“Niceville”: Another “Israeli” Palestinian Exchange Student Who “Loves” America

By Debbie Schlussel

Hey, it’s another “Israeli” Palestinian Muslim exchange student who comes here and declares “Death to America!” Let’s hear it for those foreign students whose exposure to America is such a priceless benefit.

“Niceville”: “Israeli” Palestinian Muslim Exchange Student Says “Death to America!”

Earlier this year, I noted the annoyance of the mainstream media constantly referring to Palestinian Arabs as “Israelis” when they commit crimes, as was the case with Palestinian Arab serial killer, Elias Abuelazam, who targeted Black Americans.  Sorry, but while some of these “Israelis” may have an Israeli passport, they never call themselves, “Israelis.”   They identify with the Palestinians, support the Palestinians against Israel, vote for anti-Israel Members of Knesset who sympathize with HAMAS and Hezbollah, and often pay their taxes to the Palestinian Authority and/or Jordan.

And I’ve also noted repeatedly on this site that the claim that foreign students coming to the U.S. will make them love us is just a myth. Total bunk.  As I always note, the best example is the late Sayyid Qutb, Osama Bin Laden’s guru, and one of the most respected Islamic thinkers.  He absolutely hated America, and hated it even more when he left after a stint as a Colorado college student. And don’t forget American college student, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. How did that work out?

And, now, there’s another–the Palestinian Muslim with the “Death to America” stuff.  I’ll start with the umpteenth paragraph buried at the bottom of the story after a gazillion uses of the word Israeli:

The teenager’s family members are Muslim Arab Palestinians.

Keep that in mind as you read the rest of the story, about this Muslim student who wrote, “Death to America,” on the blackboard at Niceville High School in Florida. And, of course, the only thing his family learned from America is how to hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit.

An Israeli student dismissed from his foreign exchange program after reportedly writing an anti-American phrase on a Niceville High School classroom board was sent home Friday evening.

The student boarded an airplane back to Israel, said Cynthia Harris, who is engaged to the son of the student’s host family. . . .

The 15-year-old student is accused of writing “Death to Americans” in Arabic on a classroom board during a discussion with classmates.

Harris said the teenager wrote the words on the board when interacting with another foreign exchange student an American student during a class at the school.

The student’s father, Khaled Kasab Mahameed, said the phrase was not written as a threat or with any malicious intent.

Yeah, because “Death to America” never has any malicious intent. Never. How on earth could they see it that way, those stupid Americans?

Superintendent of Schools Alexis Tibbetts. . . said neither the students in the art class where the phrase was reportedly written, nor the teacher have made any mention of a discussion that would have led to writing the phrase on the board. . . .

As for the Israeli teenager, his friends said he is a model student.

Yeah, a model student who writes, “Death to America” on the blackboard. Kinda defeats the term, “model student.” “He was a model citizen who robbed banks.”

By the way, I warned you about the program, which sent him to the U.S., funded by your tax dollars through the State Department. Remember? This is just one of the consequences. They’ll get worse. Trust me.

Mahameed’s son was studying at Niceville High as part of the Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES) through AYUSA Global Youth Exchange. YES was created in 2003 through a grant to AYUSA from the United Stated Department of State to “build bridges of understanding between the United States and countries with significant Muslim populations,” according to its website.

To quote the execrable Dr. Phil, “And how’s that workin’ for ya?”

Mahameed said the message of understanding between cultures is one that his son has advocated. . . . They now travel and teach other Muslims and Arabs about the Jews as they advocate a message of peace.

Mahameed has been featured in a number of news articles for his work, including a piece in Time Magazine.

“Tomorrow I lecture 50 students in the West Bank and tell (them) about how American values have to be implemented in all the world,” Mahameed said. “What do we get in return? We get that we are described as terrorists. I am shocked.”

Uh, if you write “Death to America” in Arabic on the blackboard of an American high school, that’s kinda the expected result, dude.

Mahameed had made appeals to AYUSA and the Department of State.

He did not deny his son made a bad decision when he wrote the phrase up on the board, but had asked them to give his son an opportunity to tell his side of the story.

His “side of the story”? Oh, you see, to me, Death to America in Arabic is a term of endearment to the infidels of the great Satan. It shows my desire for peace and understanding. We are the world, we are the children.

And here’s the money quote:

An attorney himself, Mahameed said Friday he was looking into hiring an American lawyer to defend his son.

“They can show that it is a mistake, a big mistake,” he said.

So, how much is this gonna cost the American taxpayers . . . on top of the money you already spent to send this “peaceful” cretin to school here?

Believe me, the irony of the name of the high school, Niceville High, isn’t lost on me. It sums it up: America is too nice. We’re Niceville, and Muslims take advantage and laugh at us . . . all the way to the mosque.

To the so-called “Palestinians”…

Either you’re Philistine Greek Colonialists or Arabian Imperialists — you can’t be both!

Philip_Daniel on December 6, 2010 at 4:40 pm

One of the problems is that these colleges and universities lobby the Govt. to keep admitting these ‘students’, so they can stay in business. Cracking down on these foreign students will not only improve our security, but save the taxpayers a lot of money.

Little Al on December 6, 2010 at 5:02 pm

Yes, it was all a big mistake. It was indeed a mistake to allow you and your son into the country.

Every government employee seems struck by this willful stupidity.

Where’s a good stalking bully when you need one. I cry for that generation of sheeple.

Its a rip-off. And who instituted this program? The Bush State Department, not Obama’s.

See… I don’t miss Bush – yet!

NormanF on December 6, 2010 at 9:04 pm

I read the article and the comments that followed.

The article kept repeating that he was an Israeli as though he were Hebrew and never really identifying him as Arab or Muslim.
(Again, trying to cast light on those trouble maker Jooooos)

And the reader comments were just as disturbing.

ebayer on December 6, 2010 at 9:59 pm

They mention that he wrote in Arabic and that his father’s name is Mahameed.
“Niceville?” Come on! There is really such a place? It sounds like a place name in a comic book!

WOW do you own a white hood and a noose too?! Just wondering with all of that hate you are spreading around. He’s a Child, a teenager! Yeah, they say stupid things. I believe everyone over-reacted in this situation.

S: Wow, do you own a brain? Clearly not, or you’d know that plenty of his fellow Palestinian Arabs of the SAME age (“teenager”) are Islamic terrorists who mean what they say when they wish you death . . . and they follow through on it. DS

Susan on December 6, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Dear Susan: If he had said “Death to Blacks” or “Death to Women” or “Death to F******s,” would you have dismissed it as adolescent stupidity?
He IS young and stupid and stupid young people are entitled to jump on bandwagons and be suckers for vicious propaganda and spout it, but if he threatens “Death to Americans” in a school full of Americans, the school has a duty to kick him out.

Miranda Rose Smith on December 7, 2010 at 7:57 am

Ms. Debbie, could you explain the US’s continued support of repressive and military regimes in Morocco, ALgeria, Tunisia, Lybia, and Egypt. To the latter, the USA has more than $68 billion of American Taxpayers’ money. Just a question.

Zighen AYm on December 6, 2010 at 10:28 pm

Do a little more reading around this site and you’ll find that Debbie, along with many of us Americans, are opposed to that as well. We understand it’s not a democrat vs. Republican thing, as Bush sucked Saud’s oil pipe just like Clinton and Obama. And at every election we just elect a new set of liars, who say they will “change” things, but of course, only change things so more money and power flow into THEIR pockets.

Doda McCheesle on December 7, 2010 at 9:34 am

Hey Debbie, is everyone telling you that you’re just being paranoid and seeing terrorists behind every tree? That’s what people are telling me when I show them the truth staring them in the face. I am not a bigot and neither am I prejudiced against others not like me, but it’s time for this nonsense to stop.

Naomi Romm on December 7, 2010 at 7:49 am

Wow Debbie!
I can always count on you to provide us with stories that no other news channel or newspaper, or any form of media are talking about.

It’s like you pull them out of your ass or something–my bad, I forgot, that’s what you are known for doing.

Sora on December 7, 2010 at 7:25 pm

Every page on your blog has a posting that demonizes Muslims. You are worst then Michelle Malkin. We have killed way more Muslims then they have killed us. It’s a little ridiculous to keep trying to paint them as the bad guys. Move on.

Joe Stevens on December 7, 2010 at 8:18 pm

PSSSST ! Joe, the muzzies are the effing bad guys you dolt ! It is obvious we haven’t killed enough now have we ?

Drakken on December 8, 2010 at 12:40 pm

Joe, mentioning real things that Muslims do is not “demonizing Muslims”. Referring to someone as “the great satan” would be literally demonizing them. Wheres your outrage at all the Muslims who openly and unapologetically demonize America and Jews?

What’s ridiculous is them actually being bad guys in real life. When do they move on from that?

The things Muslims do is under-reported in the media, not over-reported.

Adam S on December 8, 2010 at 3:13 pm

I understand that Debbie may be opposed to Amercia’s financing of the arming of Egypt and maintaining extremely strong relationships with other Muslim countries at the expense of human rights.

If Muslims were so bad, how come American governments have excellent relations with many of the rich Muslims who run the Muslim countries: From Morocco, and going East all the way to Indonesia, only Iran and Soudan do not have good relationship with America.

So stop blaming poor Muslims, and start re-evaluating the foreign policy run the US administrations.

Remember after 9-11, rich and connected Muslims were allowed to fly out of the USA when most commercial flights were grounded.
