I have yet to try camel milk – and have not tried the ice cream – although have been told it “makes great ice cream!!!” Rose in Dubai has left a recipe for making camel milk ice cream here: http://stilettosinthesand.blogspot.com/2006/10/where-is-peta.html. I think probably I’ll just stick to the occasional pint of Haagen-Dazs.

What’s so surprising about this? After all, they inseminate their women with camel sperm, so drinking camel’s milk shouldn’t be all that repulsive.

I’m not about to find out how it tastes (not kosher), but who cares what domesticated animal you’re getting your milk from? If they’ve got camels sitting around anyway, I don’t get why people shouldn’t be drinking their milk. As if cows are some great noble beast?
