I watched Michael Reagan talk about how Debbie Schlussel had gone under cover and Sean Hannity looked like a “Deer in a Headlight”.
He just sat there with a stoic look on his face. He did not know what to say IMHO.
Kudos Michael Reagan who is very much like his father and not afraid to step on some toes if it means telling the truth of the matter.
The two paid traitors from the DNC kept shouting not true….Incorrect. (DNC operatives always try and interrupt people that are making a valid point, it is like they all went to the same DNC school of TV Pundit tactics that inhibit speech)
What has happened to the DNC? They are actively supporting and defending our enemies. It is a re-run of the anti war movement during the Vietnam War.

Listing alcohol consumption as evidence of liberalism is laughable. How about some better factors to focus on . . .
What percentage support the right of a man to marry a 9 year old girl?
What percentage think that it is right to have apostates killed?
What percentage think that Western nations should adopt Sharia law?
What percentage think that it is right to kill people who insult Muhammed or the Koran?
Given some recent polls taken in the UK in the past two months, the answers to these questions are above 25%. 25% of the world wide Muslim population is a LOT OF PEOPLE.

Bad behavior by Christians was never justified by citations to the Bible. That’s because it is impossible to quote the Beautitudes in support of any violent act. In contrast, violent Jihadists make frequent citation to the Koran and Hadith.
A key factor that is ignored by Islamic apologists–both those well intention and those not so well intentioned.
How does one “reform” a book that was written by “God”? How does one reform a religion based on Muhammed as a “perfect man.” Any reform of Islam will strip away its core. Might as well just chant “Kumbaya”

Reagan is a class act–he purposely strives to live up to the legacy of his father. However, there is still too much PC-ness in even “right wing” media sources.
I apologize for getting sucked into an argument with an idiot, but one cannot disseminate the data in these two articles enough. The numbers show that more than a small minority of Muslims living in Western countries are “radical”–one can only presume that the numbers in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere are only that much higher.

Nearly a third of the respondents gave an answer that supports an act (e.g. murder) that is ILLEGAL in Britain. How many people lied to give a softer response?
The numbers are staggering . . .

“Moderate” muslims need to step up and let their voices be heard if they want to be embraced.
I embrace the two Muslim soldiers who returned to the UK and agreed to be “bait” for those planning on beheading them.
The fact that virtually all reports from the UK relating to the beheading plot all involve Muslims complaining about a “police state.” Numerous protests regarding “Islamophobic” policies of the government. In contrast, not a lot of voices condemning the plotters or supporting the soldiers. I couldn’t find a single link.
If there are any moderates out there, you’d best make yourselves heard in a public way to prove that you actually exist.
Hampering attempts to investigate terror networks is NOT a sign of moderation. Complaining about government investigations is NOT a sign of moderation. Suing Non-Muslims in Western Courts for alleged “hate speach” that involves quoting the Koran is NOT a sign of moderation. Publicly stating that you want violence Jihadists in jail or dead is a start, but even that is not sufficient. Provide good intel, help destroy the networks, and then the problem will be gone, and we won’t have to debate the existence of moderates anymore.
I won’t hold my breath.

1st Amend,
Most of the people on this site do embrace moderate Muslims. They are a rare breed. At least the ones who speak out for what’s right. Wafa Sultan is certainly one who calls for Islam to change and to get rid of the Jihad line of thinking, we all applaud her. How do her fellow Muslims treat her? With death threats. She’s had to hire guards, she’s had to change her phone number several times and she is in fear for her life. She lives in Los Angelos, where are all the other “moderates” to defend her?
Unfortunately moderate Muslims who want to rid their religion of Jihad and all the other violent passages are too far and few in between and the brave ones who do speak up are kicked out of their mosque and live under constant fear.
If you really want civil debate on Islam, then come up with new material, we hear the whole, “there are Christian suicide bombers too”, bit. So when was the suicide terrorist attack committed by a Christian? Were they supported by a Church? Was their family given money by that church?
There have been terrorist attacks on abortion clinics moslty in the 90’s but they are/were rare, condemned by Christian churches and the murderers were put in prison. Most Christians do not committ suicide terrorist attacks by the way, because suicide is just as wrong as killing another person. I can’t think of any modern instance where it would be justified.

The reason “first ammendment” a/k/a “ready5” was banned was that his posts were way too long, had almost no punctuation and were turning people off of reading the comments (especially me). Plus there was that annoying use of the @ sign. And most of all, yesterday, he defended anti-Semites and Ahmadinejad Holocaust Denial Conference attendees. I got tired of it. I don’t like Nazi defenders on this site. So I banned him as “ready5”. Not being able to take it, or realize there was a problem he needed to fix, he rejoined using the screen name “first ammendment” and posted comments on every recent entry attacking me for banning him and removing just one of his posts. If he’s reading this, he may return, if he 1) quits defending the new Nazis, 2) learns punctuation and quits using the @ sign (sorry, it gets on my nerves), and 3) VERY IMPORTANT–MAKES MUCH SHORTER COMMENTS!
Believe me, calling me a “demagogue who hates logic” doesn’t help your case, nor does accusing me of deleting comments that legitimately disagree with me. There are plenty of those on this site, and I’ve neither deleted them, nor banned their authors. They were simply made more succinctly, with proper grammar, punctuation, capital letters at the beginning of sentences and, ABOVE ALL, BREVITY!
Actually, since you are an atheist who endlessly defends the most extremist Muslims and regular practices of intolerance characterizing Islam, you make my point about atheists all too well, so you were useful for that.
Otherwise we are simply not interested in reading your comments. And don’t you dare post comments attacking me on every entry, again. It will be a waste of time, as I will delete them–and ban you, again. It’s very easy work for me to do.

You need to be able to tell the difference between moderates and apostates. Moderates are those who pretend that Islam is benign, that the violent injunctions in the Quran just ain’t there, and what’s worse, they help fuel a perception that the Jihadis are the ‘tiny minority of extremists.’ Apostates, OTOH, are those who have recognized Islam for the vile ideology that it is, left it, and in some cases, such as Ali Sina, Wafa Sultan and Walid Shoebat, started campaigning actively against their former religion. Ali Sina, for one, has done yeoman’s work at Faithfreedom.org (note: not .com), while Walid Shoebat has been one of the star contributors of the documentary ‘Islam: What the West needs to know.’
Recognize the difference.

Hmm, I thought Wafa Sultan was calling for reform within Islam, I guess I got her confused. I do know the difference between Apostates and “moderates”. I just read an article on Walid Shoebat’s speech to UC Davis, it was excellent.
There was a person in Kansas, I think, who called for jihad to NOT be taught in his Mosque, he was kicked out. I can’t remember his name though.
Debbie, I just came across another atheist turned Muslim, Carlos the Jackal. Although he was not technically a muslim while he committed his terrorist acts, he did them on the behalf of and was trained by the PLO. Carlos converted in prison, suprise, suprise.

I did see parts of her interview a while ago. I read so many Jihad/anti-Jihad articles I sometimes get the people and details confused.
As for Shoebat, that’s too bad he has resorted to plagirism. I thought he had a lot interesting things to say but I guess when you steal other people’s work it’s easy to sound informed.
Don’t worry Debbie, whenever I use some of your work, I always cite you as the author. I guess Vannity missed the day of school when they taught how to use footnotes.

I’ll try to re-create my original post the best I can.
I stopped listening to Sean “It’s All About Me” Hannity for several reasons;
1. He CONSTANTLY says that he’s got the “exclusive” interview with someone while other radio and TV hosts already interviewed that person.
2. He always, ALWAYS prefaces (then repeats it, and repeats it) any talk about islam as being a religion that was hijacked by a minority of extremists, instead of speaking the truth about islam. He never talks about the central tenets of islam. He never quotes from the qur’ an. If he did, he’d then have to expose it as a religion that is intolerant, violent, and deadly, but he’s afraid of the backlash. He actually does a disservice to his listeners when he does this.
3. Hannity doesn’t talk – he PONTIFICATES. He’ll go on a rant, repeating himself for 15 minutes, talking about the same thing. He treats his listeners as if they’re a bunch of school kids and he’s the teacher. Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, the rant turns shrill – it’s just as bad as listening Hillary Clinton on the campaign stump.
4. He thrusts himself into just about every caller’s conversation. Listen for yourself: In about 8 out of every 10 caller’s phone calls, Hannity cuts them off to talk about himself. He’ll go on for minutes about how he had a hard life in his early adulthood; how he “did this, did that”; or how he worked as a bartender, painter, construction worker, boat builder, etc. In short, it’s all about him.
5. He’s always talking about what he does on the weekends, what he does on vacation, what he does with his family, what cars he drives, as if anyone really gives a $hit. He also talks on the air way too much with his producer and airhead extraordinaire, “Flirty Flipper”. I don’t care to listen to that tripe…just give me the news and talk about the issues. Even Rush cut down on his golf-outing bull sessions.
6. Hannity’s gimmic to wrap himself in country music is obvious and insulting. He does this to come across as being a more “red-blooded American”, and being more “down-to-Earth” rather than the elitist media star. He’s emulating that other phony, gun-slinging, urban cowboy, Don “The Cryptkeeper” Imus. Hannity would never hang around with Jazz and Blues artists or have them on his show because that’s too “sophisticated” for him.
Hannity is tiresome and after a while it’s easy to discern that his show is all about him.
No, I now listen to news radio or music when I can. I just can’t stand the phoniness. And, I’ve always been critical of Hannity – not just now, during his plagiarism scandal.

I actually saw Imus on TV this morning with his little buckaroo cowboy hat chewing his wad while he grumbles the dumbest things. It struck me then–this dude is really a cartoon character–you decoded him–“the Creeper!” Bruno–has him too–the Cryptkeeper! LOL.
Imus resembles a cold cadaver. Do people listen to Imus? What is amazing is that he seems to take himself seriously!
