to the Islamist Gulf. Here’s Laura Bush butt-kissing Saudi King Abdullah (the guy who insisted no women be present on the Waco, Texas airport Tarmac OR in the air traffic control tower, to which the Missus’ hubby acquiesced) and Campbell Brown’s ex-boyfriend, cold (is there any other kind of Saudi?)Saudi Ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir (center). . .

Alleged breast cancer survivors? Do you mean you don’t believe they ever had breast cancer? Why not?
