Latest Wikileaks NOT NEWS, Confirms What We Knew Re Muslim Nations

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m no fan of Wikileaks because its first sets of releases of documents, months ago, put U.S. troops and informants in harm’s way and probably got a good number of them killed.  Plus the guy who heads it and probably should be charged for those first sets of leaks, Julian Assange, is apparently a rapist. But the new batch from Wikileaks jeopardizes nothing for the U.S., and provides confirmation of many things I’ve noted on this site over the years.  However, while the information is interesting, it’s not news. Like I said, it’s just confirmation of old news we’ve long known about the fraudulent, terror-supporting Islamic nations.

islamiccrescent.jpg

For starters, everyone thinks it’s “BIG NEWS” that Saudi King Abdullah wanted the U.S. to bomb Iran.  It is?  I’ve written about that for months.  As I noted on this site, several months ago, there were reports in mainstream Israeli media that the Saudis allowed Israeli aircraft to land in the country.  And, for over a year, the Saudis have openly announced to the media that they would allow the Israelis to enter Saudi airspace to bomb Iran.  It’s hardly a revelation that the crown of the Sunni empire, Saudi Arabia, is afraid of the Shi’ite empire that we helped build through the blood and lives of our boys in Iraq.  It’s no surprise and not news that fellow Sunni-dominated Gulf States, including Bahrain, also want Iran’s nukes destroyed.  That Sunni-dominated Egypt and Jordan also share this view isn’t a surprise either.  They know Iran’s nukes would be used not just against Israel, but against THEM.  Not sure why anyone is “enlightened” by this old news and exercise in the obvious.

Also not news:  that Iran used Islamic Red Crescent ambulances to transport weapons to terrorists.  We know this has been going on.   As I’ve written many times before, HAMAS has done the same with the Red Crescent ambulances–transporting terrorists, bomb belts and vests, other weaponry, etc. for attacks on Israel.  And most of these weapons came directly from Iran.  That Iran is doing the same with Hezbollah is no surprise.  It’s just more confirmation of old news.

And my personal favorite piece of old news from Wikileaks:

Saudi donors remain the chief financiers of Sunni militant groups like Al Qaeda, and the tiny Persian Gulf state of Qatar, a generous host to the American military for years, was the “worst in the region” in counterterrorism efforts, according to a State Department cable last December. Qatar’s security service was “hesitant to act against known terrorists out of concern for appearing to be aligned with the U.S. and provoking reprisals,” the cable said.

Um, unless you believed eight years of Bush/Saudi propaganda that Saudi Arabia was America’s “ally in the war on terror,” would you be shocked by this.  It’s hardly news that Saudi Arabia funds Al-Qaeda.  We’ve known this since before 9/11, we’ve known this since 9/11.  I couldn’t care less that these same Saudis funded the Bush and Clinton libraries, and soon the Obama library.  And if America was completely idiotic, they’d also fund the Palin library (because she’d have her hands out to them, just like everyone else, despite her pretense otherwise), ultimately.

And yet, only Democrats are strongly opposing the proposed Saudi arms sale initiated by Bush and sought to be completed by Obama.  Why is that?  Why are most Republicans endorsing this sale?

Is it really a shocker to anyone that Qatar is helping Islamic terrorists?  This is the country whose royal family is funding Al-Jazeera, Al-Qaeda’s News Network.  I’ve long noted we could not trust or consider Qatar an ally.  I’ve noted repeatedly that it and other Gulf States shielded 9/11 terrorists and blocked the FBI investigation and that these states shipped nuclear elements and equipment to Iran.  We know that it took the Israelis to go to Dubai to assassinate a terrorist leader who dealt with Iran . . . because Dubai welcomed him as royalty.  Qatar is no different.  Different Gulf State, different royal family  of dictators, same Islamic hypocrisy and support for terrorists.

That the corrupt Afghan government, including the President, his brother, and the Vice President, demanded and got bags of cash and drugs, and the money disappears isn’t a new thing, either.  Um, even “Jimmy Kimmel Live” covered this.  Not kidding (see video, below).

Also, no surprise–that the U.S. begged Syria to stop arming Hezbollah, but that Syria gave us a giant F-U.  Uh, we had eight years of the Bushes sending Condoleeza Rice and Republican Congressman Jihad Darrell Issa to buttkiss the Assad family despite knowing that Syrian intelligence agents were in Lebanon working with Hezbollah.  And since then two years of Obama doing nothing with them.  So, this is news because . . . ?  We can’t even get the U.N. to do anything with the Syrians when they assassinated Rafiq Hariri.

None of this is news . . . if you’ve been paying attention.  Sadly, few of these so-called “experts” have.  They’re simply dummies.  And that’s why the Wikileaks information are revelatory to them.

To anyone in the know, the Wikileaks info is as new as sliced bread and ‘lectricity.  Well, maybe a little newer.  But not much.

I find it interesting to note that the O’Bama Administration warned Wikileaks that release of these documents would hurt American national security. As it turns out, the only thing these documents hurt was the credibility of politicians and mainstream news reporters who told us the opposite was true.

I know you’re frustrated that people are suddenly paying attention to wikileaks when you worked so hard to tell us all this stuff for many years. Yet the whole scene of the U.S. government complaining that release of this information would harm national security brought greater attention to it. Had the U.S. government never said a word, I wonder if many would have noticed.

Hey! If you think this is bad, what do you think European governments are covering up. I hear Queen Elizabeth is touring the Gulf States these days.

I wonder how WL determines the order docs are leaked.

Solomon2 on November 29, 2010 at 1:54 pm

There is a more serious problem than the content of any of these leaks or the fact that they are being posted. It is even possible that more serious stuff has been given to foreign powers who are opposed to us by the same source.

I want to know how they are getting the information and what exactly is being done about it. My guess is that the leaker is a George Soros plant (There could be more than one) with top security clearance who is unhappy that the Obama administration is not even more anti American than it has been.
My other theory is that Chinese hackers succeeded. Either way the Obama Administration is endangering us all through its ideology and/or its incompetence.

Hey USA, if you don’t want secrets printed all over the world, stop leaking them! (kinda yelling at myself, since I’m a US Citizen).

Truth on November 29, 2010 at 2:46 pm

Everyone is missing an important point.

If Wikileaks has obtained these documents, who else has obtained them, and are more damaging documents are in their possession?

What documents are in the terrorists’ hands? China’s hands?

Wikileaks exposed everything sordid, squalid and contemptible about our government’s activities. If its embarrassing, it should be. None of this stuff damages our national security. Our enemies haven’t learned anything they wouldn’t have learned from our media later. The stuff that came out over the weekend isn’t a source of pride for American diplomacy – even if you believe as I do that diplomatic communication should be confidential.

NormanF on November 29, 2010 at 3:19 pm

      Norman:

You ain’t gonna believe this, but I kinda think this leak was deliberate. I think the U.S. government wanted to inform us of these things without diplomatically being seen criticizing other countries.

So the wikileaks say that the Saudis are funding Al-Qaida and the State Department says: “Well… we wanted that kept secret because we didn’t want to publicly criticize Saudi Arabia.”

Come on! Like Debbie said: None of this is “news”. Somebody in the government wanted to call the public’s attention to this stuff and leaking it (and making a public fuss about it) was NO ACCIDENT.

As the public gets all fired up, the government and diplomats tell our, ahem… “trading partners” that it was all a secret and nobody was supposed to know.

It wasn’t news to me – I can’t say I was surprised. This is what any one with common sense would conclude. But you if you have had to wait to find that out from the State Department’s secret communications, then you’re a moron. We still can’t wrap our heads around the fact Islam IS the enemy. And until we do, we’ll continue to lose ground.

NormanF on November 29, 2010 at 3:03 pm

It does give greater exposure to the hypocrisy of US politicians, although during WW II these leakers would have been tried for treason.

The silliest thing is the way that US policymakers were begging Russia and china to help in applying sanctions against Iran. Stupid on two counts; sanctions are almost meaningless and Russia and China won’t help us. In order to get even nominal help from these two countries we will make concession after concession. These leaks do show the futility and stupidity of US policy. This country seems more and more to be on the wrong side of everything.

Little Al on November 29, 2010 at 3:41 pm

LittleAl, as I note in Debbie’s next thread, our security policy is absurd. Now we learn the Feds are going after WL, but only after everything was out in the open. That’s like looking for a wallet under the lamplight when it was lost in a dark alley on the other side of town. I’m using Charles Krauthammer’s metaphor to illustrate that American policy is not only dangerous but this side of useless and ineffectual as well. I mean, who takes a country seriously that can’t protect its secrets? And what if these had been real secrets? Agree with you there, I don’t think anything will have been learned from this fiasco.

The leak I find most intriguing concerns Turkey’s Islamist government:

http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/0,1518,731590,00.html

The leak indicates that the US understood that Erdogan and the neo-Ottoman Foreign Minister Davutoglu where threats, and yet Obama went to Turkey to deliver his big speech and blamed Israel for the flotilla dead, when this was, in fact, an Erdogan-sanctioned naval attack, arguably an act of war.

adam on November 29, 2010 at 4:42 pm

Its not news Turkey is run by extreme Islamists who want to see Israel disappear. I think that is exactly what Turkey intended with the Mavi Mamara and it has the chutzpah to demand Israel apologize for defending the lives of its soldiers from a brazen and unprovoked attack by Islamist terrorists on board that ship upon them.

NormanF on November 29, 2010 at 4:47 pm

how about the part about America saying Netanyahu always makes stuff up? Lol you left that part out didnt you.

DS -“it’s just confirmation of old news we’ve long known about the fraudulent, terror-supporting Islamic nations.”

Maybe not news to you but news to a lot (probably most) of people who initially ignored or heard the whitewashed version from the news and government agencies. At least it’s out there and maybe more folks will figure out the truth for themselves.
Some things take a while to sink in, but almost ten years after 9/11?!…sigh

DS -“Different Gulf State, different royal family of dictators, same Islamic hypocrisy and support for terrorists.”

That’s it in a nutshell. Is there a muslim nation that doesn’t fit that description or close to it, except for the ones run by Imams and Ayatollahs? Nah, I didn’t think so.

theShadow on November 30, 2010 at 2:25 am

I have to agree with theshadow, not news to us, but unfortunately half the country is not paying attention. The lack of interest is what bothers me the most.

sharon on November 30, 2010 at 9:55 am

Debbie
You and Rush Limbaugh covered this right away, this is not news. Now the American public has to wake up to this fact.
For too many Americans, it’s all about me or should I say uneducated selfcenteredness.

Patrick on November 30, 2010 at 11:19 am

Far as I’m concerned, Wikileaks should be investigated, all they did was attack anyone who stood for nationalism, conservatism, etc. They NEVER attacked the other side, ie, radical left wing across the world. To me wikileaks is a hack organization filled with fellow-travelling leftist who are a bunch of globalist!

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on November 30, 2010 at 1:31 pm

Debbie,
what you said about the red crescent and weapons. That is exactly what the terrorist police people did in Egypt at Elkousheh vilaage in 2000. the only difference is that they did not do that to fight any other outsiders, but to slaughter the peaceful copts on christmas Eve. No wonder. this is Islam.
