It Takes A Reagan: Michael Reagan on Hannity Show Gives Schlussel Proper Credit

By Debbie Schlussel
**** UPDATE #2: Just watched the video of this and wow, there is no low to which the thief Hannity won’t stoop. He stole my information and questions regarding Al-Husainy’s ties to Ahmadinejad, too. Welcome to the Official Show Prep Site a/k/a Robbery Scene for Sean Hannity. Incredible. Do your own work, Sean. Quit ripping me off. ****
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
Many thanks and kudos to my classy–and gutsy–friend, Michael Reagan.

michaelreagan2.jpg

Many readers have alerted me that, last night, on FOX News Channel’s “Hannity’s America” show (hosted by none other than Plagiarist Extraordinaire, Sean Hannity Vanity), Reagan cited my work on the Dems’ fave Imam, Husham Al-Husainy, and told Sean Hannity something he knows but won’t admit–the the info on Al-Husainy’s extremism and his attendance at Hezbollah events was from my New York Post column and other work.
Way to put the deliberately stealing, plagiarizing Sean Vanity in his place. Oddly, Reagan’s satellite feed strangely expired after that. Coincidence? Will link to the video if and when someone puts it online.
Thanks, Michael Reagan. You are a true friend. And as we Jews say, you are a mensch.
**** UPDATE: My friend, Fred Taub of Boycott Watch, provides this transcript of Michael Reagan’s comments:

Michael Reagan: Also, per Debbie Schlussel in the New York Post this week, she went uncover. He has lead pro Hezbollah rallies, anti-American rallies (Democrat Lisa Schwartz Interrupts: ?Incorrect?) anti-Israel rallies, he done that since that period of time, and then you ask him to give the invocation to the Democrat winter meeting when he talked about oppression, were he talked about occupation, we know what he was talking about, he was talking against America and against Israel.

Bravo to Michael Reagan! President Ronald Reagan is one of my all time heroes and it’s great to see Michael carrying on his legacy.
Debbie, someone at Howard Stern should have you on to discuss Pawn Hannity ripping you off. That seems like a topic Stern would love on his show.
Be a man, Pawn Hannity!

Jeff_W on February 12, 2007 at 12:44 pm

I contacted 2 Fox News entities, H&C, and hannity.com about this outrage. I think my emails went into a black hole–no response at all.

lexi on February 12, 2007 at 1:10 pm

I watched Michael Reagan talk about how Debbie Schlussel had gone under cover and Sean Hannity looked like a “Deer in a Headlight”.
He just sat there with a stoic look on his face. He did not know what to say IMHO.
Kudos Michael Reagan who is very much like his father and not afraid to step on some toes if it means telling the truth of the matter.
The two paid traitors from the DNC kept shouting not true….Incorrect. (DNC operatives always try and interrupt people that are making a valid point, it is like they all went to the same DNC school of TV Pundit tactics that inhibit speech)
What has happened to the DNC? They are actively supporting and defending our enemies. It is a re-run of the anti war movement during the Vietnam War.

Listing alcohol consumption as evidence of liberalism is laughable. How about some better factors to focus on . . .
What percentage support the right of a man to marry a 9 year old girl?
What percentage think that it is right to have apostates killed?
What percentage think that Western nations should adopt Sharia law?
What percentage think that it is right to kill people who insult Muhammed or the Koran?
Given some recent polls taken in the UK in the past two months, the answers to these questions are above 25%. 25% of the world wide Muslim population is a LOT OF PEOPLE.

JSobieski on February 12, 2007 at 3:36 pm

Bad behavior by Christians was never justified by citations to the Bible. That’s because it is impossible to quote the Beautitudes in support of any violent act. In contrast, violent Jihadists make frequent citation to the Koran and Hadith.
A key factor that is ignored by Islamic apologists–both those well intention and those not so well intentioned.
How does one “reform” a book that was written by “God”? How does one reform a religion based on Muhammed as a “perfect man.” Any reform of Islam will strip away its core. Might as well just chant “Kumbaya”

JSobieski on February 12, 2007 at 3:41 pm

Don’t waste your time, JSobieski, because that muzlum turd will only cut and paste more islamic lies, deception, and bullshit from the usual islamic sources that are designed to deceive the infidel.
It’s like trying to have a “rational” discuaaion with Satan, himself. No matter how many truths you throw at him, he keeps coming back with lies, hoping you’re too stupid to notice.

Thee_Bruno on February 12, 2007 at 4:01 pm

Back on topic here–
at least Michael Reagan gets it. DS going undercover into Dearbornistan islamic rallies to get the truth first hand should be recognized by real allies.

BB on February 12, 2007 at 4:04 pm

Reagan is a class act–he purposely strives to live up to the legacy of his father. However, there is still too much PC-ness in even “right wing” media sources.
I apologize for getting sucked into an argument with an idiot, but one cannot disseminate the data in these two articles enough. The numbers show that more than a small minority of Muslims living in Western countries are “radical”–one can only presume that the numbers in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere are only that much higher.

JSobieski on February 12, 2007 at 4:09 pm

JSobieski,
You said;
“The numbers show that more than a small minority of Muslims living in Western countries are “radical”–
And, those are the muzlums who ADMIT to the pollsters how radical they are. The vast majority are not honest. They are afraid to tell the pollsters how they really feel so the percentages of radicals (a/k/a/ normal muzlums) are much HIGHER.
Remember, the religion of the muzlum instructs them to LIE to the infidel. It commands them to deceive the infidel.

Thee_Bruno on February 12, 2007 at 4:20 pm

Absolutely right. There is every reason to presume that the numbers are higher.
“Nearly a third of 16 to 24-year-olds believed that those converting to another religion should be executed”
Nearly a third of the respondents gave an answer that supports an act (e.g. murder) that is ILLEGAL in Britain. How many people lied to give a softer response?
The numbers are staggering . . .

JSobieski on February 12, 2007 at 4:28 pm

Mensch is right! Why couldn’t the Bushes leave a legacy like Michael.

Michele Peters on February 12, 2007 at 4:57 pm

“Moderate” muslims need to step up and let their voices be heard if they want to be embraced.
I embrace the two Muslim soldiers who returned to the UK and agreed to be “bait” for those planning on beheading them.
The fact that virtually all reports from the UK relating to the beheading plot all involve Muslims complaining about a “police state.” Numerous protests regarding “Islamophobic” policies of the government. In contrast, not a lot of voices condemning the plotters or supporting the soldiers. I couldn’t find a single link.
If there are any moderates out there, you’d best make yourselves heard in a public way to prove that you actually exist.
Hampering attempts to investigate terror networks is NOT a sign of moderation. Complaining about government investigations is NOT a sign of moderation. Suing Non-Muslims in Western Courts for alleged “hate speach” that involves quoting the Koran is NOT a sign of moderation. Publicly stating that you want violence Jihadists in jail or dead is a start, but even that is not sufficient. Provide good intel, help destroy the networks, and then the problem will be gone, and we won’t have to debate the existence of moderates anymore.
I won’t hold my breath.

JSobieski on February 12, 2007 at 4:58 pm

firstammendment
>again, i’m just hoping that we embrace the moderate >muslims before both sides are too far galvanized.
That will be seen as a sign of weakness and they will exploit westerners that think this way. The only thing Muslims respect is force as it is seen as a sign of strength.
They are living in the dark ages my friend and you can rationalize their behavior any way you want but in the end their goal is the complete take over the world under Muslim Control religious control.
They say it all the time in their Arabic Language peaches whey will you not listen?
Unfortunately, we are at War with the Muslim Religion just like during the crusades. IMHO

ScottyDog on February 12, 2007 at 5:02 pm

1st Amend,
Most of the people on this site do embrace moderate Muslims. They are a rare breed. At least the ones who speak out for what’s right. Wafa Sultan is certainly one who calls for Islam to change and to get rid of the Jihad line of thinking, we all applaud her. How do her fellow Muslims treat her? With death threats. She’s had to hire guards, she’s had to change her phone number several times and she is in fear for her life. She lives in Los Angelos, where are all the other “moderates” to defend her?
Unfortunately moderate Muslims who want to rid their religion of Jihad and all the other violent passages are too far and few in between and the brave ones who do speak up are kicked out of their mosque and live under constant fear.
If you really want civil debate on Islam, then come up with new material, we hear the whole, “there are Christian suicide bombers too”, bit. So when was the suicide terrorist attack committed by a Christian? Were they supported by a Church? Was their family given money by that church?
There have been terrorist attacks on abortion clinics moslty in the 90’s but they are/were rare, condemned by Christian churches and the murderers were put in prison. Most Christians do not committ suicide terrorist attacks by the way, because suicide is just as wrong as killing another person. I can’t think of any modern instance where it would be justified.

Minnie Mouse on February 12, 2007 at 5:07 pm

read this and tell me why the word “crusade” is a bad thing?
how many muslims countries would allow the freedom that our lecturers enjoy? why?
if there are so many different flavors of jihad, why even call them muslims?
and another thing, I dont believe in “christianty”. Christ was a person not a religion. You need to get this straight before you ever open your mouth about Christ or christians again. sheesh.
what youre reading is a free people trying to wrest your mind from an indoctrination, not a group of people trying to denegrate or insult you.
the jihad and the melding of marxism with islam is as much of an insult to God as what Jimmy Carter has done in Israel or Venezuala. You just cant admit it though can you.
Islam is not a race, unless youre an arab centric racist muslim.
We dont have to obey anything that muslims say and they are diging themselves a very very deep hole by glomming onto everything that blacks in America have used to sink their culture into the top heavy pit that it is.
When muslims speak to free westerners that arent liberals, they come off as cult members that use meta language that basically says “so what, what are you going to do about it?”
well, what we are going to do about it is surround you and let you kill each other everyday until you get it.
22 muslim countries. 19 dictatorships. No markets, Nor rule of law or science based technology. And you think that we’re going to care if you try and frame the argument as a “we’re poor victims of whitey..”?
we are trying to save you from yourselves and give you the kind of freedom we have given thousands, millions, before regardless of their ethnicity. But you cant even do that for each other?!!
YOU have to understand. WE dont need to know anything about a culture that has granted no rights to anyone except to die for a bunch of elitist snob princes and their mullah abettors.
What you will find is that we are going to be nice for a while and then we will begin to defend ourselves. As we did back in the day.
It all adds up to one thing and one thing only: Our God is strong enough to handle free thinking disciples while yours isnt. Therefore you will either fail or be enslaved by your own thinking.
cheers!

ready5/firstammendment here.
once again, debbie has chosen to censor me. why? those of you who saw my posts on this thread: did i do anything inflammatory? yes, i may have been a voice of dissent, but i was not contrarian… nor did i stoop to namecalling even when others did so to me. if this is how debbie handles criticism/disagreement, you can imagine that her internal dialogue is one steady stream of “attagirls”. those of you who look to her as a source of information should recognize just how biased she is… that she continues to censor me is binding proof.
YOU HAVE BEEN UNBANNED BUT YOU MUST READ THE NEXT COMMENT FROM ME, AND MAKE COMMENTS ACCORDINGLY. AND LOVE HOW YOU DECRY INSULTS AND THEN INSULT ME IN THIS COMMENT. BELIEVE ME, THERE ARE PLENY OF ATTACKERS OF ME ON THIS SITE, IN COMMENTS, ETC., AND I CAN TAKE IT WITH THE BEST OF THEM. WHAT I CAN’T TAKE IS YOU TURNING THE COMMENTS SECTION OF MY SITE INTO YOUR OWN UNEDITED VERBAL WASTE DUMP. MAKE IT EASIER ON ALL OF OUR EYES–EDITING, PUNCTUATION, CAPS AT THE BEGINNING OF SENTENCES, QUITTING THE USE OF THE @ SIGN, ETC.–ALL OF THESE ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED FROM YOU. MAKE YOUR COMMENTS “WAY” SHORTER!
DEBBIE SCHLUSSEL

demagogueshatelogic on February 12, 2007 at 6:28 pm

The reason “first ammendment” a/k/a “ready5” was banned was that his posts were way too long, had almost no punctuation and were turning people off of reading the comments (especially me). Plus there was that annoying use of the @ sign. And most of all, yesterday, he defended anti-Semites and Ahmadinejad Holocaust Denial Conference attendees. I got tired of it. I don’t like Nazi defenders on this site. So I banned him as “ready5”. Not being able to take it, or realize there was a problem he needed to fix, he rejoined using the screen name “first ammendment” and posted comments on every recent entry attacking me for banning him and removing just one of his posts. If he’s reading this, he may return, if he 1) quits defending the new Nazis, 2) learns punctuation and quits using the @ sign (sorry, it gets on my nerves), and 3) VERY IMPORTANT–MAKES MUCH SHORTER COMMENTS!
Believe me, calling me a “demagogue who hates logic” doesn’t help your case, nor does accusing me of deleting comments that legitimately disagree with me. There are plenty of those on this site, and I’ve neither deleted them, nor banned their authors. They were simply made more succinctly, with proper grammar, punctuation, capital letters at the beginning of sentences and, ABOVE ALL, BREVITY!
Actually, since you are an atheist who endlessly defends the most extremist Muslims and regular practices of intolerance characterizing Islam, you make my point about atheists all too well, so you were useful for that.
Otherwise we are simply not interested in reading your comments. And don’t you dare post comments attacking me on every entry, again. It will be a waste of time, as I will delete them–and ban you, again. It’s very easy work for me to do.
No-one is asking you to be a perfect English teacher, but the length of your comments, absence of caps at the beginning of sentences, use of the @ sign, etc., made your comments and the comments section of my site unreadable and annoying to others.
Finally, to “Thee Bruno,” in deleting your “Plonk” comment (b/c I removed “first ammendment’s” comments), I accidentally removed a very good comment of yours attacking Sean Vanity. Please re-post it because it was excellent.

You need to be able to tell the difference between moderates and apostates. Moderates are those who pretend that Islam is benign, that the violent injunctions in the Quran just ain’t there, and what’s worse, they help fuel a perception that the Jihadis are the ‘tiny minority of extremists.’ Apostates, OTOH, are those who have recognized Islam for the vile ideology that it is, left it, and in some cases, such as Ali Sina, Wafa Sultan and Walid Shoebat, started campaigning actively against their former religion. Ali Sina, for one, has done yeoman’s work at Faithfreedom.org (note: not .com), while Walid Shoebat has been one of the star contributors of the documentary ‘Islam: What the West needs to know.’
Recognize the difference.

Infidel Pride on February 12, 2007 at 7:51 pm

Also, something tells me that Michael Reagan won’t be invited on Hannity ever again.

Infidel Pride on February 12, 2007 at 7:53 pm

Hmm, I thought Wafa Sultan was calling for reform within Islam, I guess I got her confused. I do know the difference between Apostates and “moderates”. I just read an article on Walid Shoebat’s speech to UC Davis, it was excellent.
There was a person in Kansas, I think, who called for jihad to NOT be taught in his Mosque, he was kicked out. I can’t remember his name though.
Debbie, I just came across another atheist turned Muslim, Carlos the Jackal. Although he was not technically a muslim while he committed his terrorist acts, he did them on the behalf of and was trained by the PLO. Carlos converted in prison, suprise, suprise.
I’VE WRITTEN ABOUT THE JACKAL. HE WORKED WITH PFLP IN THE ’60S AND ’70S. AS FOR SHOEBAT, I USED TO BUY HIS ACT, BUT NO LONGER. HE ALSO RIPPED ME OFF, AND I WILL BE WRITING ABOUT THAT CON MAN. STAY TUNED. I DO LIKE WAFA SULTAN, THOUGH. VERY COURAGEOUS.

Hi Minnie Mouse,
Wafa Sultan is an apostate who I believe now considers herself a secularist. She is writing a book which I believe will be called, “When god is a monster”. Did you see the clip of her on You tube? It’s incredible! I read that she was a muslim and the islamofascist muslim killers murdered a favorite college prof of hers right in front of the class in cold blood.

CarpeDiem on February 12, 2007 at 9:11 pm

Hi,Debbie!
Please let us know about Shoebat. I had no idea! I’m very curious about what you know on him.
THANK YOU!

I’m glad to see Michael Reagan carrying on his father’s legacy of truth and honesty.
OT – There is an excellent article on American Thinker –

WillPower on February 12, 2007 at 10:00 pm

Debbie,
FYI, I also emailed Hannity’s show, and his producers, etc. Mentioned plagerism, and asked that IF I WAS WRONG, please contact me with accurate information. Guess what?????
I have pretty much given up on “Conservative” radio and TV. Bolgs are much more timely and accurate.
Keep at em’!!

Codekeyguy on February 12, 2007 at 10:23 pm

Carpe Diem,
I did see parts of her interview a while ago. I read so many Jihad/anti-Jihad articles I sometimes get the people and details confused.
As for Shoebat, that’s too bad he has resorted to plagirism. I thought he had a lot interesting things to say but I guess when you steal other people’s work it’s easy to sound informed.
Don’t worry Debbie, whenever I use some of your work, I always cite you as the author. I guess Vannity missed the day of school when they taught how to use footnotes.

Someone please post the link…video?

navrah on February 13, 2007 at 9:33 am

I’ll try to re-create my original post the best I can.
I stopped listening to Sean “It’s All About Me” Hannity for several reasons;
1. He CONSTANTLY says that he’s got the “exclusive” interview with someone while other radio and TV hosts already interviewed that person.
2. He always, ALWAYS prefaces (then repeats it, and repeats it) any talk about islam as being a religion that was hijacked by a minority of extremists, instead of speaking the truth about islam. He never talks about the central tenets of islam. He never quotes from the qur’ an. If he did, he’d then have to expose it as a religion that is intolerant, violent, and deadly, but he’s afraid of the backlash. He actually does a disservice to his listeners when he does this.
3. Hannity doesn’t talk – he PONTIFICATES. He’ll go on a rant, repeating himself for 15 minutes, talking about the same thing. He treats his listeners as if they’re a bunch of school kids and he’s the teacher. Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, the rant turns shrill – it’s just as bad as listening Hillary Clinton on the campaign stump.
4. He thrusts himself into just about every caller’s conversation. Listen for yourself: In about 8 out of every 10 caller’s phone calls, Hannity cuts them off to talk about himself. He’ll go on for minutes about how he had a hard life in his early adulthood; how he “did this, did that”; or how he worked as a bartender, painter, construction worker, boat builder, etc. In short, it’s all about him.
5. He’s always talking about what he does on the weekends, what he does on vacation, what he does with his family, what cars he drives, as if anyone really gives a $hit. He also talks on the air way too much with his producer and airhead extraordinaire, “Flirty Flipper”. I don’t care to listen to that tripe…just give me the news and talk about the issues. Even Rush cut down on his golf-outing bull sessions.
6. Hannity’s gimmic to wrap himself in country music is obvious and insulting. He does this to come across as being a more “red-blooded American”, and being more “down-to-Earth” rather than the elitist media star. He’s emulating that other phony, gun-slinging, urban cowboy, Don “The Cryptkeeper” Imus. Hannity would never hang around with Jazz and Blues artists or have them on his show because that’s too “sophisticated” for him.
Hannity is tiresome and after a while it’s easy to discern that his show is all about him.
No, I now listen to news radio or music when I can. I just can’t stand the phoniness. And, I’ve always been critical of Hannity – not just now, during his plagiarism scandal.

Thee_Bruno on February 13, 2007 at 10:32 am

Comparing Hannity to Imus, I love it.
Ever notice how Imus looks just like the Creeper from the old Scooby Doo cartoon?
http://privatestock.wordpress.com/files/2007/01/the-creeper.JPG

Stealthkix on February 13, 2007 at 3:23 pm

Stealthkix–love the pic link–how accurate you are.
I actually saw Imus on TV this morning with his little buckaroo cowboy hat chewing his wad while he grumbles the dumbest things. It struck me then–this dude is really a cartoon character–you decoded him–“the Creeper!” Bruno–has him too–the Cryptkeeper! LOL.
Imus resembles a cold cadaver. Do people listen to Imus? What is amazing is that he seems to take himself seriously!

BB on February 13, 2007 at 6:40 pm

The Creeper really nails Imus in the look-a-like division. Another “separated at birth” contest winner.
LOL!
